The gamer plays Flo, a young lady who, after quitting her boring desk job, decides to be an entrepreneur and opens her own eating joint. The premise inside the restaurant might be very simple but the pace of the game is very fast. Dinner Dash (PSP) begins with some tutorials which educates the gamer about the nuances of starting a restaurant. Certain mandatory targets are fixed at the beginning of each day which need to be achieved and not doing so will end the game there in itself. The gamer has to take the customers to their table and when they finish reading the menu, the gamer has to go back there again and request for the order. The gamer goes to the kitchen and passes on the order to the cook and waits for the food to be prepared. Once the food is ready, the gamer has to go back to the table and serve. more

Leadership by Example

We are currently working with an entrepreneur who was trying to show his staff that in these lean times, he was really going to step up to the plate. He decided to let the building maintenance service go and do the work himself. He truly felt that this action would motivate his staff by demonstrating his willingness to pitch in and help out.

For the last three months, he has gotten up every Saturday morning, driven to the office and spent the day doing the cleanup. He really felt that this was a great way to show the staff that these cuts were serious and that he was willing to do his share.

In this case, however, the entrepreneur had crossed the line from good leadership to questionable leadership. While some of his staff is aware of his efforts, most have remained unaware (until they read this column, that is). more

Open Question: PHP how to store text values in existsing session structure?

Ok this is a bit of a tough one to describe - i basically have a shopping cart (session) which works fine. The structure is as follows: $_SESSION['cart'][(productid)][(pricingoption)] = $qty; so an example with product 4 and pricing option 3 might look like this: $_SESSION['cart'][4][3] = 1; As i say, this works great. I now want to add options which would generate dynamic text boxes per product. i.e. for business cards. In my database i have a field where i can store the initial fields like so "Name|Job Title|Telephone" these are then exploded to create the text boxes like so $options = explode("|",$data->options); foreach($options as $key=>$value){ #... GENERATE THE TEXT BOXES } Again this works fine. This is where i'm stuck - how can i get these values and store them in the above cart? Even if i could store them as an array. I am an independent contractor for a company and my job is to sell promotional products on a 100% commission basis. I am allowed to create my own company name and have my own business according to their contract (which I have done). So should I stop using my SSN for this business and get a TIN? I have expanded my business to a second location. They will be creating their own revenue and expenses, which I want to see, but all money goes into one bank account. Should I just add duplicate accounts in my chart of accounts and add the location name after it to distinguish between location A and B? EG Office Supplies Location A and Office Supplies Location B. Or should I do 2 sub accounts under Office Supplies? If I do sub accounts, will that provide me with a general total (with both locations) as well? Your recommendations are appreciated.Thanks Scott! Back in 2007 I had a company design a whole new website for my business. If I remember correctly I paid them about £1200 for this. I still have the site but have just further commissioned them to carry out some quite major changes on it for me- i.e.- all colours and massive update, this has also cost me a fair bit!! Last night I came across a site with the exact same template as mine, same old colours, basically up until a few months ago exactly the same as mine except for the content. The worst thing of all is that it has been deigned by my website company!!!! Have they totally ripped me off? I feel absolutely screwing that back in 2007 and my designer and I worked hard to create the right concept and he has now sold it onto someone else? The other company deals in the same business as me, obviously has a different name and is not in proximity or a threat to me. I feel more concerned that my website designer has done this and I just happed to come across it. I emailed him last night and he has confirmed that his company designed it but they did check her location and thought it was ok as she is based nowhere near me, I wouldn’t care if the site was based in Timbuktu, I feel that my website designer has ripped off what I thought was an original and creative website. Republican in trouble because he refuses to answer questions about rising unemployment during his term. Asked about it on live radio, he said, "It's true, we've lost 270,000 jobs but the rate has slowed." But the commentator slams him by pointing out that there were actually 350,000 jobs lost on the private sector, while 80,000 NEW ones were created -- guess where? IN TEXAS GOVERNMENT!!! Not exactly what you'd call your basic anti-big-government scenario. Eerie was the sidelight about the 'Tea Party Independent' candidate who, according to the commentary, lost her points and position when she appeared on the Glenn Beck radio show and was asked about US Government complicity in the events of 9/11. She said, "There's a lot of evidence, but I think it is premature to say it is sure." Guess what. Her viewpoint was TOO MODERATE! Heresy! OFF WITH HER HEAD! Now, you'd think that double-barreled fiasco would for sure be the top hypocrite story of the day. This budget proposal is too INWARD looking... the way i sees it, it's like fixing a problem or crowd pleasing probably to tame the disgrunt on the ground that was lately the talk of the town about foreigh talent, job security & the identity crisis for a Singaporean, so to speak... There are largely NO bold initiatives from this budget proposal to create new sectors & businesses hence job creation to drive the economy in the next 5 years plan. Sadly, the focus was all about spending $bils to drive productivity which i felt the result will not yield much impact if you spend that amount of money to create new sectors to value-add to the existing sectors contributing to the GDP. There is a limit to how productivity can yield positive results such as the construction sector the govt had name for instance...to put it bluntly, you cannot expect to compare productivity of japanese construction sector vis-a-vis spore's... simply because of cultural, mindset & attitude differences. Even if spore's construction productivity increases or benefited from such program, the yield won't be large. If that happens, that is simply MONEY NOT WELL SPENT. Initiatives, i sees fit, should be to invest the budget deficits to into new sectors such as "renewables", for instance. Renewables, a "big" term to be a step ahead to reduce Spore's carbon footprint which is excessively large by int'l standards. Renewables can be programs, subsidy to encourage new investments, training, manufacturing in these industries such as renewable energy (eg biofuel, biomass, wind & solar energy, development/r&d of green machines, green cars, boilers, plants/factories etc etc)... unimaginable prospects.... It could also harness, enhance, integrate & reinforce the existing sectors of the economy. It is high time Spore govt should detach their support for the Petroleum industries & companies & gradually tax these monopolies for the years of tax benefits they've massively enjoyed at the expense of the consumer here. This is in the context of petrol pump prices anyone can easily observed that it is operated like a cartel. Spore should allow diesel engines cars which are now cleaner with the current latest technologies which gives better mileage. Spore should also consider to gradually mandate the use of biodiesel/biofuel in the next 10-20yrs ahead to set example to the int'l world that a small country can also do it's part to sustain the future environment. Unfortunately, our govt budget 2010 proposal from the look of it, is too busy with those trivial domestic issues & largely ignored the bigger issues & missed the big picture totally. This will be detrimental to the well being of spore govt coffers of not spending it wisely... hope debates by the MPs & Ministers able to put together a budget that is more laden with initiatives to set new engine of growth for the economy.. more

Supremacy of the Military Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized. 5. Rampant Sexism The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy. 6. Controlled Mass Media Sometimes the media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common. 7. Obsession with National Security Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses. 8. Religion and Government are Intertwined Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions. 9. Corporate Power is Protected The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite. 10. Labor Power is Suppressed Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed. 11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts. 12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. Resolved Question: psychotic "business partner"- help?

So my boyfriend and his business partner just went to a fashion trade show, in which their line was picked up by bloomingdales and nordstrom. Here's the catch, my boyfriend is the artist and the only thing nordstrom and bloomingdales picked up was his artwork (on shirts) - none of the combined designs of wovens and button-ups they created together. His business partner has created more problems than anything else during the duration of their 4-month long business relationship. They do not have a contract and the only thing he owns is the LLC for the name but that's easily fixed with "re-branding." Long story short his business partner is threatening to get his attorney involved because he believes he has ties to all of this- my boyfriend had already agreed to give him a percentage of the orders but after that they part ways, so him bringing a lawyer into this is him trying to use a scare tactic, correct? My boyfriend is the artist, all of his art is copy-written, so there is no way he can take him to court for this right? There is NO contract between the two of them. I believe it's a scare tactic because his "business partner" knows he wont get anywhere without him now... advice anyone? more

The very rich Americans who are retrenching workers/closing their businesses are the ones complaining about incumbent govt job creation. If the economy is left to collapse, these republicans are the very same people that will cry woes. Stimulus package was done in other countries just like in USA. Hello and welcome to EYAF V2 Onslaught! *Huge pyro to open off the show* *Theme song "Light It Up" by Rev Theory plays through the arena* The owner of EYAF V2 comes out to the ring, he welcomes everyone to the return of one of the best feds ever created! He says that tonight all signed superstars shall be used and then after the show they will be split into the main roster and the development roster. He says that our first ppv will be "War-Time" four weeks from now. He then introduces the competitors of the first match, which will be competed under Extreme Rules and will be for the X-Treme Title. Match 1- Extreme Rules Match - X-Treme Championship Prasdana vs Amazing X Result: Amazing X picks up the victory when he hits a flying corkscrew over the top rope and onto Prasdana who is on the arena floor. He then sets up a table against the security barrier and then hits a hurricanerana and sends Prasdana straight into the table. He drags Prasdana back into the ring and covers him for the three count. New X-Treme Champion=Amazing X Amazing X is now immune from the draft and shall be placed on the Onslaught roster. The GM of Onslaught comes down to the ring and adresses the issue of what if competitors tonight win a championship but then they are drafted to the developmental brand? He says that if a competitor wins a title tonight, unless it is the tag titles because they can be defended on both brands, that superstar automatically earns the right to remain on Onslaught and will not be a party of the draft. *Member of the original EYAF, Twister, is seen backstage. He says that it is good to be back and he plans on reclaiming his throne here in EYAF by winning the world title. But then Dylan klein walks up to him and says that as long as he is around, Twister will not be wearing that world title.* Match 2 -Tag team match - Tag Team Titles The Jamesaw and Nigey McBonez vs Kawajai and Risky Business Result: Kawajai and Risky Business steal the victory when Nigey McBonez gets the tag while the ref is busy with Risky. When the ref sees Nigey in the ring he starts arguing to tell him to get out of the ring. Then behind the ref’s back Kawajai and Risky hit their double team finisher on Jamesaw and Risky gets the pin. New Tag Team champions= Kawajai and Risky Business Kawajai and Risky Business are not immune from the draft as the tag titles can be defended on both brands. *The Titan-Tron turns on and it shows a graphic for the developmental brand, which will be run by Blue voodoo King, it shows the logo for it and reveals the name of the show. The name of the developmental brand shall be FS Coloseum, Future Star Coloseum!* Match 3 - No Limits Championship - Ladder Match Mike Adams vs Blue Voodoo King vs Richard Kingston vs Jayjay Helterbrand Result: The match comes down to Mike Adams and Richard Kingston, they both climb the ladder brawling when they reach the top. Richard Kingston gets the upper hand when he smashes Mike Adams’ face into the top of the ladder. He then lifts his leg high and kicks Mike in the face, Mike then falls to the floor. Richard reaches to the belt and pulls it down. New No Limits Champion= Richard Kingston Richard Kingston is now immune from the draft and shall be placed on the Onslaught roster. Match 4 - Winner receives immunity from the draft Brick Brock vs Y2J Result: The match comes to an end when Y2J connects with his patented move the lionsault on Brick Brock, but Brick Brock tries to counter by putting his knees in the way of the lionsault. But this counter is countered by Y2J who grabs Brick Brock’s legs and locks in the Walls Of Jericho, this makes Brock tap out. Y2J is now immune from the draft and shall be placed on the Onslaught roster. *The GM of Onslaught comes out to the ring again and hypes the main event, which is up next!* Main Event - World Title Match - No DQ - No Count Out King Cliff vs The Twister vs Dylan Klein vs Shazam McAmazing Result: The Twister is just about to pick up the victory on King Cliff after he hits the Rock Bottom, but Shazam hits a legdrop from the top rope onto Twister who is making the cover. Shazam then grabs Twister and throws him out of the ring, but out of no where Dylan Klein runs up behind Shazam and hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the three count. New World Heavyweight Champion= Dylan Klein Dylan Klein is now immune from the draft and shall be placed on the Onslaught roster. After the match Dylan runs up the ramp holding the world title above his head. Twister stands up and stares down with Dylan before turning to Shazam, he starts to beat down on Shazam screaming at him saying he cost him the match. Eventually security run down to the ring and pulls Twister away from Shazam and took him backstage. more
