Ghana calls for Iran’s investment
The general manager of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) in a meet with the director of Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry pointed to the great distance between the two countries and the lack of banking ties as the main obstacles for the expansion of bilateral economic relations, saying that by creating transportation lines and direct banking ties these problems will be obviated.
Ghana's Wilson Krofah announced that his country has great potentials in the agricultural sector, especially in growing tropical fruits like pineapples, coconuts, and cocoa.
He also expressed his country's willingness to apply Iran's technical and engineering capability for its train and railway renovation and construction.
Mehdi Ghazanfari, for his part, underlined the opening of Ghana's Embassy in Tehran as the first step for broadening bilateral ties. more

The idea would be to have a coffee/tea (maayyybee hot chocolate) delivery service, which runs only in the morning. Basically I would create a business where I would be supplying the product (I would choose something high quality and worth the while) and between the hours of say...6-8 AM I would have runners delivering hot beverages to clients. This would not be a call-in daily type order system...clients would pay a monthly subscription fee for the services and they would be delivered their beverage between a small couple hour time frame every single day. If they are not available a certain day, they are still charged the same price as if they received the services every day. I got to thinking about this, because I was thinking how great it would be for someone to deliver a hot tea to me in the morning instead of having to get in my car and drive somewhere for it, or make it at home. Usually it wouldn't be cost effective for a business to deliver such a cheap item but if this were to be done as a monthly fee and routes could be planned to be most time efficient, I started thinking I might be on to something... Do you think this idea has any potential? Also do you have any good ideas for this business if you think it has any potential? There are canteens which keep liquids very hot for hours so I would probably send each delivery driver out with the canteens and they would fill the cup on the spot. moreOpen Question: How is what we have now in the USA different from communism?
- government abolishes the ownership of private property, including land, homes, businesses, and etc. (and seizes the property by force if need be) in the name of uplifting the poor. USA - Imminent Domian - government seizes control of industry and agriculture stating it is in the best interest of the people, the poor in particular. USA- Stimulus package to bail out big corporations - government establishes and runs a central banking system, taking this duty away from privately-owned banks, for the good of the people. USA - Federal Bank - government takes control of transportation and communication USA - Patriot Act - government controls labor, or is in the business of creating jobs. USA - Big and small businesses only want to hire illegal aliens - government engages in centralized regional planning USA - Nancy Pelosi - Ideals of equality among the classes, races, and genders are heavily promoted, with measures taken to institutionalize equality through: USA - Obama - A graduated income tax to redistribute wealth - taking from the rich and giving to the poor USA - Demonrats. - Government-controlled, free public education (with a government-approved curriculum). USA - Been in affect for quite a while now These are the only 2 that haven't been really messed with but its only a matter of time. - Abolition of inheritance - government implements policies that are hostile to a belief in God and religion So out of all that Communism belief there is only 2 things that we don't currently have. So can anyone tell me what it is that we have that is so different from communism?- government abolishes the ownership of private property, including land, homes, businesses, and etc. (and seizes the property by force if need be) in the name of uplifting the poor. USA - Tenant Rights, welfare - Ideals of equality among the classes, races, and genders are heavily promoted, with measures taken to institutionalize equality through: USA - affirmative action moreOpen Question: Written by a republican please read whole thing: Why Republicans should support health care reform?
http://www.chicagotribune.com/health/ct-perspec-0314-lahood-20100314,0,3364029.story I've been a Republican all my life, when I served in the Illinois legislature, when I worked for members of Congress and when I served in Congress. During the 2008 presidential election, I supported Republican Sen. John McCain. I have always been — and still am — a fiscal conservative, an advocate for a smart, but restrained, government. For those reasons and others, most people wouldn't expect me to be an advocate for comprehensive health care reform. But the truth is, I believe there is no bigger issue to solve and no better chance to solve it than now. If I were still a member of Congress, I would proudly vote for the bill that President Barack Obama is championing and I would urge my colleagues to do the same, not because I don't believe in fiscal discipline, but because I do. We do not need to look that far down the road to see the pain that failure to pass health care reform will cause. Americans of every background, class, race and political persuasion are suffering. We have the best health care system in the world, yet more than 40 million Americans lack access to it, a reality that is morally reprehensible. Health care is an essential, as important as food, water and shelter. Those who don't have it are left without the tools to survive. In the coming days, Congress has a chance to change that. The bill that will be voted on will reduce the deficit by about $1 trillion over the next two decades, and will reduce waste, fraud and abuse in the health care system. It will slow the rate of growth in health care costs and put America back on the path toward fiscal sustainability. The bill will give families and small business owners greater control over their own health care. It will expand coverage to more than 31 million Americans and will include tax credits to individuals, families and small businesses, giving them the same choices that members of Congress have to purchase private coverage. It will create state-based exchanges that will bring competition and transparency to insurance markets. And it will put in place common-sense rules of the road to hold insurance companies accountable and end some of the most outrageous practices of the insurance industry. Never again will people be denied coverage because they have a pre-existing condition. Never again will insurance companies be able to raise rates unfairly — like the 60 percent hikes expected in Illinois. While the ultimate vote on health care may not be bipartisan, the ultimate bill certainly is. There are several Republican ideas in the bill. It allows Americans to buy health insurance across state lines. It increases the bargaining power of small businesses by allowing them to pool together — much like large corporations or labor unions — to bargain for a better insurance rate. It gives states the flexibility to come up with an alternate health care plan, and it gives them resources to reform our tort system by developing new ways to deal with medical malpractice. I also feel compelled to remind my former colleagues that contrary to what many people have been saying, the bill explicitly prevents federal dollars from being used to fund abortion. It ensures not only that those seeking abortion coverage will be required to pay for it with their own money, but also that their personal money will never be commingled with federal funds. As a former congressman with a 100 percent pro-life voting record, I'm comfortable supporting this bill. There isn't one member of Congress who represents a district that is without a health care crisis. There are good, hardworking men and women in every part of this country who work for a living, but not at a business that offers the opportunity to purchase health insurance. On their own, the cost of insurance is just plain out of reach. During my time in Congress, I was known for reaching across the aisle. I did it not for the sake of bipartisanship alone, but in order to get important things done. Now, my former colleagues have the opportunity to change the lives of their friends and neighbors for the better by voting for health care reform. moreOpen Question: Written by a republican please read: Why Republicans should support health care reform?

ok, so i was just reading a yahoo article a few minutes ago, and it totally pissed me off!!! for those who haven't read it, the article was about a lesbian couple that wanted to go to their school prom in mississippi, but the district wouldn't let them(because one of the prom rules was you had to go with an opposite sexed partner). one of the girls wanted to wear a tuxedo to prom, and they wouldn't allow that either. in the end, they ended up canceling prom simply because they didn't agree with this lesbian couple. now I'm not lesbian(and never plan on it) and yes I believe that boys and girls should be together and not the other way, but when I see a gay and lesbian couple I'm ok with it because it's their decision. I'm actually friends with some people like that and bisexuals and stuff. not a lot but yeah I'm cool with them because no matter what it's their life I can't judge. what upset me though was how just because the school disctrict didn't like the sexuality of these 2 girls, and how they dressed, they canceled prom for everyone and now everyone else is making these girls suffer. what makes me more upset was how a lot of poeple thought this was right! In my opinion everyone has a right to live their life and can't be controlled by others. Plus, doesn't the constitution state we have the freedom to express ourselves freely? and those who are for the bible, didn't God create all humans. Aren't we all his children and doesn't he love us all the same no matter what or how we are? if homosexuals are supposedly going to "burn in hell for their sin" then damn let them it's none of your business let them have a happy life and you live yours. But that's my opinion. What's yours about this whole situation and any other opinions you have? moreOpen Question: I need major help with my history work.?

Firstly allow me to apologize for the delay, it took me more time than planned to put all the pieces together. Secondly I though explaining my role in this venture would be important to start anything: in a nutshell I was appointed by *** as a delegate for the set up and well establishment of the upcoming US branch. It was truly essential for us to collect information beforehand about the overall project, the budgets, and the different approaches we could take so that we could start talking about the same thing. During this past week, I managed to get a better understanding of the project and what it involved. Do to so I gathered information from various indispensable sources: a lawyer, a US and French tax specialist, a custom broker, a freight forwarder, a logistic agent, the French American chamber of commerce, and finally you. The first conclusion that came up was that it is a very serious investment of time and money. More over it involves a very high risk and a tremendous amount of work for potentially very high or no returns on investment. I must warn you our proposition is bit lighter than the one you offered for the reason that we had to consider factors such as your geographic location, your running business (Klover) and more importantly the initial plan and budget you submitted to us. The plan is to create a US corporation that would belong to our society in France 100%, note that it is not in our interest to open capital on a legal and fiscal point of view. We could get through French government very interesting tax and charges advantages and we could send what we call a International French Volunteer which would be subsidized by the French State. Given the cost and hassle of incorporating another structure, we would prefer one company. We would like to approach the US market on all levels: distributors, wholesalers, big and small end users. We would sell through two canals: 1/ Direct sales for the distributors, wholesalers and big end users. 2/ Online Website for end users. We would set up as we discussed the logistical platform in Buffalo for its proximity with Toronto (your HQ) and of course for various economical reasons. Your participation in the set up: - Recommendations in the products selection (this coming week) - Description of the selected products (to post on the website) - Feedback and recommendations on new website - Your presence on the NRA moreResolved Question: which of these pc's i should buy?

It hasn't quite worked out that way. Last month, the jobless rate in the U.S. hit 9.5%, the highest level it has reached since 1983. One who is democratic leads by example, serves others, and participates in activities that will be an asset to society. As I prepare to graduate in a few short months, I believe that my high school career has been overwhelmed with democratic acts. Throughout the last four years of my life, my parents would always get on my case for staying up too late at night. However I wasn’t watching TV, playing video games, or browsing facebook; I was doing what I was passionate about: working hard at what I love to do. I have had the opportunity to work with great individuals on dynamic projects throughout high school. I have led teams, started events, and directed committees, all of which have benefited the high school in one way or another. My goal from the start has not been to “beef up” my resume, but instead to create a positive school climate while raising money for charitable organizations. The students of our school are blessed to have a plentiful selection of scholarship options, as even in economic turmoil, individuals of this town continue to value the education of the future. In an extension of my resume, I created an event where two rival high schools broke down their barriers for one evening and raised thousands of dollars for the Madonna House and Project Graduation. I led a group of about a dozen students through the rollercoaster ride of planning and organizing. In the end it was worth it, as the gymnasium was packed with students and the event was displayed on the front page of multiple newspapers. In addition, I am the co-president of Students Against Destructive Decisions, my class’ representative for the Accreditation for Growth committee, the liaison to a teen wellness/suicide prevention committee, a manager of a restaurant, and an active executive board member of the Wall Business and Finance Academy, DECA, and the Class of 2010. moreResolved Question: How do I figure out my Opening cash balance in my business plan?

And do they have a plan to cover those billions, maybe even trillions lost to the US economy? I ask about Hispanics/Hispanic Market because they seem to only focus on them. ================================== The Growing Hispanic Market in the United States Virtually every type of company and organization in the United States is being impacted by the growth of the Hispanic population. You see it in government, healthcare, manufacturing, food service, construction, education, finance, legal, and these are just a few examples. Marketing and selling to the U.S. Hispanics has become so important that universities are offering programs on the subject. Florida State University has recently created a center for Hispanic marketing communications offering graduate certificates and undergraduate minor programs. Following are some facts for consideration: U.S. Hispanic purchasing power has surged to nearly $700 billion and is projected to reach as much as $1 trillion by 2007, nearly three times the overall national rate over the past decade. (Source: HispanTelligence®.) The top areas where Hispanics spend more than non-Hispanics are: groceries, telephone services, furniture, men’s and boys apparel, children’s clothing and footwear. (Source: Selig Center.) The U.S. Hispanic market ranks as the third largest “Latin American economy” behind Brazil and Mexico. There are more Hispanics living in the United States, than the entire population of Canada, which is 32.5 million. (Source: U.S. Census.) We are like a country within a country. Hispanic advertising by U.S. companies grew 24 percent in 2003, compared with 8.6 percent for the general market. This budget proposal is too INWARD looking... the way i sees it, it's like fixing a problem or crowd pleasing probably to tame the disgrunt on the ground that was lately the talk of the town about foreigh talent, job security & the identity crisis for a Singaporean, so to speak... There are largely NO bold initiatives from this budget proposal to create new sectors & businesses hence job creation to drive the economy in the next 5 years plan. Sadly, the focus was all about spending $bils to drive productivity which i felt the result will not yield much impact if you spend that amount of money to create new sectors to value-add to the existing sectors contributing to the GDP. There is a limit to how productivity can yield positive results such as the construction sector the govt had name for instance...to put it bluntly, you cannot expect to compare productivity of japanese construction sector vis-a-vis spore's... simply because of cultural, mindset & attitude differences. Even if spore's construction productivity increases or benefited from such program, the yield won't be large. If that happens, that is simply MONEY NOT WELL SPENT. Initiatives, i sees fit, should be to invest the budget deficits to into new sectors such as "renewables", for instance. Renewables, a "big" term to be a step ahead to reduce Spore's carbon footprint which is excessively large by int'l standards. Renewables can be programs, subsidy to encourage new investments, training, manufacturing in these industries such as renewable energy (eg biofuel, biomass, wind & solar energy, development/r&d of green machines, green cars, boilers, plants/factories etc etc)... unimaginable prospects.... It could also harness, enhance, integrate & reinforce the existing sectors of the economy. It is high time Spore govt should detach their support for the Petroleum industries & companies & gradually tax these monopolies for the years of tax benefits they've massively enjoyed at the expense of the consumer here. This is in the context of petrol pump prices anyone can easily observed that it is operated like a cartel. Spore should allow diesel engines cars which are now cleaner with the current latest technologies which gives better mileage. Spore should also consider to gradually mandate the use of biodiesel/biofuel in the next 10-20yrs ahead to set example to the int'l world that a small country can also do it's part to sustain the future environment. Unfortunately, our govt budget 2010 proposal from the look of it, is too busy with those trivial domestic issues & largely ignored the bigger issues & missed the big picture totally. This will be detrimental to the well being of spore govt coffers of not spending it wisely... hope debates by the MPs & Ministers able to put together a budget that is more laden with initiatives to set new engine of growth for the economy.. moreVoting Question: how much would it cost to create a hotel blueprint plan for a business project?

Hi, I'm in college and working on a project for a commercial recreation class. Our project is to conduct a feasibility study and create a business plan on a mock business. We're opening and operating a Bed and Breakfast in Illinois as our project. But we've ran into a problem with getting estimates for insurance. I've found plenty of insurance companies that offer B&B insurance, but they issue quotes for actual businesses. It's not like they have a pricing list on their website. And I don't think they'd appreciate writing up an insurance quote for a fake college project! I've got the types of insurance needed, but have no idea how much coverage is needed or what an insurance policy is likely to cost. The property is worth $500,000. Here's a list of what I have so far: -Business Personal Property Coverage -Business Income and Extra Expense Coverage -Ordinance or Law Coverage -Guest Inconvenience Coverage -Guests' Property Insurance -Personal Liability -Replacement Cost Coverage -Business Auto Insurance -Worker’s Compensation Coverage -Liability Insurance -Building Insurance -Loss of Income Insurance -Business Property Insurance -Equine Liability (we've got horses, yay!) -Food Spoilage Insurance Have I left any insurance coverages off the list? I have no idea what a policy like this would cost. Thanks for you help! I've enjoyed this project and it's been very interesting, but at the same time it's quite daunting! moreVoting Question: How do you guys feel about IVOB? Penny stock now? But....?
But they just hit the news! INVO Bioscience, Inc. (OTCBB: IVOB), a medical device company focused on treatment options for patients diagnosed with infertility, announces that the US National Institute of Health (NIH) and the World Health Organization (WHO) has approved a 100 patient study being conducted by Galaxy IVF in three INVO centers in Pakistan. The purpose of the study is to evaluate a low cost stimulation protocol combined with INVO to make an IVF affordable procedure available across the large infertile/sub-fertile population. The study will use a minimum ovarian stimulation protocol with the primary endpoint being number of follicles obtained and the fertilization rate. The secondary endpoints will be pregnancy rate and cost of treatment. Recruitment has begun for the study and Dr. Ranoux will be attending the first INVO cycles at each of the clinical sites. Galaxy IVF has discontinued the original study started in the IVF center in Lahore because of major protocol violations by the site. The new study will be performed in INVO centers that have been trained and have already performed INVO cycles per the protocols outlined in the INVOcell Instructions for Use. This additional data will support the widespread acceptance of the INVO in the Middle East. I own a housekeeping service I want to use OPM (other people's money) to fund my business. I purchased a coffee shop several years ago, ad while it was a great idea, the anchor store for the place I was attached to closed so I had to file bankruptcy (I had a lease and various other obligations that I could not escape). This time around, I learned and won't be sticking my neck out all the way without other people's necks at least half way out as mine lol. I have been in business for a year. I am creating a business plan. Marketing methods I have used are all free or relatively cheap and it has rewarded me with steady business. I thnk if I were to spend money on marketing our brand, we could get a lot more customers Plus I am operating in two markets. I want to be able to structure a deal for people who want to invest in my business. Of course, I'm running an LLC, not a C Corp so I can't do any IPO or anything like that. My problem is I don't know how to structure an investment deal: do I structure a repayment plan like a loan, with interest? Do I ask for the money in increments like an investor promises $10k over a year but to be given at $2500 per quarter with an expected return of $2000 after two years. PLEASE help! reccomend me a good book about getting investors without involving a million expensive lawyers. I want to be very basic. I just want to be able to show how our business has performed over the past year, show our business plan and ask for their money. I want to avoid loan-backing my business. I know what I want to do with my life. I'm trying to graduate early from high school so I can get a head start in college. I really want to become a fashion designer. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. I've taken art classes since 2nd grade. But here's the problem. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I want to design, create and sell my own clothes. I want to own my own store, and I want to be able to make the clothes and then replicate them. I know I won't be able to do this as soon as I get out of college, I know I'll have to work for a company and such. But I don't know what I'm supposed to do. What should I major and minor in college? Should I major in business or art? I would really appreciate your help. I'm planning on going to UVA for college (University of Virginia), but I'm not sure if they have an art school or something for fashion designing. Do you know? I really need your help. THANKS! moreVoting Question: what did obama say about health care in his state of the union speech?
i've seen the video and read the text but i just cant really understand what he means. if u can basically just summarize or tell me upfront what he's really trying to say that would be awesome... here is some of the text... This year, we will step up refinancing so that homeowners can move into more affordable mortgages. (Applause.) And it is precisely to relieve the burden on middle-class families that we still need health insurance reform. (Applause.) Yes, we do. (Applause.) Now, let's clear a few things up. (Laughter.) I didn't choose to tackle this issue to get some legislative victory under my belt. And by now it should be fairly obvious that I didn't take on health care because it was good politics. (Laughter.) I took on health care because of the stories I've heard from Americans with preexisting conditions whose lives depend on getting coverage; patients who've been denied coverage; families -- even those with insurance -- who are just one illness away from financial ruin. After nearly a century of trying -- Democratic administrations, Republican administrations -- we are closer than ever to bringing more security to the lives of so many Americans. The approach we've taken would protect every American from the worst practices of the insurance industry. It would give small businesses and uninsured Americans a chance to choose an affordable health care plan in a competitive market. It would require every insurance plan to cover preventive care. And by the way, I want to acknowledge our First Lady, Michelle Obama, who this year is creating a national movement to tackle the epidemic of childhood obesity and make kids healthier. (Applause.) Thank you. She gets embarrassed. (Laughter.) Our approach would preserve the right of Americans who have insurance to keep their doctor and their plan. It would reduce costs and premiums for millions of families and businesses. And according to the Congressional Budget Office -- the independent organization that both parties have cited as the official scorekeeper for Congress -- our approach would bring down the deficit by as much as $1 trillion over the next two decades. (Applause.) Still, this is a complex issue, and the longer it was debated, the more skeptical people became. I take my share of the blame for not explaining it more clearly to the American people. And I know that with all the lobbying and horse-trading, the process left most Americans wondering, "What's in it for me?" But I also know this problem is not going away. By the time I'm finished speaking tonight, more Americans will have lost their health insurance. Millions will lose it this year. Our deficit will grow. Premiums will go up. Patients will be denied the care they need. Small business owners will continue to drop coverage altogether. I will not walk away from these Americans, and neither should the people in this chamber. (Applause.) So, as temperatures cool, I want everyone to take another look at the plan we've proposed. There's a reason why many doctors, nurses, and health care experts who know our system best consider this approach a vast improvement over the status quo. But if anyone from either party has a better approach that will bring down premiums, bring down the deficit, cover the uninsured, strengthen Medicare for seniors, and stop insurance company abuses, let me know. (Applause.) Let me know. Let me know. (Applause.) I'm eager to see it. Here's what I ask Congress, though: Don't walk away from reform. Not now. Not when we are so close. Let us find a way to come together and finish the job for the American people. (Applause.) Let's get it done. Let's get it done. (Applause.) Now, even as health care reform would reduce our deficit, it's not enough to dig us out of a massive fiscal hole in which we find ourselves. It's a challenge that makes all others that much harder to solve, and one that's been subject to a lot of political posturing. So let me start the discussion of government spending by setting the record straight. thanks! ;) moreVoting Question: Are there any news org. that have challenged Obama's bogus "jobs created or saved" claims?
The Congressional Budget Office has ALREADY indicated that calculating how many jobs were "saved" the Recovery Act is impossible. So why doesn't Obama stick to jobs "created" (something you can actually measure)?? http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100217/pl_nm/us_economy_stimulus Obama and Vice President Joe Biden launched a sweeping effort to convince skeptical Americans that the stimulus has been beneficial on the one-year anniversary of a plan that was pushed through the U.S. Congress by Democratic majorities. Obama, in a White House speech, said he believed the stimulus will save or create 1.5 million jobs in 2010 after saving or creating as many as 2 million jobs thus far. His point was to show that the stimulus, while admittedly unpopular, had the effect of keeping the U.S. economy from plunging into a second Great Depression. http://wtop.com/?nid=316&sid=1846641 The Congressional Budget Office has noted the difficulty of measuring the number of jobs saved by the stimulus. "It is impossible to determine how many of the reported jobs would have existed in the absence of the stimulus package," a CBO report said last month. The early public warning mirrors internal worries among state budget officers nationwide. "They have to manage through the decline and end of the Recovery Act funds, but they know it's unlikely that improved revenues _ if they improve _ can cover the recovery fund amounts," said Scott Pattison, executive director of the National Association of Business Officers. The post-stimulus era is often called "the cliff." moreResolved Question: Books similar to "Paranoia," Joseph Finder?
Just finished the awesome book Paranoia, by Joseph Finder and I've been itching to reading another book like it. Here's the synopsis of the book, in case it helps you with any suggestions, thanks! Author Joseph Finder has written about espionage and international affairs for the New York Times and other newspapers, and is also a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers. So it would stand to reason that he had seen it all in the realm of espionage. Yet, in the acknowledgements at the end of the book, he states that his research on his other novels "has taken me around the world and into places like KGB headquarters in Moscow, but nothing prepared me for how strange and fascinating I'd find the world of the American high-tech corporation." In Paranoia, he combines high-tech business with corporate security and espionage to create an exciting thriller that the reader will not soon forget. Adam Cassidy is the quintessential slacker who is tired of his job at Wyatt Telecom. He diverts corporate funds to throw a large retirement party for a loading dock employee, and he fully expects to be fired for it. But instead he is threatened with criminal charges if he does not agree to steal highly confidential product plans from Trion, a rival of Wyatt. With the help of the Wyatt's CEO, security chief, and executive coach, he is groomed for an executive job at Trion. He is taught to breach the tightest corporate security and turn over his findings. Thus begins his life as a corporate spy, where the game he is playing becomes more and more treacherous, his loyalties to his friends and employers are stretched to the limit, and he is caught in a web of deceit from which there seems to be no exit. The characters are well drawn and believable. Finder expertly depicts Adam's struggle with his conscience, his problems with his ailing father and best friend, his worries about being unmasked as a spy, and his fondness for his Trion CEO. This makes him a very sympathetic protagonist. The two corporate presidents are strongly contrasted: the Wyatt CEO is ruthless, aloof, and vain; the Trion CEO is paternal, benevolent, and demands honesty. Also included in the interesting cast of characters are a quirky staff engineer, some power-hungry middle managers, a jealous and competitive coworker, and a shady security chief with a penchant for violence. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat, and the final plot twist was a powerhouse. Not only is this a fast-paced thriller, but it provides fascinating facts about espionage and corporate security. Each section defines an espionage term, which is then exemplified in the story line. I was shocked to learn about how lax corporate security can be, permitting access to password-protected PCs and locked offices and file cabinets. Even badge readers and biometric scanners can be circumvented. This is definitely worth reading, but be sure to schedule it for when you have some spare time, because once you start it you will have trouble putting it down. moreResolved Question: If Congress passed a Constitutional amendment requiring a balanced budget & term limits, would Dems oppose it?
http://www.contractfromamerica.com/ Beware, the tea party is crafting its own agenda, one that is diametrically opposed to the current corrupt environment. Here are some of the proposed initiatives, which the vast majority of Americans would approve of, but the current administration would clearly oppose: Amending the constitution to require a balanced budget and a two-thirds majority for any tax hike. Requiring every bill in Congress to be made public seven days before any vote can be taken and all government expenditures authorized by any bill to be easily accessible on the Internet before the money is spent. Requiring each bill to identify the specific provision of the Constitution that gives Congress the power to do what the bill does. Permitting all health insurance plans to be sold anywhere in the United States through the purchase of insurance across state lines. Allow small businesses and associations to pool together across state lines to buy insurance. Imposing a statutory cap limiting the annual growth in total federal spending to the sum of inflation rate plus the percentage of population growth. Creating a Blue Ribbon task force that engages in a complete audit of federal agencies and programs. Placing a moratorium on all earmarks until the process is fully transparent. Also requiring a two-thirds majority to pass any earmark. Making all lawmaking regulators, including presidential appointed czars, be affirmatively approved by Congress and signed into law by the president. Audit the Federal Reserve System. Making sure the federal government does not bail out private companies. The government should also immediately divest itself of its stake in the private companies it owns from recent bailouts. Amending the constitution to require congressional term limits. No person shall be elected to the Senate more than twice or to the House of Representatives more than four times. Hello, I created a business on my own years ago. I've been running it on my own as one member, me for years i'm planning to take a partner to expand to a 25 employee business with myself being paid out as an employee. I'm trying to figure out how much is reasonable to offer this partner as a percentage. This new partner is offering the budget and contracts for my new contract, but after that i'll be running this on the ground zero myself. Currently Looking at 49/51% with me at 51%. I'll be making salary to my business as well as 51% percent profits. This is a rather large contract to be taking on and I do want someone with the balls and experience and help to assist with the HR and Accounting but is 49% for my partner to say ..even?Did you mean to say, he would be adding "Contacts" for your new contract? Contacts IE some HR to get a new contract drawn, and some insurance quotes etc... The actual Contract that is coming i got on my own. moreResolved Question: Can I use the command line mysql interface for windows with my yahoo small business plan?

We're five girls performing a diminutive adaptation of Spring Awakening for our semester exam on Feb 23. We're college juniors (3rd yr univ) for Performing Arts major. If this sounds familiar, I did ask this question last week but now there are new developments. The exam is next week. I'm doing all the work like writing and rewriting scripts, training, editing music, and gathering the props. I'm playing Wendla (the lead character) and directing. The girl playing Anna is the only one who shows up at practice, but she doesn't work well when the cast isn't complete. The girl playing Martha went home interstate for Chinese New Year because it's the only time of the year she gets to see her parents. The girl playing Ilse has IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and often misses practices due to sickness; but she never misses work teaching ballet classes. The girl playing Frau Bergmann is working for her mother in law's business, has marriage and financial problems, and is simply not in shape for performing the exam. Recently I dismissed Frau Bergmann from the team for her uncooperative behaviour and rewrote the script. She protested, said that I wasn't being fair for firing her instead of Martha, who is away. I told Frau that's because Martha had permission and we have planned to work around that; whereas Frau wasn't picking up nor returning phone calls, doesn't text unless she needs to vent out her personal problems, and she doesn't practice in her own time. I was supposed to talk to Frau privately today to make sure that we're kicking her out not grudgingly but to lift some weight off her and free her to deal with her personal problems first. To avoid misunderstanding, I didn't want to do it by phone or email so the earliest I could see her in person was today. However, Ilse already told Frau over the weekend that I no longer like her and want her out, so Frau wouldn't listen to any explanations from me and called Anna in front of me to ask her what I had told her. Frau also managed to talk to the lecturer before I did, so the lecturer ordered me to not kick her out. Now I want to kick out Ilse for not respecting my prerogative for communicating decisions, and this has messed up what little harmony was left in the group. Ilse has been missing practice as much as Frau has, but the only reason why I saved her was because she turned up last Friday when I issued her the final warning. Frau did not come but sent me 10 text messages with all her excuses, so she's dismissed, no questions asked. I gave Ilse another chance and she blew it. I need to communicate this to Ilse now because time is running out, but she is not picking up the phone. Today the doctor ordered total bed rest for her. Martha and Anna are waiting for the new, 4 actor version of the script to be e-mailed. However, since Ilse is no longer part of the team (none of these girls know yet), I think I should be modifying the script again to a 3 actor version. Should I email the 4 actor version anyway and apologise for additional modifications once we get to 3 actors? Or should I just email the 3 actor version and explain everything later? How do I make sure there's no hard feelings? All four girls, including Ilse and Frau are very good friends of mine, but I have to be fair with the teamwork. We're very tight knit; I just don't want this decision to create a rift in our friendship because this is like me pushing them off the cliff to fail the semester and re-enroll next year. Also, I don't want Martha and Anna to be intimidated by me and hate me for doing this to two of our best friends. Sure, I can explain to Anna in person tomorrow, but I won't be able to explain to Martha until she comes back on D-Day! And finally, how do I convince the lecturer to accept my decision? She's insisting that I should keep Ilse and Frau because in the real world I will work with difficult people, and the unity of the team is part of the tests will have to pass. This exam is no exception. But I disagree, because if actors in Broadway treat rehearsals the way Ilse or Frau do, I'm sure they'd be fired right away and the director would either replace them with new actors or write out their characters altogether; because it is the director's job to ensure that the show goes on no matter what. Please help. Thanks in advance. moreResolved Question: Should I feel guilty for taking money from my dad?
I was studying PhD with full scholarship from the university. I needed dental treatment and didn't have insurance. Talked with my dad overseas, he asked me to go home and get my teeth done and he said that he would pay for my ticket. I bought a ticket for $1400 with my own money, my dental treatment back home was $900, where in US, it would have been over $40,000. Anyways, on the way back my father gave me $4200 to have with me as I wanted to change my university and move to another city. Now the circumstances changed, my husband started a business here and changed his mind about moving. I have a baby with him, so I decided to stay with him regardless. As I already transferred my university, I couldn't go back anymore. So I decided to start up a business myself that I have been working on for years. My father is now shouting and screaming that I should leave my baby and my husband and move to another city to finish the PhD, he is calling me liar and puts me down alot and tells me that I am a joke for even thinking that my business is gonna work. My mother is trying to create guilt in me by saying that my father gave me that money for PhD and now he has every right to be angry and that it's my fault. The thing is, I haven't asked for money from my dad for 7 years. He is 60, his girlfriend is 29, my mom is 56 and her boyfriend is 29 also, they were divorced 15 years ago. I am 31 and my baby is 3. My father spent all his money on his young girlfriends all these years, now what's the deal here? Why do I have to listen to them or feel guilty? Anyways, I even offered to give him his money back now that the plans have changed, but he is only humiliating me and putting me down. moreResolved Question: WHy do people blame MNS when the real culprit is INC?
INC ruled india for 50 years. Why did govt let all the business in bombay alone. why not govt have urban planning that can limit development in bombay and spread the remaining development to neighboring cities and states. ? If neighboring states also has development, why would people go to mumbai all the way from bihar and out number maratis there ? Is it not the un even development that is driving masses to one place and creating problems. ? What is INC doing by sending Rahul to mumbai. Is it not cashing the grief of people, hiding the reality and enjoying the mess that it created. ?I do understand that mumbai has all the advantages. It was financial capital even before independence. That does not mean, the rest of states are useless. Every state has some advantages. I find it very difficult to see urban planning by indian govt any where. There should be limit on how high the building can be, there should be parking area around the building. There should be city limits. Cities should be spread out to avoid future congestion. There should be limit on how many people can live in city. I dont think, allowing all the migration and blaming it on the residents for resentment a wise move. I think govt should take some responsibility for lack of foresight. moreTop Business Plan Create Links
