President Kufuor petitioned to curb takeover of local

Members of the Indigenous Pharmaceutical Business Association have petitioned the President to intervene in curbing the systematic takeover of Ghana�s domestic pharmaceutical distribution network by foreign companies. They say in recent times foreign entities have invaded the pharmaceutical industry and are gradually taking over, adding that if nothing is done now, it will not be long before the indigenous pharmaceutical business goes under.

Presenting a petition to President Kufuor at the Castle, the Acting President of the Association, Ernest Bediako Sampong, called on government to consider initiating a legislation to limit direct marketing and distribution of pharmaceutical products to Ghanaians only.

For his part, President Kufuor said in view of the nature of the pharmaceutical industry, the petition will be referred to the appropriate institutions for review and recommendations. more

Board approves new businesses for Vineyards of Frankfort Plaza

The most recent PUD change comes as First Bank has changed its business model to construct smaller branch facilities, citing current market trends as the reason. The major PUD change before the board on July 21 was to decrease the footprint of the building by approximately 1,000 square feet.

Trustee Todd Morgan asked the item be removed from the consent agenda and during discussion on the issue said that he didn't think the project provided the best benefit for the site from a sales tax revenue standpoint and that a retail business might be a better choice.

"We've fought for very high standards (with out banks)," Morgan added. "I was tentative on it in the first place because of the size of the small outlot. It is a good fit, but we are going from 4,000 to 3,000 square feet and I think it sets the wrong precedent and gives the indication that we are going to start having drive-up banks. more

Area businesses will offer online Keno lottery Aug. 4

In an attempt to raise profits and bring gambling into the digital age, 210 businesses in Portage, Cuyahoga and Summit counties are among 1,001 statewide agents that will offer the Keno online lottery game beginning Aug. 4, after approval from the Ohio Lottery Commission in February.

According to representatives of Gov. Ted Strickland's office, businesses with Cladd D liquor licenses are eligible to provide the game, which is expected to generate more than $70 million per year. Profits from the lotto will go toward public schooling and balancing the state's budget.

Edmond Gazdazko of Sto-Kent Family Entertainment, on 3870 Fishcreek Road in Stow, said his business will offer Keno to support Ohio education.

"We try to keep up with all the games that the state offers," he said. more

Open Question: Is There a job out there?

I was a teacher for 23 years until corrupt bureaucrats hung me up to dry after I was assaulted by a student and came away with a torn up back and PTS. Instead of helping me they tried to twist everything around and put me at the cause. The AFT steeped in it went to court my supervisors lied on the bible and I came away with over a year of salary signed a letter that I would never work for the district after 20 years and found out after several interviews that I was blackballed from ever teaching again. From 1998 to 2007 all I could do was sub, draw out all my retirement money to live on and worked for CompUSA from 10/03 to 06/07 as lead macintosh sales person and repair. Then in 10/07 I found a teaching job at a private school teaching science. I made a major and costly move to Conroe TX and 3 weeks into the job they laid me off due low student numbers. Since then I have been out of work the blackballing even reached 60 miles from Houston and all I could do is sub and struggle to pay my bills. Besides being a teacher I am highly proficient with the Macintosh computer. I was a member of the Houston Area Apple User Group for over 20 years were I did seminars on macgames utilities and how to care for your Mac. Around 2002 I tried my own Mac business but then Enron happened and I quickly went from a 40000 a year job to less than 10000 in 5 months and had to re-enter the work force. I nearly went bankrupt. Then I found CompUSA in 2003-2007 and the damn teaching job in 2007. Now I am looking for work in the Mac industry. Resolved Question: hard working director of a failing cast up for drama exam next week. what should i do?

We're five girls performing a diminutive adaptation of Spring Awakening for our semester exam on Feb 23. We're college juniors (3rd yr univ) for Performing Arts major. If this sounds familiar, I did ask this question last week but now there are new developments. The exam is next week. I'm doing all the work like writing and rewriting scripts, training, editing music, and gathering the props. I'm playing Wendla (the lead character) and directing. The girl playing Anna is the only one who shows up at practice, but she doesn't work well when the cast isn't complete. The girl playing Martha went home interstate for Chinese New Year because it's the only time of the year she gets to see her parents. The girl playing Ilse has IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and often misses practices due to sickness; but she never misses work teaching ballet classes. The girl playing Frau Bergmann is working for her mother in law's business, has marriage and financial problems, and is simply not in shape for performing the exam. Recently I dismissed Frau Bergmann from the team for her uncooperative behaviour and rewrote the script. She protested, said that I wasn't being fair for firing her instead of Martha, who is away. I told Frau that's because Martha had permission and we have planned to work around that; whereas Frau wasn't picking up nor returning phone calls, doesn't text unless she needs to vent out her personal problems, and she doesn't practice in her own time. I was supposed to talk to Frau privately today to make sure that we're kicking her out not grudgingly but to lift some weight off her and free her to deal with her personal problems first. To avoid misunderstanding, I didn't want to do it by phone or email so the earliest I could see her in person was today. However, Ilse already told Frau over the weekend that I no longer like her and want her out, so Frau wouldn't listen to any explanations from me and called Anna in front of me to ask her what I had told her. Frau also managed to talk to the lecturer before I did, so the lecturer ordered me to not kick her out. Now I want to kick out Ilse for not respecting my prerogative for communicating decisions, and this has messed up what little harmony was left in the group. Ilse has been missing practice as much as Frau has, but the only reason why I saved her was because she turned up last Friday when I issued her the final warning. Frau did not come but sent me 10 text messages with all her excuses, so she's dismissed, no questions asked. I gave Ilse another chance and she blew it. I need to communicate this to Ilse now because time is running out, but she is not picking up the phone. Today the doctor ordered total bed rest for her. Martha and Anna are waiting for the new, 4 actor version of the script to be e-mailed. However, since Ilse is no longer part of the team (none of these girls know yet), I think I should be modifying the script again to a 3 actor version. Should I email the 4 actor version anyway and apologise for additional modifications once we get to 3 actors? Or should I just email the 3 actor version and explain everything later? How do I make sure there's no hard feelings? All four girls, including Ilse and Frau are very good friends of mine, but I have to be fair with the teamwork. We're very tight knit; I just don't want this decision to create a rift in our friendship because this is like me pushing them off the cliff to fail the semester and re-enroll next year. Also, I don't want Martha and Anna to be intimidated by me and hate me for doing this to two of our best friends. Sure, I can explain to Anna in person tomorrow, but I won't be able to explain to Martha until she comes back on D-Day! And finally, how do I convince the lecturer to accept my decision? She's insisting that I should keep Ilse and Frau because in the real world I will work with difficult people, and the unity of the team is part of the tests will have to pass. This exam is no exception. But I disagree, because if actors in Broadway treat rehearsals the way Ilse or Frau do, I'm sure they'd be fired right away and the director would either replace them with new actors or write out their characters altogether; because it is the director's job to ensure that the show goes on no matter what. Resolved Question: I accidentally uninstalled my microsoft office 2000! I have the disks to reinstall but no product key!?

The computer in question is my desktop. It is relatively old. The original hard drive (C:) is only 9GB. Another 90GB drive (D:) was added several years ago. Yesterday afternoon, in an attempt to make room on my C drive (only about 118MB available), I went into my Add/Remove Programs to get rid of programs I no longer used or had on my laptop. Thinking my MO 2000 was another money/small business type program, I uninstalled it. After my word, excel and outlook icons went all goofy, I realized my unfortunate error. The thing is that I looked at my C drive to see how much free space had been created (one program was 300GB, the other about 500GB) virtually no free space had appeared! This leads me to believe that MO and all my documents and emails are still possibly on my PC but I don't know where to access them. This morning I searched for solutions and came upon the System Restore option. Tried it, didn't work. The only restore date option available was for today. Now, I have my MO 2000 disks to reinstall, however, do not have the original packaging showing the product key. Is there a way to get around this? Or is there a way to retrieve my files if they are not completely gone? I also have MO Prof 2007 disks (my laptop software) with the product key. So I guess my questions are... 1) If MO 2000 is still somewhere on my computer, how can I get it back? 2) If MO 2000 is gone, how can I reinstall it w/o the product key? Can I install it on my larger D drive or possibly an external drive (500GB)? If MO 2000 is gone, does that mean all my documents and emails were wiped out along with it? 3) If I install MO 2007 onto my D or external drive (if possible), will it override any remaining MO 2000 program files on my C drive and/or retrieve any of my files? Resolved Question: How would you handle this situation?

I am posting this in the business section because I would like to respond to this situation in a professional manner: I generally am involved in some type of volunteer effort at all times. Recently, I signed up to help start a national program at our local veteran's cemetery. There is one man already on board and leading the effort. I offered to help and presented a couple of ideas of how I thought we could raise local awareness. We have emailed and talked on the phone (once) for 6 weeks now. He said he would like to meet, which I thought was a good idea as well. Well, without going into all of it, he was coming on to me during the entire meeting. I had to keep bringing the conversation back to the topic. He asked about my height, do I work out, am I dating (I'm separated), what do I do in my spare time (3 teens, hello, this is it buddy). When it was time to leave, I went to shake his hand and he hugged me. So weird. In addition, he really has very specific plans for the way he wants to do things, and none of them involve me. I've been thinking, and feel like I don't want to deal with walking a line with this guy. There are plenty of other ways I can spend my time. How should I "quit"? I was thinking an email saying that due to increased personal obligations or something...I would no longer be able to help out. Any thoughts/ideas? Thanks. more

Resolved Question: What would you do if your husband's best friend kept hitting on you behind your husbands back?

Here is the problem: My husband's "best friend" has been texting and emailing me for the past 3 yrs - never a phone call or face to face conversation. I have commented back to general texts but none to make him believe I support his feelings or to lead the situation on. I am sometimes quite rude in attempt to get him to stop. I have approached my husband several times about the issue and it turns into a big fight. He gets mad at his friend and they fight it out and then he turns on me and says I create all of this so he will loose his friend so I can have the attention all to myself - regardless of what his friend said. My mom has made the comment that she thinks it is my husband trying to run me off. I thought this myself until finally one day it all stopped. I asked my husband to stop having his friend at the house when I am home and he respected my wishes. Then just the other day it all started up again. I have a business trip this week and my hubby gets to go with me. Well, he asks his friend to go with him so they can go fishing together while I work. I opposed the idea all together but my husband is very controlling and says its final. I have been sick and a fight is not real high on my list right now. I started getting texts from his friend that he is in love with me and wants to be with me. What do I do? Do I start this fight all over again or just ignore the situation like it doesn't exist? My husband has a very bad way of handling his anger. Never physical but he turns everything on me and tries to make this my fault. Since I have tried getting his help before and it didnt work I am hesitant to put myself through that again. more

Resolved Question: Does the owner of a rent house have the right to do this?

We signed the lease on the property last week, and paid the deposit and rent. The property is located in a rural area and includes a house, a detached garage, a guest cottage, and a small pool. We haven't moved in yet, due to a snow/ice storm that occurred a few days go. Today, we drove out to check on the property, and we found footprints in the snow all around the house, tire tracks leading in and out of the garage, and the owner's son's business truck parked in the driveway. The truck was most likely kept in our garage during the snowstorm to keep the snow off and parked in the driveway probably to keep from having to drive it up a rather steep hill to where the son lives. This does not seem acceptable to me, but I wanted to check with someone who might know more than I do! One other question: The guest cottage was originally not included in the lease. BEFORE we signed the lease, we were told that the cottage would be used as owner's storage, which was fine with us. AFTER, we were given an email printout from the owner to the manager saying that they wanted to use the cottage when they come to the area on vacation. The cottage is on the same utility meters as the house, which means that we'll get to pay the bills for the owner's vacation home. Nothing about the cottage or its use is mentioned in the lease contract itself. In both of these issues, the owner (and his family) seems to be wanting to have use of the property while it is leased to us. It doesn't seem right to me..We were told verbally before the lease was signed that the cottage would be used for owner's storage. There is NO mention anywhere in the lease contract of the cottage at all. We were given a printout of an email between the owner and the manager (it talked about things like lawn care, pool care, which kitchen drawer contained instruction booklets for the appliances, etc), and that is where we were informed of the intention of the owners to stay in the cottage when they came to the area. As for the detached garage: While it isn't specified in the lease, I was under the impression that it's ours to use, as we were given an opener and keys to the door. Ex Post Facto: The tax attaches to banks that took TARP funds that were offered by the government to shore up the financial system. This was—and remains—perfectly legal. Yet now banks are being penalized for participating in the government program. Severe: The tax is expected to confiscate hundreds of billions of dollars from the banks, which surely qualifies it as severe. Courts have found that to be the punitive confiscation of property. Punitive Intent: Obama’s remarks introducing the tax proposal sounded very vindictive to almost everyone who has heard it. Joe Biden emailed Coakley supporters in Massachusetts that Scott Brown's opposition to the tax was "a perfect opportunity to show where his loyalties lie -- with working families in Massachusetts or with the bankers on Wall Street who helped lead us into the mess we're in -- guess who he chose?" That's the language of punishment for the financial crisis. No Legit Purpose: There’s no other legitimate purpose to the tax but to punish banks for being bailed out. It will probably be argued that the tax will reduce risk at banks—but if that were anything more than a pretext the tax would be permanent rather than expiring when the TARP is fully repaid. And the government cannot argue that the purpose is the collection of revenue—that would be an absurdly broad rationale that would exempt any confiscation, fine or tax from the ban on Bills of Attainder. Targeted: The tax is obviously targeted at the large banks that took TARP. No one expects the list of banks that qualify for the tax to grow, and Obama’s proposal actually exempts the automaker TARP recipients. The courts have ruled that corporations count as individuals who cannot be targeted in this way, so there’s no getting around it by saying Bank of America isn’t a person. And just because there are dozens of banks that will be taxed doesn’t mean it is too broad to qualify—the Supreme Court once ruled that a law aimed at the entire membership of the communist party counted as a Bill of Attainder. Unavoidable: There’s nothing the banks can do to avoid the tax. No management changes or better risk controls will exempt them. So my best friend is 16. She used to date a guy who's 17. They stopped dating 2 and a half months ago. Let's call her "Nicole" and let's call him "James". So they started dating since mid last year but Nicole told me she liked him since they were still friends when they were 11 years old. They stopped dating each other because they're parents did not like them together and they kind of pushed them apart from each other. Hi, Our tax advisor is out of country. We are seeking your help and advise. IRS is examining our 2007 personal return. They asked us to send supporting documentation for Schedule C expenses we claimed: 1) Other Expenses 2) Vehicle Expenses To give you background, we were in Cleveland, Ohio and exploring for business opportunities in 2007. Initially, from Jan through May, we traveled to Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Columbus during weekends through some leads. Also we were looking for business through online websites and newspapers. In May, we had found a gas station for sale in about 20 miles from our place. We talked to the seller. Based on what he said, the business seemed promising so we wanted to purchase. He asked us to put a 10k deposit and so he can start training as we had no idea on gas station business. Also he indicated that it may take about 4 - 6 months to transfer ownership as its a name brand gas franchise. We believed his words and put a $10K deposit with a bill of sale agreement and started training and paperwork with the franchise to transfer ownership. We had gone to the franchise corporate office for interview and exams as well. The seller promised that we can get our deposit back if we back out or transfer process doesn't go through. From May through September we had training almost everyday. It seemed like business wasn't doing very well due to competition on the other corner. Before proceeding further (its already too late :-), we decided to go to a CPA and get his previous tax returns verified. We went to a local CPA, showed his tax papers, paid $75 towards consultation fee, she suggested not to buy the gas station as it had liabilities. Next day, we went to the seller and told him that we wanted to backout. He agreed to give our money back after few days. So went to him a few times. He said he can give in multiple payments, so he gave a check for $2,500. We deposited the check in a local bank but it was bounced. We tried sending emails, calling, and went in person. But he said he cannot give our money. We wanted to give him some time and try again. But he never gave our money back. When we were doing taxes for 2007, we explained all this to our tax advisor, he suggested to claim all this a pre business expenditure (loss) on a schedule C as follows: Other expenses: $10K (deposit lost) + $75 (CPA consultation fee) Vehicle expenses: all miles travelled However we do have check images to support other expenses. Also we do have vehicle service records avaialble to support the vehicle miles log (Dec 2006, Apr 2007, Dec 2007). Ok you all need the back story with this one. My good friend (we'll call him Rob) is a sophmore. He and has girlfriend met in High School, but at some sort of writing camp thing. Rob lived in TX and his girlfriend (we'll call her Anne) lived in MO. They saw each other almost every month in HS. They then go to two different colleges. Anne when to Dartmouth and Rob went to Kenyon College. They contact each other constantly, texting non stop, emails, video chat, etc etc. During the course of last year Rob joined the Mock Trial team because Anne was on the Mock Trial team at Dartmouth. But the Mock Trial team at Kenyon last year was bad, but also one of the guys (who wasn't even in charge) was an asshole, never listened to anyone, and put down Rob a few times. Things got heated last year to the point that Rob can't stand being in the same room as Mike (we'll call the asshole Mike) Now we have two teams this year for Mock Trial. Anne transferred from Dartmouth as well. For the entire semester they have been really happy with one another. Now Anne is on the same team as Mike, and Rob is on the other Mock Trial team. Anne is WELL aware of Rob's hatered towards Mike. Now one night Anne and Mike were playing cards after their Mock Trial meeting, with Mike asking Anne some advice about how to lead the team. Rob walks on them playing cards and he gets royally pissed off, because he understands that Anne needs to get along with Mike, but Rob sees no reason to be that friendly with one another. Since then both Anne and Rob have told me separately that the other doesn't want to talk. At a Christmas party held by some mutual friends on the team Anne and Rob weren't talking to sitting with each other. So people inquired and Anne told them everything. Then people start trying to help them and Rob gets mad, because he wants private business to stay private. Appreantly during the party Rob and Anne had a couple bad arguments. Then the next day they were going to talk. According to Rob Anne didn't really say anything. Then friends who were at the Christmas party sit down. Now typically Anne eats fast, and Rob eats slow. Anne usually gets up and leaves before Rob is done, but this time Mike was sitting at the table. Anne then stayed longer than she would normally do, and Mike happened to be at the table. Ok, I need help/opinions. I am an ecommerce operations manager for a major retail apparel website. And our area of the company has grown enormously in the last year so there has been more focus and money thrown at us (since online businesses are growing at a rapid pace nowadays). I like it but don't like having to sit down at the computer for too long of a time doing paperwork. I've got a makeshift filing system, all paper with folders, cabinet etc. I use MS Office Pro programs like Outlook for email/calendar etc and Word for all documents for bids, invoices, letterheads etc. I'm looking for the best and most efficient ways of dealing with all the administrative duties associated with running a small construction business. I wanna use technology as much as I can to help me keep track of receipts, invoices, job leads, etc. I know I need Quick Books or a program similar but not sure how much that program alone will help me when keeping track of everything. Should I keep a handwritten ledger of all transactions (fuel, materials, tools, withdrawals etc) or is there a program I can use to do that? Any help is much appreciated. Voting Question: Is it weird for girls to be given a contact details from a guy they met for a few seconds?

I was at a business meeting and we were joined by employees from our sister company. I was called in as the lead marketer to give a talk on our ideas and where we need to progress in marketing terms. There was this hot blonde sitting in front of me. She was staring all the time at me, then on our lunch break out of no where came over and started to talk to me, all friendly and stuff, this was about for 5 minutes. Me personally, i thought the signs were all there, that there was a clear attraction and i felt the same way too. The problem is, these meetings are very random and they call up different people from our sister company so there is a chance i will never see her again. From the spurr of the moment, in silence, i gave her my contact details secretly while the main co exec was giving his talks. As i had to leave after that, i couldn't tell her anything so i basically given her me contact details and left without saying anything. I feel too old to be able to tell what's in men's heads anymore, so hope someone (men especially) can clue me in here. I am a married woman, separated from my husband. He is not-so-happily married. (This not according to him, we try not to talk about our spouses, but according to people around town. Though he has hinted about his ambivilance in his marriage.) We have been friends for years, but closer in the past few. I am still in contact with my first boyfriend who I went out with for 5 years and nearly married. I then realised I needed to grow first as a person before settling down and we broke up. Marriage was really important to him and by coincidence on the exact day he married someone else, I took off overseas on my own adventure. That was over 20 years ago and we have kept in contact all this time. The thing is that our lives are so very different now and I find it hard to talk with him. He is still friendly and has told me it is important for him to keep in contact with me, but he likes to talk big about all the places he travels to and his success (he is the CEO of a major Australian brand and I would consider reasonably wealthy). I am just an average person, living with my partner and although we have no money problems, are not big spenders and lead a quiet life. This week he emailed me and I filled him in on everyday life bits and pieces and he sent back one telling me about all his traveling, and his wife's success with their other business. It just "erks" me. Does he want me to say 'wow your great". I guess it makes me jealous but at the same time he is showing no class by bragging. "The Proposal" When a company falls on difficult times, one of the things that seems to happen is they reduce their staff and workers. The remaining workers must find ways to continue to do a good job or risk that their job would be eliminated as well. Wall street, and the media normally congratulate the CEO for making this type of "tough decision", and his board of directors gives him a big bonus. Our government should not be immune from similar risks. Therefore: Reduce the House of Representatives from the current 435 members to 218 members. Reduce Senate members from 100 to 50 (one per State). Then, reduce their staff by 25%. Accomplish this over the next 8 years (two steps/two elections) and of course this would require some redistricting. Some Yearly Monetary Gains Include: $44,108,400 for elimination of base pay for congress. (267 members X $165,200 pay/member/ yr.) $97,175,000 for elimination of their staff. (estimate $1.3 Million in staff per each member of the House, and $3 Million in staff per each member of the Senate every year) $240,294 for the reduction in remaining staff by 25%. $7,500,000,000 reduction in pork barrel ear-marks each year. (those members whose jobs are gone. Current estimates for total government pork earmarks are at $15 Billion/yr). The remaining representatives would need to work smarter and improve efficiencies. It might even be in their best interests to work together for the good of our country! We may also expect that smaller committees might lead to a more efficient resolution of issues as well. It might even be easier to keep track of what your representative is doing. Congress has more tools available to do their jobs than it had back in 1911 when the current number of representatives was established. Also, we had 3 senators that were not doing their jobs for the 18+ months (on the campaign trail) and still they all have accepted full pay. Voting Question: Am I wrong for feeling betrayed?

My fiance has children that live in another state. His ex was bringing the kids for the summer visit. I had recently moved in with him to the house that he and the ex shared. It was understood that she would stay at a hotel. Leading up to the visit she had sent him many emails stating she wanted him back. She knew of our engagement and still wrote of her feelings. I was away on business the day she arrived and I finished early and came home a day early only to find her in the house and was told she would be spending 2 days. I feel like her feelings were put before mine. I do not feel it was right for her to be allowed to stay in the same house. When she was told she would have to stay in a hotel, she became angry and said she had lived there for 5 years and I was not even there, and so she got to stay. U.S. Attorney Benton J. Campbell said the reward money and new federal charges were among U.S. efforts to dismantle a powerful drug trafficking organization known as The Company, whose members came from an elite security force called Los Zetas. The only name on an indictment unsealed in federal court in Brooklyn was Miguel Trevino-Morales, a fugitive charged with operating a continuing criminal enterprise, international cocaine distribution and firearms violations. The indictment also sought the forfeiture of $1 billion in drug proceeds. Campbell said in a release that Trevino-Morales, who could face life in prison if convicted, was the principal leader of Los Zetas, a group that includes former members of the Air Mobile Special Forces Group of the Mexican military who went into the drug-smuggling business. In Washington, the Department of State announced it was offering a total of $50 million for tips leading to the capture of the defendants, including four leaders who were designated as narcotics kingpins by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control. The government said it was offering up to $5 million apiece for information leading to the arrests of 10 people, one of whom has been captured. Nineteen defendants have been charged in an indictment in federal court in Washington with drug trafficking-related crimes, and others are charged in indictments in federal court in Houston. "The joint efforts announced today are significant steps in the department's strategy to stop the flow of illegal drugs into our communities and the shipment of drug proceeds back to Mexico," Campbell said. Assistant Attorney General Lanny A. Breuer said the actions taken Monday will at least make it more difficult for the drug dealers to move cash around. "We have learned that the most effective way to disrupt and dismantle criminal organizations is to prosecute their leaders and seize their funding," she said in a release. "We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our brave Mexican colleagues in the fight against these destructive cartels." The Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Designation Act, which became law in 1999, prohibits all trade and transactions between U.S. companies and individuals and significant foreign narcotics traffickers, their organizations and associates who act on their behalf. Fewer than 100 people have been designated narcotics kingpins since the first major targets were announced in June 2000. The indictment unsealed in Brooklyn said the drug organization, formerly known as the Gulf Cartel, had become the dominant force in the drug trade along the Gulf of Mexico, transporting multi-ton quantities of cocaine each month from Mexico to Texas after obtaining it in Guatemala, Colombia, Venezuela and elsewhere. My husband's coworker is making things very difficult for him. He used to be her boss but now she is in a different department. He is a manager in sales and she is the shipping "lead" so he has to deal with her frequently. Often, if a shipment is too complicated, she will tell him it can't be done, or he should do it. She is making it difficult for him to do his job. He says that she is bitter because she was not chosen as his replacement as the manager of the dept. It's his business for sure, and he can handle it but I did remember something. She is a MaryKay rep, and I've ordered from her in the past. But then stopped. That is obviously not why she is being so difficult but I thought I should send her an email and say I miss working with her, and place a large order.
