Open Question: Crisis! Sending SAT scores for early decision?
I want to apply to UM[University of Miami] for Early Decision as I love this college. The deadline is Saturday[Nov 1] and today is Thursday[Oct 30]. I plan to send everything tomorrow[Oct 31] through a courier service and as long as it is sent before Nov 1 then everything should be okay. But one problem, I haven't sent my SAT scores yet and I realized that this has to be done through collegeboard.com and I have to PAY. It will take 1-2 weeks if I pay $9.50 but 1-3 business days if I pay $36.50. Now I don't know if I pay $9.50 if I will be accepted because 1-2 weeks is a long time so I want to do the Rush option where i pay $36.50. Now here's the problem, my mom's a BITCH and got all mad because she says I am very last minute with all of this and she refuses to send my scores tonight even though I offered to pay for it [total bitch] She says she will send them tomorrow but I don't understand why not TONIGHT, I want to send it off as early as possible, does she not realise this is my college education that she is trying to spite me over. If my Sat Scores are sent tomorrow on the Rush Delivery[1-3 business days] will it be okay even if it reaches UM after Nov 1? HI there, so i work on reception and use courier services all the time. when i got here, courier service No 1 messed me about so much! so courier service No 2, called round and tried to build a relationship with me and proved to me that they could do the job better than anyone else so i use courier service No 2 a lot. anyways, i call courier service No1 up after a long time to give them a job and the controller blasts me! saying for some reason u decide that u dont like us and we lost a lot of business cos of u and we had such a good relationship with the previous relationship so i replied hang on a minute i never sed i didnt like u for a minute as i dont know u! at the end of the day ur couriers messed me about, so i went to courier service no 2 and they proved themselves to me so he sed, wel where are ur precious courier service now then? ey where are ur precious courier service now? LOS ANGELES - George Takei said he will wed his longtime partner and business manager, Brad Altman, now that the California Supreme Court has legalized same-sex marriage.
Takei, the original Mr. Sulu on "Star Trek," said on his Web site that he and Altman have shared their lives for more than 21 years and are "overjoyed" to be able to legally marry.
"No more 'separate but equal.' No more second-class citizenship," wrote Takei, 71. "Brad and I are going to be married as full citizens of our state."
