Tax Reform Committee to Propose Slashing Personal and Business
The tax reform committee also plans to utilize the extra tax income in slashing the business income tax, in order to create a favorable investment environment. The committee preliminarily plans to cut the business income tax to 17%, down from existing 25%, thereby making Taiwan the area with the second lowest business income tax in Asia, trailing Hong Kong`s 17.5%. The tax cut will bring NT$120 billion of benefit to Taiwan`s 700,000 enterprises, an amount to be increased to NT$140 billion after taking into account the elimination of the 10% tax on corporate retained earnings.

Open Question: Was wondering which one of those are wrong?
1. This program recruits business leaders to become teachers. 2. Jewelry is readily available for purchase over the Internet. 3. She begun her professional writing career in 1976. 4. The protruding lower jaw contained canine-like teeth. moreResolved Question: How do I promote my business?
I am starting an internet modeling studio and need to find my own models. I don't really have any start up money. What are some ways I can recruit models? Thanks. moreResolved Question: Interface Talent Networking recruiting me for Customer Service?
So I was called for an interview today. No, I'm not model material, but this was for a customer service job. They said my background fit the job perfectly. I found this a bit odd, because I have had customer service experience, but most of my background comes from sales. That's fine, to be honest, I'd rather help customers with problems rather than try to force people to buy stuff they don't want. So anyway, I always do research on companies prior to meeting with them. My research has led me to an abundance of negative reviews from customers claiming it's a scam, and it has horrific ratings with the BBB. I've also learned that they do work with legit modeling agencies, although they are not one themselves. These agencies apparently have nothing but good things to say about them. So on to my question(s): A) Is this place really a scam, or are parents just not aware that you need to pay for a photo shoot in order to get your foot in the business (this seems to be a big debate on the internet)? I have morals and have turned down plenty of scam jobs before, but I have a son to feed and can't be as picky these days. Likewise, having a 2 year old son reminds me that I wouldn't want someone scamming me in this manner (not that I would ever pay out $650-1000 for pictures) no matter how beautiful my son is. B) Is it a good place to work for? Do they scam employees as well? Am I being led to believe that I'm working customer service, when in fact they will want me to go into malls and convince parents to come in and pay outrageous amounts of money for photo shoots? This is a difficult decision for me, and I will meet with them next week and form an opinion of my own, but I like to be prepared and not have the wool pulled over my eyes. Any and all comments and links would be appreciated, from both employees and customers. moreResolved Question: I met someone online I believe is dangerous or worse?
This man has been recruiting and training people over the internet and apparently offline he told me he ran a corperation and he constantly calls it the business and never stops talking about it He said in order to make my life matter I need to give up the lie of love so instead of throwing away my dreams and education for sex and other useless stuff I would work and be successful he is teaching others to recruit and honestly I don't think he is telling the truth about everything but he is not a lieing kid and he is trying to find me and being successful at it Please I am worried about my childern. heres what he said to someone with me present I don't know what this guy does and maybe it even works for some but I have a family and I want out what should i do? Criminal Convictions.?
I'm applying for the British Navy next year, and I've came across a section of legislation which doesn't seem to make any sense at all. Basically I have 2 cautions for possession of Cannabis. Both "SPENT" under the Rehabilitation of offenders act. Now I've done a little research into where this leaves me standing in regard to applying for the Navy. Basically the Navys booklet on Eligibility states; Candidates Who Are Not Eligible for Entry a. Candidates are not eligible for entry into the Naval Service and are not to be processed with any of the following "UNSPENT" convictions: (1) Hospital Order. (2) Sexual offences (including those listed on the Sex Offenders Register). (3) Offences involving loss of life. (4) Arson. (5) Misuse of Drugs: (a) Any offence relating to Trafficking or Supply of drugs. (b) Any offence relating to the use of Class A drugs. (c) More than one conviction for "possession for personal use" of a Class B or C drug. (See drugs classifications) (6) Three or more offences against persons, property, dishonesty or serious motoring offences. As you can gather from reading, any offences relating to 2 "CONVICTIONS" for possession and personal use of a class B or C drug can not be processes unless the convictions are "SPENT". Now reading through a Naval Forum I came accross this; Lord Avebury asked Her Majesty's Government: What restrictions are imposed by the Armed Forces on past offenders who wish to join up; and where potential recruits can access this information on the internet. [HL5360] The Minister of State, Ministry of Defence & Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (Lord Drayson): Applicants with the following convictions are not to be considered for the Armed Forces: hospital order;offences involving loss of life;sexual offences (including all those listed on the sex offenders register);arson;misuse of drugs—any offence relating to trafficking or supply of drugs; any offence relating to the use of class A drugs; and more than one conviction for “possession for personal use” of a class B or C drug; and .three or more offences against persons, property, or dishonesty. This is basically somebody asking the government who is elegible into the armed forces. Whoever answered, has put it across that any of these conviction are an instant bar and you will not even be considered if you have these "SPENT" or "UNSPENT". Which one would you regard as the main legislation for employment into the Royal Navy. The actual Elegibilty booklet or the answer from a government body? moreVoting Question: what job would be best for him??
My dad is currently an IT recruiter for a consulting firm. Things are going tough business wise- (for everyone these days) and making money is harder. We live good lives, and he supports our family well. He is extremely unhappy at his current job. He was worked there for 14 years, and they are beginning to treat him unfairly (actually its been going on for quite a while) Im just a girl looking to help out her dad. So please be patient with me. My father is extremely hands on- he is very smart, and can accomplish a lot. He always finishes what is asked of him. During his job they are cutting his commissions- and salary. It is extremely unfair. He wants to get out of the whole recruiting career in general. My dad double majored in Art Therapy. (When at the time, he thought he could do a lot with, and now there's not much at all, or atleast not to make a good living with). He is a great artist. Extremely well playing musician. And great at everything he does. A lot of the time it is hard to go back to school and just totally start over. Does anyone have a good idea of what my dad should possibly seek or go after? We were thinking a Talent Manager. Someone like Kris Kardashian or Frankie Delgado (manage people like Kim Kardashian, and book them for upcoming events, shows, etc...) Since my dad is a huge fan of music, we thought it would be a good idea for him to look into. Except, on the internet, I have NO idea what to look under. If you have advice, options, or career options that you think he would be interested in, please let me know!! Thank You! :-) moreResolved Question: I might want to be a photographer in the Navy. What exactly does this entail?
I have no previous photography experience. Will they start training me soon after bootcamp? What will I most likely be taking pictures of. Do I have to serve 4 years or 2? What is this "18 month" business about? Can people actually serve that long 18 months? How often do people actually get called back to duty after serving? Is it possible that you can serve and never be called back to duty? I have so many questions and its nearly impossible to find answers on the internet. Nearly every navy website only lists the good/surface things. I need real information. Thinking about visiting a recruiting officer but I heard that they just feed you any b******t to get you signed on. This is why I feel I need to find the information on my own but am having a very hard time doing so. Only bits and peices and who knows if they are true. Is there a legitimate, factual website that gives you every detail of jobs/requirements/contracts for the U.S. Navy? I like the idea of being in the navy for a few years, encountering new experiences, and learning about photography but I have no interest in being bound to them for nearly a decade of my life. Any ideas, information or links would be appreciated. Thank you. moreResolved Question: Isn't a basic human right NOT to be bombarded with religious propaganda?
Isn't it any free country's OBLIGATION to democratically elect leaders who will then secretly appoint a panel made up of persons who have been recruited from the intellectual elite and approved by the mass media and business oligarchy to review ALL literature, visual arts, internet communications and phone transmissions for doctrinal correctness and adherence to the values of secular humanism? Don't we owe this to ALL our citizens, to provide the best and happiest life possible for EVERYONE who is not and has never been a fetus?Madd Texan, what makes you think we were fetuses? Because some Jewish dude grew wings and turned himself into bread and grape juice and told you so? <<Confidence trick From Wikipedia A confidence trick or confidence game (also known as a bunko, con, flim flam, gaffle, grift, hustle, scam, scheme, or swindle) is an attempt to defraud a person or group by gaining their confidence. History The first known usage of the term "confidence man" in English was in 1849; it was used by American press during the United States trial of William Thompson. Thompson chatted with strangers until he asked if they had the confidence to lend him their watches, whereupon he would walk off with the watch; he was captured when a victim recognized him on the street. Vulnerability to confidence tricks Persons of any level of intelligence are vulnerable to deception by experienced con artists. Confidence tricks exploit human weaknesses like greed, dishonesty, vanity, but also virtues like honesty, compassion, or a naïve expectation of good faith on the part of the con artist. Just as there is no typical profile for swindlers, neither is there one for their victims. Virtually anyone can fall prey to fraudulent crimes. … Certainly victims of high-yield investment frauds may possess a level of greed which exceeds their caution as well as a willingness to believe what they want to believe. However, not all fraud victims are greedy, risk-taking, self-deceptive individuals looking to make a quick dollar. Nor are all fraud victims naive, uneducated, or elderly. Confidence tricksters often rely on the greed and dishonesty of the mark, who may attempt to out-cheat the con artist, only to discover that he or she has been manipulated into losing from the very beginning. This is such a general principle in confidence tricks that there is a saying among con men that "you can't cheat an honest man." Becoming especially common since the advent of the internet, a known scam is sending the victim a worthless check, which the victim then deposits. The victim is then urged to forward the apparent value of the check to the trickster as cash, possibly keeping a small portion of the money as a commission, which they may do before discovering the check bounces. A variation of this scenario has the victim recruited as a "financial agent" to collect "business debts." Paper checks are not always involved: funds may be transferred electronically from another victim. Sometimes con men rely on naive individuals who put their confidence into get-rich-quick schemes, such as "too good to be true" investments. It may take years for the wider community to discover that such investment schemes are bogus. By the time they are discovered, many people may have lost their life savings to something in which they have been persuaded to invest. The confidence trickster often works with one or more accomplices called shills, who help manipulate the mark into accepting the con man's plan. In a traditional confidence trick, the mark is led to believe that he will be able to win money or some other prize by doing some task. The accomplices may pretend to be random strangers who have benefited from successfully performing the task.>> moreResolved Question: What is Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden, are they for real, do they actually exist in real life?
Recently, I was browsing the internet and found very interesting article. During the 1980s, when Russian troops occupied Afghanistan, the USA's Central Intelligence Agency was sending arms and war material to the Afghani Mujahideen. The CIA also provided military training and logistical support to the Afghani Mujahideen. US arms dealers, CIA agents, and covert US military Special Operations troops were deeply involved in assisting the Afghan resistance to Russian occupation. The Stinger shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missiles which the USA gave to the Mujahideen enabled the Mujahideen to turn the tide of battle and to eventually defeat and expel the Russian Army from Afghanistan. Afghanistan is a major opium-growing center, and during the Russian/Afghan conflict, heroin trafficking out of Afghanistan became a major enterprise for the CIA, which used its own fleet of difficult-to- trace aircraft to ship the drug into Europe. When I was in New Delhi in 1980, I met young Afghans who were eager to sell heroin and AK-47 automatic assault rifles to almost anyone, including random tourists. War material from the USA for the Afghani Mujahideen was channeled through Pakistan, and during the Russian occupation of Afghanistan the US government and the Pakistani government formed a deep alliance. The arms, training, and logistical support that the USA provided to the Afghan Mujahideen was also channeled to Terrorists who are trained and supported by the Pakistani government and military to infiltrate into Indian Kashmir in an ongoing effort to destabilize the Indian control of Kashmir. After the Russians left Afghanistan, the Pakistani-based Taleban, which had always received its primary support from the Pakistani government, seized power in Afghanistan and formed the ruling government there until the US invasion of Afghanistan in late 2001. The Pakistani government and military abandoned their open support for the Taleban when the USA bribed Pakistan with many billions of dollars in US military and economic aid just prior to the US invasion of Afghanistan. Al Qaeda, which in Arabic means 'the Base', was originally the name that the CIA station chiefs in Saudi Arabia gave to the database that they created to keep track of the individuals and groups to which the US government was providing funds for the Afghani Mujahideen during the Russian occupation of Afghanistan. During the Russian occupation of Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden was an organizer for the Afghani Mujahideen. Bin Laden worked to help funnel US arms and supplies to the Mujahideen, and bin Laden helped bring Saudi and other foreign fighters to Afghanistan to assist the Mujahideen. In these roles, Osama bin Laden was constantly in close communication with the CIA, and bin Laden was functioning as an agent, asset, ally, or employee of the CIA. Osama bin Laden later assisted the USA's divide-and-conquer agenda in the Balkans by recruiting Saudis and other foreign fighters for the Kosovo Liberation Army during the 1990s. The Balkans are an entry-point for heroin trafficking into Europe, and the CIA, assisted by the Al Qeada volunteers recruited by Osama bin Laden, engaged in heroin, arms, and human trafficking there. Ex-US President George H. Bush and his son, the current US President George Walker Bush, have been close friends with the bin Laden family of Saudi Arabia since the 1980s. The bin Laden family business involves major construction projects throughout the Middle East, and the US government and US corporations have been frequent customers of the bin Ladens. On the day after the 9/11/2001 attacks on the World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City and on the Pentagon in Washington D.C., President George W. Bush authorized the departure of members of the bin Laden family for flights back to Saudi Arabia without any of the bin Ladens being subject to any questioning by the US intelligence agents or law enforcement. Osama bin Laden has never claimed responsibility for the 9/11 attacks on the WTC and the Pentagon, and officials at the USA's Federal Bureau of Investigation have stated that they do not list Osama bin Laden as a suspect in the 9/11 attacks because they "do not have sufficient evidence that Osama bin Laden was involved in the 9/11 attacks." Since 9/11, several videos and audiotapes have been posted on the Internet that purport to show Osama bin Laden, but all of them have been proven to be forgeries. President George W. Bush has publicly stated, "I don't care about Osama bin Laden" and Bush has also publicly dismissed any need to find or capture Osama bin Laden. Al Qaeda is nothing more than a bogey man, an invented ghost to frighten children and the ignorant. Al Qaeda is the invisible and nonexistent enemy that the US government has manufactured to provide an excuse for its never-ending 'War on Terrorism', which is in reality a war of US aggression for US domination of the world and its resources. The US g...The US government commits 'false flag' attacks such as the 9/11 attacks; the Bali, Madrid, and London bombings; and the recent bombings and attacks in India as a way to create a false threat where no real threat exists, providing an excuse for the USA to step in to 'rescue' and 'protect' other nations from 'Terrorist' attacks that were actually perpetrated by the USA itself.Jared to which category of people you belong, chldren or ignorant?Mitch3ll , thank you for your very informative answer,Meow, I do not believe everything I read. I am undecided over whether or not http://www.apiainc.net is a scam. They offer both paid and absolutely free memberships and they claim that they will start selling concert tickets as well as unlimited cell phone usage in their stage 3, yet they are in only stage 2, so far. They talk about sending over 100 marketing e-mails per day, while in stage 2 to help recruit more workers. The products promised in stage 3 seem to eliminate the risk of it be a pyramid scheme, but the being required to send hundreds of marketing e-mails in stage 2 make it seem like something is amiss. Please, elaborate on your own assessment of the validity, or lack thereof, of this internet business. No prior knowledge of it is needed. I just want to know what you think of what these people are selling and how they are going about doing it. I am considering signing up, albeit I need some educated further opinions, before I consider it any further. After reading the website further, to clarify, none of those things are entirely for free. apiainc.net lets customers purchase a membership that provides all of those things and I don't doubt that it comes rather pricey. moreResolved Question: Have you heard of apiainc.net and is it a scam, or does it seem like one?

I got this email, and a few others, in my school email address. I don't know whether it's real or not because things do exist like this...Like today in class we filled out a survey on an ad a company was going to run after researching how it affected people. (Although we did not get paid for that one, we just get extra credit for the class it was in) Also, my roomie has been getting some emails too. We are both in the Recording Industry program which is part of Mass Communications so advertising IS an area close to our area. Here's exactly what the email says... "Dear Kody, I would like to offer you a challenging and well-paid employment opportunity. Thanks for your answers!*UPDATE* I posted this question a few minutes after I read the last email (the one I posted) and I still have no reply. I guess I'll wait a few days and see if they ever reply. If not I guess it is a scam. Although, like one answer said...it does take time so they would be willing to pay a little at least. lol. So who knows, thanks for answering though!*UPDATE #2* Some girl was standing in the middle of a courtyard thing with a sign mentioning doing surveys, and was being recording. I think it is the police doing this to me.?
What continues to transpire is that my E-Mail is being erased whenever it reaches about 200 in number in my Inbox. I believe that it is either the police itself and/or busy-bodies that are in the downtown area of San Antonio. I am now at the SAMM Shelter since last Tuesday. I do not like my life being made a joke of here. it has, and is, happening. It is as if I have no Rights. It has got to stop. I am good. I have done no crime, and this is no way to "recruit" me to become a police officer or "super snitch" on all I like, enjoy, or get to be with. That is the sickest hole of a city I have ever seen in the United States of America, besides perhaps Atlanta, Georgia. Are they just predators or are they also internet stalkers, theives, and male-abusers? They must be delusional if they "feel" they are oing the police department a service. They do not like soldiers nor airmen either. I am clean cut and a good boyfriend, so I need their scuminess out of my personal business, including my veterans benefits that are all-but lost to me. Freaks and fools are messing with me. Old women who are very mean and schizo-psuedo players, I do not like and do not "do." This is gone way too far. I am all-but exhausted by it all, and I barely made it to the homeless shelter once more, a different one from the one (1) run by bobby mcfarland who cannot get his facts straight. He must not be very straight with people that always tried to do the right things. I want the persons taking my E-Mail taken to the jailhouse. I am good without them and their influences. I do not want to look nor become "sucky." This city is the epitomy of liars and turncoats against boyfriends and clean men, who, by the way, are, at least, honest to be around. Who are these freaks? Where do they come from? What do they want from me? I do not have it, so they must leave me alone. Thank you for any help. I need the technicians to help me and find them. Thank you. I really need some input on this, because I have several issues that I have faced while visiting/living in Australia (Queensland) that just makes me wonder if it is in act a developed country: 1) Education system is just crazy here, 20 million people and like 33 universities, yet different ranking systems place their universities in different places. Australian websites such as 'Good university guides' tend to throw couple of institutes in the top 100 list, while the top ranking systems on the internet might place 1 or 0 universities in the top 200 lists. Bond university, Australia's only known private university, is ranked (1000? wow) 2) I have never received a special service here while being a visitor. In San Fransisco you have free buffets, and casinos dash out the nicest drinks for free. In England (I own 2 flats there), I receive complimentary limousine ride to the casino whenever I want, and back again. In Australia I have to wait hours just to catch a single cab, AND if it's late at night, they sometimes ask you to pay before hand?! before they even deliver the service to you. 3) The people here are just weird. I never met anyone decent here (out of 300 Ive met over the years) in GEOGRAPHY, there are decent personalities however. Most of my friends (OZs abroad) know more about Geography than anyone that I've met here. Please understand that these people are ones I meet on everyday bases as a visitor, let it be the bar tender or someone in the bar. 4) They cannot believe that my Kuwaiti dinar is worth 5 dollars of their own currency, and they think the euro is the most valued currency in the world? what happened to the Maltese lira, sterling? that's kinda blatant. 5) The public transport is a disaster, I've seen buses running in Budapest Hungary that offer 3 times the service, more buses, electronic boards and timers. Sometimes bus stops here don't even have a time table, and calling their number lets you wait for 3 minutes which really sucks. And they look at you in a very bad way if you have no change what so ever, sometimes I only carry 50's, what can I do? 6) I takes me 2 nights to obtain a British visa for the holidays, it takes me 1 month to obtain an open visa for 10 years to the states (I must do an interview however), but it takes me 2 months to get a visa with multiple visits (3months + 3months) to visit Australia. Plus my country is on the Assessment level 1, so we're among the first ones to have the visas accepted, because they are hungry for tourism money. 7) They are unable to produce nuclear weapons on their own. And if someone jumps on me saying that they can hire people, well let me tell you that Kuwait (where I come from) has these capabilities as well. Well would you surprised that the US got recruited to free Kuwait and take action all in 6 hours. This is to point out that having the power to hire other people to fight for you doesn't make you a developed country fool. 8) Their economy is being led, they wont lead. Perfect example is now, the market crisis. Australian people used to get paid on average more than the US citizen, now a dish cleaner in the US being paid $9 an hour is the same as the waiter here being paid $16 an hour. If the Chinese market goes up, the Australian one follows. And now, they are in the worst situation ever, this means OZ families will spend almost double their savings to travel abroad, that just sucks. Check out the US dollar, British Sterling and the Euro. No comment. 9) Poor Australians are being ripped off everywhere. No matter where I go I see Oz businesses ripping off the poor people. A very perfect example can be seen in the following: a) Electronics, they are way to expensive here. You can set your own price and the people will pay. An iPhone here costs 1000 dollar (even before the market crisis). A 2002 Ferrari here sells for almost a million dollar which is a complete joke. American cars cost 4 times, regardless of their age. I envy my cousin who got himself a mustang for 6 US grands, I can still dream of having it in Australia. b) Internet. People here charge you even if you dont use the internet, and they will slap you continuously with their scary fines when you overuse their service. An extra GB overusing 3G's network costs $100 AUD dollars, 1 damn gigabyte. Don't let me even talk about Bigpond, because that's a whole discussion by itself. c) Anything European. If you purchase anything that's European here, get ready to pay for prices that haven't entered your brain yet. d) Cheaply built houses selling for crazy dollars. Its very sad to know that a country as large as Australia will make it very hard for a newly wed couple to get a new house. The finances are easy, they will give you loans, launch contracts, all to purchase a 3 bedroom house, in a cheap scary suburb that costs 3 times what I paid for my 3 bedroom house in Brighton (south of England) that I've purchased 2 years ago. They've severed the fingers of their rivals with machetes...brutally murdered suspected informants, including a 17-year-old pregnant federal witness...attacked and threatened law enforcement officers...committed a string of rapes, assaults, break-ins, auto thefts, extortions, and frauds across the U.S....gotten involved in everything from drug and firearms trafficking to prostitution and money laundering...and are sowing violence and discord, not just here in the U.S., but around the world. MS-13 members perpetrate violence – from assaults to homicides, using firearms, machetes, or blunt objects – to intimidate rival gangs, law enforcement, and the general public. They often target middle and high school students for recruitment. And they form tenuous alliances...and sometimes vicious rivalries...with other criminal groups, depending on their needs at the time. Who are they? Members of Mara Salvatrucha, better known as MS-13, who are mostly Salvadoran nationals or first generation Salvadoran-Americans, but also Hondurans, Guatemalans, Mexicans, and other Central and South American immigrants. And according to our recent national threat assessment of this growing, mobile street gang, they could be operating in your community...now or in the near future. Based on information from our own investigations, from our state and local law enforcement partners, and from community organizations, we’ve concluded that while the threat posed by MS-13 to the U.S. as a whole is at the "medium" level, membership in parts of the country is so concentrated that we've labeled the threat level there "high." Here are some other highlights from the FBI's MS-13 threat assessment: MS-13 operates in at least 42 states and the District of Columbia and has about 6,000-10,000 members nationwide. Currently, the threat is highest in the western and northeastern parts of the country, which coincides with elevated Salvadoran immigrant populations in those areas. In the southeast and central regions, the current threat is moderate to low, but recently, we've seen an influx of MS-13 members into the southeast, causing an increase in violent crimes there. MS-13 members engage in a wide range of criminal activity, including drug distribution, murder, rape, prostitution, robbery, home invasions, immigration offenses, kidnapping, carjackings/auto thefts, and vandalism. Most of these crimes, you'll notice, have one thing in common – they are exceedingly violent. And while most of the violence is directed toward other MS-13 members or rival street gangs, innocent citizens often get caught in the crossfire. MS-13 is expanding its membership at a "moderate" rate through recruitment and migration. Some MS-13 members move to get jobs or to be near family members – currently, the southeast and the northeast are seeing the largest increases in membership. MS-13 often recruits new members by glorifying the gang lifestyle (often on the Internet, complete with pictures and videos) and by absorbing smaller gangs. Speaking of employment, MS-13 members typically work for legitimate businesses by presenting false documentation. They primarily pick employers that don't scrutinize employment documents, especially in the construction, restaurant, delivery service, and landscaping industries. http://www.familysecuritymatters.org/homeland.php?id=1386189 moreResolved Question: Is there any internet sites where I can share my business opportunity for free?

35 Pakistani soldiers killed in suicide attack TODAY 08/11/2006. Islamabad, Nov 8, IRNA At least 35 soldiers were killed and others injured in a suicide attack in Pakistan's tribal area early Wednesday, the Army said. At about 8:30 am (local time) today, 35 Army soldiers embraced shahadat (martyrdom) in an explosion in a recent training area at Dargai, near Mardan, a statement from the Army's Inter-Services Public Relations said. As per initial reports, a man wrapped in a shawl came running into the training area and exploded himself on a spot where recruits were undergoing training. A few were injured, some of them in critical condition, who were evacuated to the military hospital, the statement said. Interior Minister Aftab Sherapo confirmed the death of 35 soldiers and linked the incident to an air strike on a religious school in the tribal region of Bajur. Some 80 people were killed when Pakistan security forces bombed the madrassa in Bajur on Monday. The government said that those killed in the strike were militants.
