Chrysler gets specific about this whole lease business

We're not sure how many lease backers that leaves, but the ones remaining will likely be forced to raise lease prices, much like Ford has done with its truck and SUV leases, to protect themselves from losing tons of money when vehicles leased today are eventually turned back in. The second point made by Schorr is that all current leases are not affected and their lease terms will remain in effect. Well we would hope so! Third is that Chrysler Financial will waive the disposition fee if a current lease owner decides to buy his or her vehicle at the end of the lease term. When my first book, "Marketing to Women," was published in 2003, I'd get invited to speak at corporations by their emerging-markets teams -- those poor souls charged with influencing 84% of the population (blacks, Hispanics, Asians and now women) with 5% of the budget. They brought me in to explain to their management that women are not an "emerging" market. At 51% of the population, they're actually the majority market and make fully 80% of consumer spending decisions. Chapter 1 Snow. It was something you didn't see often in Los Angeles, California. At least I was pretty sure that it was rare. I sighed to myself as I stared out the window towards the ocean. I hadn't lived here very long, so what could I say about the weather. I groaned as the school bell rung and I took my seat in the very center of the room. Science. It was my worst subject, in fact I was never really ever good at things like Math or Science. I was much more of a creative person, I liked to read, write, sing, play piano. I smiled when I thought of the dance class that I would be starting today. My older sister Jennifer practically had to drug me in order for me to say yes to the whole thing. I loved dancing, don't get me wrong but ever since my parents were murdered and I had moved to California to live with Jenna, things had changed and it didn't feel right, I didn't feel right about asking Jenna to pay for it, but she just smiled and promised me that it was no big deal and that she could easily afford it. Suddenly a teachers voice rung out and I was shaken from my daze. “ Good Morning! I hope everyone here has finis...” This is when I began to tune her out. Not intentionally of course but it was not like I was really trying to stay focused. I glanced out the window again to see that snow was no longer falling and the sun was peeking behind the scattered clouds. I groaned and all of the eyes in the room turned in my direction. At first I hadn't noticed how much of a disruption I had made, but before long my attention was directed in the way of the teacher. The teacher cleared her throat as she glared at me from across the room. “ Is there something the matter, Miss Marxx.” I glanced at the playboy bunny look alike and sighed deeply. “ No, Ms. Thomson, I apologize.” She nodded and turned back to the white board to write down my name underneath the Detention slot. She merely glanced at me to see if I had caught her drift and I nodded. Then she quickly erased my name and began on with her lesson. The jocks in front of me laughed as the cheerleaders to the right smirked in my direction. They giggled to one another and whispered into each others ears. I had understood what Ms. Thomson had meant, they however had not understood this piece of important information. The rest of the day passed by quickly enough and soon the last bell had rung and I dashed my way towards my locker in attempt to arrive at it before my locker mate Amanda did. Mandy was a rude, skinny, cheerleader, with long platinum blonde hair and brown eyes. I really didn't think that she was something to gawk at, but people did, all of the time. Mandy approached slowly as her boyfriend, quarter back Donny Mitchell intertwined their fingers. Instantly I felt the urge to vomit. As if that wasn't bad enough, her outfit was simply atrocious and was defiantly not something you should let a child wear in a catholic school Mandy smirked as Donny touched her butt as she leaned down to get stuff out of her locker. I cringed and glanced away as I pulled my plain black shoulder bag across my chest. “ Have fun tonight, Savanah.” I grimaced as she walked away unfazed by what she had just said. My fist tightened and I slammed my locker door causing it to make a loud bang though out the empty hallway. I closed my eyes softly and took a deep breath before I preceded to run my hands through my naturally curly red hair. My blue eyes scanned the parking lot for Jenna's 2004 Red Corvette. It wasn't there, as expected from my older sister. Jenna and her business partner Alicia ran the hottest nightclub in the west side of Los Angeles. Therefore her day pretty much consisted of sleeping until eight at night and then going to sleep at seven in the morning. It was a hectic life but Jenna should handled it well. I smiled when I thought about it. My mother had always told me that we were night owls, all three of us. My eyes saddened as I thought about my older brother Matthew. He had just disappeared the night our parents were murdered. It was odd, but in a way this was the thing that kept me living day to day. Matt hadn't died, well at least he wasn't found when the police searched the house for his body. I smiled thinly as I walked across the busy LA street. Even though it was slit, my brother could still be alive and that was the one thing I prayed for every night. “Jenna, I'm home!” I screamed as I flopped my bag in the living room. No answer. I sighed and tip toed past a sleeping Jenna so I could put my converse in my closet. Slowly I made my way into the bathroom to observe the crazy mess that I called my hair. It was curly alright, every single piece of it. I glanced at my eyes and shuttered as a chilled breeze entered the room. I set down the mirror in my hand to place my hand on the paint covered mirror that was hanging above the sink. “Jenna, why don't you just take the mirror down, instead of painting over it?” Jenna shook her hethank you for answering! :) more

Open Question: Should I report to this institution or company about an employee that is falsely identifying themselves?

I decided to ask here because I know this board has a diverse amount of opinion. Very long story short… I wanted to enroll my child at an institution that specifically deals with certain educational problems during the summer break. (I will not name the institution here for privacy at the moment). I met an “employee” at random of that company once on an outing to a local restaurant/bar/dance hall with my husband. She openly bragged she was a teacher and very important. This woman instantly raised my alarm with her inadequacies and extremely ignorant actions. I though this woman can’t possibly be a teacher. Well, she was a disgusting mess and with a foul mouth. I got her name and we excused ourselves to our friends on the other side of the restaurant. I decided to do some further research on this “teacher” with my resources through my Company (where I work). Turns out she does not have a College degree or a HS diploma. How can an education institution hire someone without a degree to be a teacher, let alone not having a HS diploma? This institution prides itself on its well educated instructors. They are presented as all licensed teachers with Bachelor degrees and many with Masters Degrees. I would not have intended to pay this much money to send my child to a center that has people who can’t even pass HS teaching. I suspect she is just an aid. Then while doing a background search through my company’s resources, I found her facebook page where she blatantly says she is a teacher and more. I would be appalled if a low tier employee of my company was running around in the public saying they were something more in the social order of our company and was making a poor example of our business. Should I contact the Institution and let them know about this employee action? My husband and I including a friend that was with us have decided to not enroll our children here for further education during the summer. Even if this woman is just a teacher’s aid, we saw enough to realize that this company does not screen its employs well enough. Would you report to the company when you withdraw your contract that it is due to the fact that a low tier employee is falsely representing herself (I sure hope she is, and she is not truly a teacher without a HS or College degree) and has sullied the company’s image to two prospective clients? I would want to know if someone was ruining my company’s image like this from prospective clients and contracts. more

Voting Question: Has anyone heard of brookmere capital in Conneticut or gotten a loan from them?

30 December 2009 I had applied for a personal loan at several on-line sites last week, and was turned down. I received a call from a man with a slight accent purporting to be from Brookmere Capital named Andy Lovato. He offered me a loan at 9% for $ 7,500 dollars at $ 136.00 a month for five years if I would either send him $ 816 for the payments for the first six months of the loan (via Western Union) or $ 1,600 for loan insurance for the life of the loan. I found http://www.brookmerecaptital.com on line. The website lists the address as 8 Colonial Avenue, Middlebury, Connecticut 06762 as the address. I then searched yahoo maps and looked at a satellite map (with overlay) revealing that address to be a private home adjacent a forested area along Colonial Avenue in Middlebury, Connecticut. I then checked the yellopages.com business listings for Middlebury, Connecticut. There is no listing for Brookmere Capital. I then amortized a loan at 9 % with the $ 816 pre-payment and found the loan to be $ 138 a month (vice 136.00). I then called the telephone number listed on the Brookmere Capital website, 1-877-705-0318 and listened to a recorded message from the guy (Andy Lovato) who had originally called me. The message asked I leave a number at which he could call back. So I am perplexed. I never applied for a loan from this company. He said he would send me an email with the loans details/contract, etc. I received the promised email this morning and have attached it to this message. I have not sent money to this company, nor have I answered the email. What really got me to investigating this was the Brookmere Capital representative informing me I could send him the $ 816 loan pre-payment fee via Western Union. Western Union does not provide refunds nor investigate the parties receiving money. I believe it is illegal for companies doing business by phone in the U.S. to promise you a loan and ask you to pay for it before they deliver the loan. I fear this may not be a legitimate business whose only purpose is to separate me from my money or steal my identity ? more

Voting Question: Why is my blog is getting more hits than website?

I have had a blog for a little over a year and recently published a new website. When using a search engine with my business name (allenaim photography) all of the hits are for the blog (allenaim.blogspot.com) and the website (allenaim.com) does not show up. Am I missing a step to get my website to come up when customers search?? Do I just need to wait? alright so i live in bradenton, florida and the economy has really hit it hard here and its tough to find a job anywhere. Im 18 years old and literally have no money....and no matter where i look i cant find a job anywhere! Ive been trying to find a job for almost 2 years and i admit ive stopped searching in some cases completely because of school and other priorities, but ive applied pretty much everywhere i can thats near my location however heres the real problem: because i dont have a job, my parents wont allow me to have a car.....but most of my friends have landed jobs because they have the mobility to go around town and pick up application or drop them off and have interviews whenever they please...i dont have that opportunity....all i can do is lay at home and call these places every two days saying the same exact thing everytime " Hi my name is ____ and i recently dropped off an application and i im calling to see if you are possibly hiring"----which is sort of a lie because I didnt drop off my application, my dad did.....which i dont think leaves a very good impression since it makes me look kind of lazy to the employer. They told me that the books I had purchased were now ready for print, and asked me which school is was I would be nominating for sponser. However the woman sounded very convincing and insisted that I had agreed and that we owed £259 for 20 books or something like that. I asked where the business was located and had no response. I hung up and went onto Google to type this company name in.. the 2nd search suggestion Google came up with was 'Smithson Publications scam'. I clicked into this and found ALOT of people posting near exact stories and that the company works under several names. Ironically my younger brother was given an interview/work trial last week aswel.. with this company! I would like to better know my rights as a pedestrian walking around at night. Very often I am stopped and questioned by police and I find it irritating and rude. I don't think I should have to be harassed when I am clearly minding my own business and there is no reason to suspect a crime. All of these questions have to do with a random police stop, without any cause for concern or suspicion as to any sort of criminal activity. So what I want to know is a few things: I. Do I legally have to give my name to the police officer if he asks me? Do I legally have to provide identification to him upon request? Does this change if I am being detained? Will refusing to give my identification get me detained? II. Do I have to tell him what I am doing? Where I am going? Where I came from? I hate answering these questions and if I tell them I walking just for the sake of walking, I get even more questions. III. Can a police officer cite "suspicion" just because I deny giving my information? Can I then be detained for refusing to comply with his questioning? Can I be further harassed and/or searched? I'd like to think I have a reasonable defense with the fourth amendment. IV. Is it illegal to tape record conversations with police officers when they randomly stop you? Do I have to notify them that they are being recorded? Can I videotape them? Do I have to comply if they ask me to turn it off?Interesting, but what if I ask outright the first question: "What is the nature of this stop?" I've had a windows mobile phone of some sort for the last 4 years, and the app that I used most often on them was LIVE SEARCH which recently changed to BING. Well, I just switched to and the HTC Hero which is Android, not WM. I've been using a couple of different apps on my Hero to get the same functionality as what LIVE SEARCH / BING had, including: Voice Search, Google Maps, Bing Pro (which isn't the real BING) and have tried others. Does anyone know of anything like it available on Android. I like to type in the name of a place/business and have it pull up the closest ones by GPS location, give me the phone number, the address, and have the option to show on a map and get directions. LONG STORY!!! To sum it up AS BEST I CAN, We signed a lease with a property management company because the owner said that is who he wants to go through.After finding NUMEROUS illegal things in the house that needed to be fixed, such as illegal wiring, broken heaters, falling trees, etc.. the property management company said they had no obligation and would not be fixing those. We fixed them and said we would take it off the rent.. after that last communication, they went MIA. Completely dissapeared along with the owner. The neighbors came up to us and asked who we signed the lease with because they had been trying to get ahold of the owner for years regarding issues with the house. After making aquantencis with them, they said that the police had come to their house and asked that if anything weird happened, to call them. The neighbors admitted they had called everytime they saw a car because the police themselves said that we have a chop shop and were drug dealers. They told us that the police had said to them that the owner never let us live there and that we were criminals! The owner made daily false police reports claiming we were drug addicts, prositutes, and were running a chop shop. This was all in the days following their dissapearance. The cops really beleived this and harrassed us for months proceeding to do SO MANY illegal things! Code enforcement got involved and started siting us for the owner's unrepaired house. We could not afford to move without our security deposit and stayed there for a month and a half after the property management went missing! Finally, the night before we were to move, the cops busted down the door with a search warrant. They arrested my mother on charges of tampering with the utilites, utility theft, and nuisense charges. One mistermeanor and two felonies. Because of the illegal wiring and because the neighbors called EVERYDAY but only because the police had told them to. They red tagged the house dangerous and said the only way we could get anything out was to contact the owner, which we couldn;t. FINALLY, I called the police department and they contacted the owner. The owner told him that he never rented the house, that we were squatters, and that he had already filed eviction papers with the court, which is false. Having to talk to us through the police, we set up 7 different appointments on 7 different occasions with the owner to get our things. The first 4, we brought a friend with a moving truck.. but also, those first 4 times, he neglected to show up. The last two times we were able to get into the house, EVERYTHING was already removed. Even the copper fromn the pipes were pulled out. There was a pile in the middle of the living room that had gasoline poured on it.. and burned matches. The antique cars were stripped and stolen. ALL of the important paperwork, such as SS cards, birth certificates, pictures, cards, etc... everything was gone! The house was never locked up and upon asking the owner WHY, he said, "It isn't my responsibility to keep your things safe." Then he told us that he was charging us for clean up of the house and for storage for anything of worth. Nothing, now. He even informed us that he had already allowed numerous people on the property to retrieve things. But he wouldn't tell us who.. and the only person on the lease was my mother. After researching a little bit, I found that him along with about 20 other family members and a completely seperate family had been in the fraud business a long time. They own 10+ companies all of which have been taken to court for several different things. Most of which, were bad checks, contract breach, theft, and workers comp fraud. However, it seems that whenever they think they will be in trouble and their things will be taken, they transfer their belongings to another family member or the seperate family. Also, they seem to slip the law by slightly changing their names. IE: Aleksandr to Alexander. Here's what makes this interesting. My mom has ALL the supporting documents to sue. She has emaisl to the property management, emails to the owner, the lease, pictures, etc. ALL of which are contradicting to what the owner told the police. I can't seem to find a lawyer at all! When looking at sites like Go Daddy, iPage, etc... these all advertise things like free domain for life or 3.95/month. I was looking for trainee financial jobs, and somehow Employer UK got my details. They emailed me saying my CV matched some of their positions. I was a bit confused as i did not recognise their name, but their jobs sounded perfect and excellent money too. I was suspicious when i got a call from a guy calling himself alex townsend from employer uk. He was waffling on about a potential employer, but i needed to show i had started studying a relelvant course. Luckily, i know the usual examiner for these qualifications and the price, so what they were saying did not add up. He was very pushy, and said he needed some card details to get things moving. He continued to call me, and got more and more pushy. He then emailed saying a potential employer was saying they would cover the remainder of my study skills. They also said if i did not get a job within 6 monhs i'd get my money back. Luckily i had the sense to google these people and it came up as a scam in several web forums. I contacted the police, he ran a search on the address they give on their website. No business is registered there, and employer uk are not registered at all with companies house. Do not give any money to these disgusting people - you'll never see it again and they'll likely drain your account. Voting Question: How to investigate a possible scam artist?

I recently met someone via a well known online dating site. I have not met him face to face as he is in the UK. I have spoken to him on the phone (and both of the numbers he gave me are UK numbers). He has called me and I have called him, so that has not been one sided. He has not asked me for money as of yet. The problem is this. He is supposedly travelling to Malaysia for 2 weeks for business (he even gave me a Malaysian phone number for him while he is there). He asked me to access his bank account for him as he was having problems doing so. I did this, albeit very reluctantly. I did not keep his actual 'account' information, but I did attempt to research the bank name that was on the site because I felt so strange about the whole experience. I could not find the bank name anywhere. I went back to the site and looked around and discovered that the bank was supposedly a tradename of a larger company. I then searched for that company. I located it and there is a bank that is affiliated with them. I went to the legit site and it looked EXACTLY like the site he sent me to with the only difference being the name of the bank. I sent an email to the 'contact us' address on the legitimate site asking if the other site was a legitimate site of theirs as well and included the link. The interesting thing about sending the email is that yahoo would not allow it to be sent but hotmail allowed me to send it after entering the required security code for preventing spam. I have not received a response from the bank as of yet. Is there any other ways that I can go about investigating? Or anything else that I should be on the lookout for? The man seems very nice, but I have heard so many horror stories about scams happening to folks that I want to be very careful! A police investigator called my mom and dad's house and said that someone had been using their address as a registered business address online and do not deliver the products. My mom told him it's nobody from her house. My 27 year old brother and my parents are the only ones who live there and my brother was home at the time. The investigator even told my mom it's illegal to sell online, she believed him, but I told her he's lying. The cop made it sound like this "so-called" business had done so many fraudulent transactions and even said that they sold an Ipod for $200 but the customer never received it. And that's why they are conducting an investigation. He told my mom that he will be coming over to ask some questions. My mom then called me and informed me of what's going on. My mom has a thick accent, btw. They live in a very nice neighborhood with nice and big homes. So anyway, when she told me the things the cop told her, it didn't really make any sense to me. First, if this business used their address and made some business transactions online, I am almost 100% the local law enforcement or the FBI as he called themselves, would be able to track down the IP address of the suspect and the bank account in which they were paid to would also be easily traced. So they came to my parents house and asked to see their computers. Which I thought was also weird because by searching their computers, it looked to me like they are making my family a suspect, but they never read them their rights to remain silent and have lawyer present. He also saw some big boxes in the house (my mom shops for her sister who lives overseas and some are Christmas presents) and the cop rudely asks my mom for the receipts. I am infuriated inside, after she told me this. She don't know much about her legal rights and stuff like that. She and my dad are very nice, hard-working people who thinks the cops or someone in a higher position of power can do whatever they want. She also said he mentioned my name and asked if I used to live there. Well, duh. That irritated me more. I live in the same town, they should know that. It was obvious to me that they were there for something else, not this Ipod business. I asked her for the cop's name and number to get things straight. So I asked him what's going on and what is this thing that they're investigating. He said that someone used my parents' address to conduct a business online but never sent the product. GET THIS, I ASKED HOW MANY TRANSACTIONS WERE DONE, HE SAID ONE! A $200 iPod was sold online under a business name with their address. I asked for the business name and he couldn't even give me the full name of this SO-CALLED fraudulent business. I asked him why couldn't they just track the perpetrator through the IP address, he said that's why he needed to check out their computer, so they can see if it matches. ??? With today's technology, I know they could trace the physical location of the other IP address. Then I asked why couldn't they trace the bank account the money was deposited to, he paused and stuttered a little and said "the way it was done, was different". He said he apologize if he scared my mom and that it's probably nothing from the house. I confirmed it again that it's not from their home. (I really think he was lying) So can anyone please tell me if this scenario sounds fishy to you also? If someone buys a 200 dollar item online, the next step is to dispute it with your credit card company, not conduct a police investigation (he even said they're FBI). I know that for a fact, at least. Especiall when he added that the transaction occurred just one or two weeks ago. It's a lie and I want to know how I can find out their real motive and how we can file a complaint for privacy and legal rights violation. And you're right it's not 2001 anymore, there are so many other ways of finding out who that person is. And you cannot get a police order if the transaction is only 2 weeks prior. Even Ebay don't do their own investigation within such an early time frame. And in order for you to get paid online, you need a bank account. They could have traced that first. But as we refer the company name to others, they are asking for the company website or email as they are not able to find the company reference online, we currently do not have a website. I am 20 and my GF is 15, I am in Georgia. I was just minding my own business. We are known to the neighbood as we are together. 2 of my neighbors kept giving me dirty looks. I just ignored Her. there names is Sandy and donna Then one day I got a knock at my door from the police, they said Sandy saw the blinds opened as said we were having sex, they she caught us. I said nothing. The police officer asked me If I had sex with her, and I told him none of his business. He asked me again, and I told him none of his business, and he was violating my rights. He left.. for now. Three days later, He came back with a search warrent, They were looking inside for condoms, they didnt find any. Then they took my GF against her will and made her write a statement. She said sandy is making up lies. They then took my GF also against her will to the local hospital and made her take a rape test. Stuff at home isn't working out for me. i recently ran away to stay with a couple of my homeless homies of mine. When he returns he finds out that somebody came and kidnapped his youngest brother(age 6). The other children describe the person who kidnapped their bro, and THE boy figures it was the man whome he saved the girl from. He looks for his bro all around and finally finds him dead at the bottom of a cliff( where he was thrown off from). He cries and eventually swears revenge. He's not so nice from then on. He decides he's going to go to Mexico City and get a "real job" so they can start all over, away from the village, but first he needs to make some money. he leaves his siblings in the home of a trustworthy neighbor lady who agrees to look after them for a while. I know this is a long story, but please be patient and read it because I could really use some advice that will change my life. I am contemplating breaking up with my boyfriend. I am 22 years old and have been with him for seven years (since I was 15). He was 17 when we first started dating. Just to give you some background, we met at summer camp as counselors. We went to separate colleges in the same city. He graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and I am in my last year of college and will get a Bachelor’s Degree in English. We moved in together when I was 19 and he was 21. Everything was great when we were kids- no responsibility, constant fun, and it felt like the real thing (as it always does when you’re naive and 15). We have shared so many great experiences together and my entire, but short, adult life has been shaped by my time with him. I feel like I have to thank him for helping me be the person that I have become, as I am happy with who I am. If we were to not be together, I would have to put the last seven years of significant experiences in the back of my mind because it would break my heart to think about them. We have shared a home together, bought and raised pets together, went on vacations together, and always felt safe together. It was always my opinion that we had a healthy relationship. We had our heated arguments, but we have never laid a hand on each other. He graduated from college in 2008 and I thought it would really be the beginning of our permanent future. I thought that I would get a ring that year and live together as a couple for several years until we decided to have children- far into the future. He was still working at his part time job from college. I thought maybe the recession was giving him problems with his career search. I began to notice that he wasn’t even putting in job applications. It’s been a year in a half since he’s graduated, and he hasn’t even had an interview. In October 2008, I gave him a loan of $2,000 to pay off his credit card. I thought if I helped him with this, he might feel confident enough about his future and he would eventually ask to marry me. (A lot of times lack of money is the reason people cannot get married). That $2,000 was actually a loan that I took out for college expenses, it was not my money originally, it is a loan to me with interest. Last year he said he would work hard and get a job so that he could pay off my credit card to show his gratitude. Needless to say, he never got a job and has never given me a dime. We just moved out of our apartment a month ago because we could not afford it anymore. He got fired from his part time job in 2008 and never got another one. He is a graphic artist, so he spends most of his time doing free work local musicians, producers, and business owners. He does not ask for payment, so he does not get payment. I have told him countless times that he needs to ask for payment for his work, but he says “in the art world, you work for free and get your name out there, and it will eventually pay off.” Well a year and a half is a little too long for me. At least he could work on the side. Since I am a full time student, we could not live off of my part time job. He put all of the responsibility on me. He would never even write a personal check for a utility company, let alone mail it in. I worked my ass off in school and work. He did almost nothing at home, but refused to clean the apartment, clean a dish, or even just pick up after himself. I cannot even express how much communication I attempted in order to change things. I tried so hard to make him happy, hoping he would naturally strive for my happiness. Two months prior to putting in our 30 day notice to the apartment manager, I told my boyfriend that we would have to move out because we could not afford it anymore. Still, he did not get off his butt and get a job. It seems like he did not care enough about living with me, or else he would have taken action. The news article says an image (manipulated to make the face of Michelle Obama look like a monkey) was posted on a blog called "Hot Girls" (may have been removed), but currently the website linked to the gross image is a forum that's ridiculously over-the-top anti-government. The thread that was supposed to have contained the image reads like it was written by a Timothy McVeigh, or maybe the person you'd see at a G8 summit riot. Big quotes from civil rights leaders and news of their assasinations, lots of talk about "globalist pigs" and the government using "psychotechnology," mind control programs, social engineering, etc. The moderators of the forum apparently removed the image because it's no longer there, but Google thinks it's appropriate to leave it up on image search, apparently in the name of freedom of speech. Now a serious problem with my website and need a very fast reply from an expert. I have my own domain but my web hosting service is from 110mb which is a free. So my free hosting website is mysubdomain.110mb.com (I didn't want to spam here). Now the problem arises: I set DNS name servers to my free website and linked them. So my new domain- mydomain.com points to mysubdomain.110mb.com I submitted mydomain.com to google a week back and the Google robots crawled my website and indexed them. Unfortunately I resubmitted my url mydomain.com few days back. But for the past few days I dont find mydomain.com in the google search engine rather there are cached pages from mysubdomain.110mb.com Now my question is- Is my website mydomain.com takes longer to be indexed because i resubmitted my website? (or) Is my website mydomain.com been penalised because of the duplicate content? (that is my own website mysubdomain.110mb.com that really points to mydomain.com) I guess it should be the second case because I saw some posts in 110mb forum as such. Now can any body help me out to resolve this problem? I do not want google to index my sub domain with 110mb rather I want mydomain.com to be placed again. What can i do? This was dawning of a new era in society, as through cyberspace people from all over the world had found a faster, easier, and more convenient way to communicate. Through this new foundation sprouted dating sites for those looking for love, and the technological ability to hold video conferences between companies, even if they were oceans away from each other. Someone from another country was just a click away, instead of a whole continent. The discovery of the world of the Internet made obtaining information much quicker. Typing in just about anything in a search engine will bring up results, pages with information of the desired subject. Among the pages are sites of information by normal people. Someone who is looking for an answer to a question can probably find their answer simply by looking through the sites the search engine recommends. People can ask anonymous, or whom they believe to be highly qualified, people online the answers that they seek immediately. Websites such as Yahoo! Answers and AskMe.com provide the option of asking questions, sharing opinions, and receiving immediate answers and feedback. Marcus Arnold, who many believed to be an expert on legal issues and even qualified, was asked questions everyday from people wishing for an answer right away. Examples of these questions were ‘what is a felony?’ or ‘what happens if I get sued?’ or just about anything else regarding legal dealings. Marcus Arnold disguised himself as the twenty year old man named Justin Anthony Wyrick, Jr. To Marcus, these were simple questions. Often, the public is notified about an older man who had become a sexual predator online, or about a young girl being sexually solicited. Their aim is to hurt these innocent children and gain their own personal satisfaction. Cyber bullying is also a serious problem. A particular example is about a young girl by the name of Megan Meier who committed suicide after being bullied via the Internet. The 13-year old girl had begun a relationship online with a boy named Josh. “He” built up a relationship with Megan until suddenly ending their friendship, saying that he had heard bad things about her and that she was cruel. Megan committed suicide and died the very next day. It turned out that there was no Josh. A neighbor had disguised herself as the young boy to bully Megan and gain the confidence from the girl to see what she had been saying about the woman’s own child. It is quite sad that the Internet can be so useful and yet so dangerous. There are too many cases of cyber bullying, and some even ending like Megan’s did. Also, there are too many sexual predators online to even call it “safe” enough to let children on. Regardless, the future is online. Information that is important and significant is online. Communication is now proportionally online. The established cyberculture has brought about many good, even great things. Examples are blogs, web cams, mp3s, confidence in ourselves, information, connections with other people, and so much more. In a great resource, there are still the bad. It’s just unfortunate that people have to learn to sort out the good and the horrible. more

For four years I have been stalked and harassed d by an individual. He phones, emails, follows me, and now has started posting abusive and untrue articles on the internet about me. I have now reported him to the police, they have charged him under the Harassment Act S1. My solicitor has managed to get the sites that we know about, where he has written about me, to remove the offending articles. BUT, if you google my name and my business, the headers come up. He posted a question on Yahoo answers about me which appears to have been deleted immediately, however if you google my name and my business, this heading comes up! It is extremely damaging and I am anxious that it is removed before any more hurt is caused. My daughter has moved out of the family home because she is so frightened of what is going to happen next, this guy is so unpredictable and unstable. I am 22 and my GF is 16, I am in Tx. I was just minding my own business. We are known to the neighbood as we are together. One of my neighbors kept giving me dirty looks. I just ignored Her. Her name is Sandy. Then one day I got a knock at my door from the police, they said Sandy saw the blinds opened as said we were having sex, they she caught us. I said nothing. The police officer asked me If I had sex, and I told him none of his business. He left.. for now. Three days later, He came back with a search warrent, They were looking inside for condoms, they didnt find any. Then they took my GF against her will and made her write a statement. She said sandy is making up lies. They then took my GF also against her will to the local hospital and made her take a rape test. I was arrested. The results came up negitive. Charged were dropped against me. I filed a complaint with the police that Sandy filed a false report. She was arrested, and recieved probation. I was furious. I contacted the ACLU and told them everything that happened and how i felt my rights and my gfs rights were violated., ACLU called the police station and threatened a lawsuit, unless they give her jail time. She went to court, found guilty and give her 3 years in jail and 3 years probation. Again, I was just miding my own business, and she harassed me, and made up lies, I even warned her to stop, what was i suppost to do? more
