The documents, a total of about 1,000 pages, are among the first to be released to Corsi through his FOIA request to the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, or SPP, which describes itself as an initiative "to increase security and to enhance prosperity among the three countries through greater cooperation." "The documents clearly reveal that SPP, working within the U.S. Department of Commerce, is far advanced in putting together a new regional infrastructure, creating a 'shadow' trilateral bureaucracy with Mexico and Canada that is aggressively rewriting a wide range of U.S. administrative law, all without congressional oversight or public disclosure," Corsi said. Among the initial discoveries, said Corsi, is the existence of an internal Intranet website that never has been revealed to Congress or the public. "This private internal website," he claims, "undoubtedly contains a wealth of documentation that the FOIA request has so far intentionally excluded." Corsi told WND the documents reveal hundreds of internal meetings, memoranda of understanding and other referenced agreements that have not been disclosed. "We have here the beginnings of a whitewash," he said, "in which SPP evidently thinks the public will be hoodwinked by a 'Myths vs. Facts' document posted for public relations purposes on their public website." Among the documents is an organizational chart accompanied by a listing of trilateral Mexican, Canadian and U.S. administrative officers who report on multiple cabinet level "working groups." The government watchdog Judicial Watch announced today it has received some of the same documents, including the organizational chart, which can be seen in this pdf file, on page seven. "There is no specific authorization for this massive administrative-branch integration with Mexico and Canada other than what amounts to a press conference jointly issued by President Bush, Mexico's President Vicente Fox, and Canada's then-Prime Minister Paul Martin on March 23, 2005, at the end of their summit in Waco, Texas," Corsi said. Corsi added that even the "Myth vs. Facts" blurb on the SPP.gov website admits the SPP is neither a treaty nor a law. "The Bush administration is trying to create the infrastructure of a new regional North American government in stealth fashion, under the radar and out of public view," Corsi claims. "Where is Congress, asleep at the wheel?" The SPP organizational chart Corsi obtained shows 13 working groups covering a wide range of public policy issues, including Manufactured Goods; Energy, Food & Agriculture; Rules of Origin' Health; E-Commerce; Transportation; Environment; Financial Services; Business Facilitation; External Threats to North America; Streamlined & Secured Shared Borders; and Prevention/Response within North America. U.S. administrative-branch officers participating in these working groups are drawn from the U.S. departments of State, Homeland Security, Commerce, Treasury, Agriculture, Transportation, Energy, Health and Human Services, and the office of the U.S. Trade Representative. The released documents affirm that counterparts from official governmental agencies in Mexico and Canada are combined with the U.S. administrative branch to form new trilateral "working groups" that actively rewrite U.S. administrative law to "harmonize" or "integrate" with administrative law in Mexico and Canada. My Presidential Endorsement: Feb 8th 2008 5:22PM They say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So why is it the American people allow our politicians to do the same things over and over and we believe them and expect results different from previous elections ? I've looked at the websites of current and previous candidates to get an understanding of their platforms. They all have positions, some of which I agree with , some of which I don't. But there is one thing that is missing from each and everyone of them, any manner of implementation. Health care, spending cuts, retaining or repealing tax cuts, keeping or removing troops, the soundbites with pretty numbers never end. Not a single candidate provides details on how exactly they are going to accomplish anything. Don't they realize that economists exists to make lottery ticket buyers look smart, not presidential candidates ? It reminds me of business plans I get from kids who tell me about their vision and project all kinds of numbers leading to grand results. They can site historical facts and figures, but when it comes time to get into details of exactly how they are going to execute on their plans, the response is basically that they will figure it out as they go. I wouldn't invest in a business that is winging it any more than I want to vote for a presidential candidate that is winging it. Unfortunately , they are all winging it. i have no question that they have every detail about how to spend their campaign contributions on advertising planned out. I have yet to see details on how they plan to accomplish all their great promises they are making to voters. That scares me. It also scares me that despite claims of not being an "insider" or wanting a different vision for America, every remaining candidate spends more energy campaigning to their party than to the issues. I got sick watching Clinton and Barack argue about who was less of a "Reaganite" during one of their few lively debate exchanges. I actually started to get a little bit excited about McCain. Then he went on the warpath to "mend his riff" with the Republican Party. I can only speak for myself, but the fact that he had a "riff" with the Republicans is exactly why i started to get excited about him. No, he hadn't presented any more details on his plans than any other candidate, but there was a glimmer of hope that he was a candidate that thought for himself. (And before all the comments start, Ron Paul is the worse of all the candidates when it comes to detailing how he would execute on his promises. Just saying you are going to cut and eliminate everything doesn't mean you know how to do it and/or could get it done.) So here we are, our country has the same problem we have every four years, our remaining candidates are politicians. They know how to spend other people's money. They know how to assign responsibility to someone else. They know how to beg for other people's money. They know how to campaign, schmooze and kiss babies. They have no earthly idea how to accomplish any of their promises. So here is my hope. My hope is that the entire primary process is just the preseason. That its nothing more than an expensive introduction to the Republican and Democratic candidates and once they have picked their winner, a wealthy individual will nominate them self to compete with the 2 parties and run for President. Are you listening Mayor Bloomberg ? For less than the cost of opening a tent pole movie, you can change the status quo . I'm not saying that I'm going to vote for you yet. Questin on Tax Accounting. I run a small home business. I have phones, cell phones, internet and satellite tv all on 1 bill thru ATT. Currently all of that is included on 1 bill in my own name. My company is an S-Corp. 99% of my business is internet e-commerce retail. How do I allcate costs associated with my personal use vs. costs allocated thru the corporation for business use? Do I have to get separate accounts for each and pay double? Can I estimate it at 75% biz vs. 25% personal (that is the actual usage)? British Council launches a search for the UAE's top visual arts talent

The British Council has launched its first International Young Visual Arts Entrepreneur (IYVAE) Award in the UAE, which aims to champion and celebrate the importance of creative entrepreneurs. The IYVAE Award will identify a UAE National or resident who is working in the visual arts sector and who is able to demonstrate business success with a social or not‑for‑profit enterprise in this sector. International recognition and an arts tour of the UK awaits the winner. According to the British Council, a creative entrepreneur is a risk taker with a passion for the creative sector (but not necessarily an artist/creative talent) with original ideas, leadership style and the international outlook and ability to influence and change the sector. Entries will be judged by a panel of experts from the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage, the British Council and a local arts organisation, on the basis of their personal leadership in the visual arts industry in the UAE, and who hasve also developed initiatives (such as exhibitions, trade fairs, festivals) that have contributed to the development and growth of the market for this sector in the UAE. more

Adidas' official status means that they will have a greater advertising presence in Beijing while Nike face restrictions on how and where they can advertise during the Olympics.

Nike, however, do sponsor 22 of the China's 28 sporting federations. "Beijing presents a moment in time to make a brand statement," Nike insist.

Adidas respond to that by saying: "The campaign concept is about rallying the nation and showing how the entire Chinese nation is supporting their athletes and the Games themselves."

The Games could end up feeling like a multi-sport shoe commercial.

Sarawak Assistant Bumiputera Entrepreneur Development Minister Naroden Majais said the cake was the creative efforts of five local bakeries - Resipi Warisan, Mariam Cakes, Rabiah Amit Enterprise, Ambrosia de Cake and S.A Enterprise.

�The cake took eight days to make and was completed by 20 bakers yesterday at the cost of RM10,000,� he said when launching the Entrepreneur Movement programme here today.
The cake is made up of various layers in yellow, red and black - the colours of the state flag.

It was cut and sold at RM20 per piece with the proceeds going to charity.

At the function, a teh tarik made by Taib fetched RM500 and the money was also raised for charity.
