CSS Informatics Releases eLoader(TM) 4.0

WILMINGTON, N.C., May 27, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) ----PPD, Inc. (NASDAQ:PPDI) today announced that CSS Informatics, the clinical and safety data management consulting services and proprietary e-technologies division within PPD, has released an enhanced version of its specialized software product, eLoader(TM).

eLoader's pre-processing technology allows pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies to load patient response, vendor and laboratory data; trial protocol information and electronic data capture system data from external sources into Oracle Clinical(R) and Oracle Thesaurus Management System (TMS). eLoader 4.0 offers enhanced capabilities, allowing users to load data into a study's test area and map to provisional objects within Oracle Clinical. Users can also perform eLoader dataset table management and show potential updates before loading data into Oracle Clinical or TMS. more

Interbrand merges brand valuation and strategy

Interbrand is merging its brand valuation and strategy teams. The move follows the round of redundancies at the group, which included its director of brand valuation for the UK Jan Lindemann and its UK marketing director Deborah Fitzgerald.

This week, the brand valuation and analytics team, and strategy and internal engagement team are being integrated.

Iain Ellwood, (pictured) previously head of strategy at Interbrand in the UK, has been promoted to the new role of head of consulting and will head both groups, which are being combined into a 22-strong team.

Vodafone's India business revenues jump 50 pc

In particular, in Vodafone's new business in India, which has been successfully integrated into the group and now has over 44 million customers, with over 50 per cent pro forma revenue growth. "Our existing emerging market assets continue to perform well. Vodafone Essar in India is delivering very strong growth and performing in line with our acquisition plan. Revenues increased by 50 per cent during the year driven by rapid expansion of the customer base with an average of 1.5 million net additions per month since acquisition," Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin said in a statement. Worry creases in textile industry

But now that exports have indeed slowed down, more problems have surfaced and both industry and government bodies are worried.

Chinese textile companies have been hit the hardest as many of them rely on exports for profits and the profit margin for most is narrow. Faced with rising raw material costs, no export tax rebate and rapid yuan appreciation, many textile manufacturers are saying this is going to be the toughest year ever.

If a lot of these labor-intensive textile companies do go under, the government will be faced with a rising unemployment rate. Official figures show the textile industry alone employs over 20 million people across China, most of whom are migrant workers.

So during my young years in 1-5 grade I was always sent letters from a business to be a model for them and do TV adds i guess it kinda stuck with me since i turned it down-- Alright my goal is to become a teen male model.... until 20 (starting college) My goal is to do small - med. jobs in PA I have no experience at all except for the little I do at home.. I tend to take Photography in later years so i thought doing modeling would do some help ... now here is some good questions. -Do I really need experience? - I tend to have small pimple brake outs weekly (can they cover it) since makeup prob wouldn't help and look weird on me lol) will that be a down fall? -Also I am not built (very)muscular I am slim though would that be okay? - I was told I'm to late to start since I am 16 - Whats perfect height for a teen male model? (I am 5ft 6in.) - Does it coast much for a modeling agency in PA? - Also When/ how long should you wait to you should give up with an agency. -Would they tell you if you walked in the door You wouldn't be suited for a model?
