Government sets criteria for selecting nuclear sites
The government is expecting to publish a list of sites it deems “strategically suitable" for building new plants in 2010.
If the Planning Bill is approved, construction could begin by 2013-14, with the first plant online by 2017, it said.

A FRODSHAM entrepreneur who has triumphed over personal adversity to successfully establish her own business, has been named one of the Western Region's Top 10 business heroes in the Barclays Trading Places Awards.
Janet Williams was presented with her certificate at a gala luncheon at Droitwich Spa on Tuesday. The government backed awards, now in their fourth year, are supported by Jobcentre Plus and The Prince's Trust. The awards recognise men and women who have overcome various barriers and battled against the odds to positively change their lives by setting up in business. Janet Williams, who started Frodsham Laser Clinic this year, is now hoping to go on to scoop the top prize worth over £13,000 at an awards dinner in London in October.. more
Monroeville woman hopes for the glow of success
"My dad certainly is an entrepreneur," says Null-Croner, a Hempfield High School graduate. "So after not being able to wear much makeup because my face might break out, I thought, 'There has to be something natural that would help, so why not incorporate quality skin care into cosmetics?'
"So I started making some calls. In the beginning, I heard the word 'no' more times than I heard the word 'yes,' But I kept making the calls. There were a lot of hard knocks. You have to have a certain personality to do something like this. And you have to know what you want."
Null-Croner says she never allowed the stress of such an undertaking to derail her passion or diminish her positive attitude. She says there were rough times, but come launch day it was all worth it.

Howard Troutner, who has written numerous grants for the Morgan Local School District, commented, �I came as a grant seeker and not as an entrepreneur. There are not that many foundations in Ohio that I could apply to. I have thought this is something that we need to do in Morgan County.�
He continued, �Our seniors at Morgan High School this year received over $900,000 in scholarships. We need to educate the community on what endowments can do. We feel it is a poor county, but it is not. There is a lot of money in Morgan County. I certainly want to do what I can to promote the marketing of this.�

Mike Workman concluded, �The Morgan County Community Foundation Fund will not be taken over, it will not be changed, it is for Morgan County, and that is how it is going to carry on for years and years to come. more
