Township to Enter into Negotiations with Dranoff Properties for Ardmore Transit Center and Business District ...

The Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners voted in favor of entering into negotiations with Dranoff Properties for the Ardmore Transit Center and Business District Revitalization Project following presentations by BET Investments, Dranoff Properties and Strategic Realty Investments and extensive public input at the March 19th Economic Revitalization Committee (ERC).

"I am delighted with the end result of tonight's meeting, and look forward to working with the negotiating team so that we can get started on the revitalization of Ardmore," remarked Carl Dranoff, President of Dranoff Properties. "Our proven track record of success in any economic climate, as well as our commitment to see the vision of Ardmore fulfilled in partnership with the Township and its citizens will bring this long-awaited project to fruition."

Dranoff Properties' project, Ardmore Station, is a mixed-use $150 million project that will create a vibrant and walkable village with sufficient critical mass to attract new residents, businesses and customers. more

Office Depot has been recognized for doing business with female-owned businesses and for its ethical workplace.

The Delray Beach-based office supply retailer was named "best-in-class" supplier by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. Office Depot has helped hundreds of women-owned businesses achieve success by mentoring them, according to the council, an advocate of female-owned businesses as suppliers to U.S. corporations.

Separately, the Center for Companies That Care named Office Depot among the 41 companies on its 2008 honor roll. Companies are selected for their "ethical and socially responsible work environment."
