Corporal Randolph Agarn, managed to sell several Hekawi tribal souvenirs to those in attendance at Foley Field before their return to Fort Courage.
A one-out single by Demperio in the bottom of the stanza was followed up by a Beckham double to move the Bulldog second baseman to third. A base hit by Poythress plated a pair of runs before Massanari grounded into a rally-squelching double play. Even so, though, the Classic City Canines had pulled to within two runs of their guests, who obligingly flied out, grounded out, and struck out in sequence in the visitors' half of the eighth frame.
Following a leadoff walk by the Georgia left fielder in the initial at-bat of the bottom of the canto, Lewis dropped a single into center field to put runners at the corners. Cerione reached on a fielder's choice (batting in a run in the process) and Olson's ensuing single was aided by a Trent error, which sent the new Bulldog right fielder to third and enabled Cerione to score an unearned run. more
Tips to police rise; slow economy a factor
But their advertising makes no bones about the benefits of a good tip.
"Crime doesn't pay but we do," say the mobile billboards cruising Jacksonville, Fla. A poster in Jackson, Tenn., draws a neat equation: "Ring Ring + Bling Bling = Cha-Ching." The bling, in this case, is a pair of handcuffs.
Crime Stoppers programs strictly protect the anonymity of callers. Each tip is assigned a number, and if the tip results in an arrest, the caller can collect a cash reward, usually by going to a designated bank. Some programs pay tipsters within hours of an arrest; others have monthly meetings to approve reward amounts.
Not only have the number of tips increased, several program coordinators said, but people are also more diligent about calling back to find out if and when they can collect. more

Open Question: Is this what Barack Obama has planned for us?
The Dinner Roll .. Once upon a time I was invited to the White House for a private dinner with the President. I am a respected businessman, with a factory that produces memory chips for computers and portable electronics. There was some talk that my industry was being scrutinized by the administration, but I paid it no mind. I live in a FREE country. There's nothing that the government can do to me if I've broken no laws. My wealth was EARNED honestly, and an invitation to dinner with an American President is an honor. I checked my coat, was greeted by the Chief of Staff, and joined the President in a yellow dining room. We sat across from each other at a table draped in white linen. The Great Seal was embossed on the china. Uniformed staff served our dinner. The meal was served, and I was startled when my waiter suddenly reached out, plucked a dinner roll off my plate and began nibbling it as he walked back to the kitchen.. "Sorry 'bout that," said the President. "Andrew is very hungry." "I don't appreciate..." I began, but as I looked into the calm brown eyes across from me, I felt immediately guilty and petty. It was just a dinner roll. "Of course," I concluded, and reached for my glass. Before I could, however, another waiter reached forward, took the glass away and swallowed the wine in a single gulp. "And his brother, Eric, is very thirsty," said the President. I didn't say anything. The President is testing my compassion, I thought. I withheld my comments and decided to play along. I don't want to seem unkind.. My plate was whisked away before I had tasted a bite. "Eric's children are also quite hungry." With a lurch, I crashed to the floor. My chair had been pulled out from under me. I stood, brushing myself off angrily, and watched as it was carried from the room. And their grandmother can't stand for long." I excused myself, smiling outwardly, but inside feeling like a fool. Obviously I had been invited to the White House to be sport for some game. I reached for my coat, to find that it had been taken. I turned back to the President. "Their grandfather doesn't like the cold." I wanted to shout, "that was my coat!" But again, I looked at the placid smiling face of my host and decided I was being a poor sport. I spread my hands helplessly and chuckled. Then I felt my hip pocket and realized my wallet was gone. I excused myself and walked to a phone on an elegant side table. I learned shortly that my credit cards had been maxed out, my bank accounts emptied, my retirement and equity portfolios had vanished, and my wife had been thrown out of our home. Apparently, the waiters and their families were moving in. The President hadn't moved or spoken as I learned all this, but finally I lowered the phone into its cradle and turned to face him. "Andrew's whole family has made bad financial decisions. They haven't planned for retirement and they need a house. They recently defaulted on a subprime mortgage. I told them they could have your home. They need it more than you do." My hands were shaking. I felt faint I stumbled back to the table and knelt on the floor. The President cheerfully cut his meat, ate his steak, and drank his wine. I lowered my eyes and stared at the small grey circles on the tablecloth that were water drops. "By the way," he added, "I have just signed an Executive Order nationalizing your factories. I'm firing you as head of your business. I'll be operating the firm now for the benefit of all mankind. There's a whole bunch of Erics and Andrews out there and they can't come to you for jobs groveling like beggars...we need to spread YOUR wealth around..." I looked up. The President dropped his spoon into the empty ramekin which had been his crème Brule. He drained the last drops of his wine. As the table was cleared, he lit a cigarette and leaned back in his chair. He stared at me. I clung to the edge of the table as if it were a ledge and I were a man hanging over an abyss. I thought of the years behind me, of the life I had lived. The life I had earned with a lifetime of work, risk and struggle. Why was I punished? How had I allowed it to be taken? What game had I played and lost? I looked across the table and noticed with some surprise that there was no game board between us. What had I done wrong? As if answering the unspoken thought, President Obama suddenly cocked his head, locked his empty eyes to mine, and bared a million teeth, chuckling wryly as he folded his hands. "You should have stopped me at the dinner roll," he said. moreOpen Question: can i add a "pay your bills here" service at my business?

How do you think these people live with themselves, laying people off to make their stocks and profits look bigger than they are, play with people's pensions and lose them, make bets on peoples' money, tricking people with vague language in housing and credit card contracts, and failing your business only to get billions more than you're worth in tax payer dollars with no strings attached and give yourself and others millions in undeserved bonuses. As someone who grew up in the small town Midwest something like this is incomprehensible. Could you ever do it? moreResolved Question: Ah Obama? not that people should not pay debts? But old people? On disability? Debts decades old?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm young. Owe no one, leastwise student loans. I say fk credit cards. If you cannot afford to pay when you purchase, don't. Stay away from any government benefits. The rug can be pulled at any time. But then maybe some congress members or senators will have to pay back some of their old debts. Maybe before they became part of government...from years ago. (Obama, why are you allowing punishment of old people? and the disabled? Is Obama who I thought he was? Is he a clone of bush? what happened to my great hope with this man) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Defaulted Loans May Haunt Seniors by Ellen E. Schultz Monday, March 8, 2010 A little–noticed law could soon result in smaller Social Security checks for hundreds of thousands of the elderly and disabled who owe the U.S. money from defaulted loans and other debts more than a decade old.Social Security benefits are off–limits to creditors, such as credit–card companies and banks. But the U.S. can collect debts to federal agencies by "offsetting," or withholding Social Security and disability payments. The Treasury currently withholds benefits of 3.1 million Social Security recipients to recover defaulted student–, farm– and small–business loans, unpaid income taxes, amounts veterans owe for health care, and other debts to the government. Previously, the U.S. hasn't been able to withhold Social Security payments to recover most debts delinquent for more than ten years. But a provision in the 2008 Farm Bill lifted the ten–year statute of limitations on the government's ability to withhold Social Security benefits in collecting debts other than student loans—for which the statute of limitations was lifted in 1997—and income taxes, where the limit remains 10 years.oh no oh no!!! I am not blaming Obama for the Bill... it rests with Bush. However, Obama seems unknowledgeable in some respects. Like he only finds out about important matters --- after the fact. I see him rallying for health care..it's importnat and affects many many seniors..and then I see this article...yes,, one should pay their debts, if they are able to. But not if circumstances prevent such payback. After all the seniors did their share also. They worked hard and paid taxes...the biggest friggn debt-dodgers are big business and the Maddox's of the world..and then some. So don't get me wrong. Like I said, I am young I'm also educated. Well learned. I make comparisons. If Obama was such a gret choice, then let him prove it. He - as well as many of you - will be old one day, needing diapers and straws, and maybe the few dollars they take out of your retirement or disability benefits, because you were unable to pay some government loan. Govt is and has always cheated u ~~~and i am tired of this "oh I paid back my student loan" like you accomplished some great deed. Maybe your loan was only 2500.00 sillybutt. Others have loans in the tens of thousands. So govt says, "well come back and work for us for some paltry yearly salary and we MIGHT forgive your debt." Govt traps you! but not me! Get over youself. Your loan was small. Govt forgives murderers and embezzlers and defrauders and other REAL criminals. So again, get over youirslef! and open yhour eyes. No one is more blind than those with 20/20 vision, but who see with their eyes wide shut! moreResolved Question: Can I sue partner for misappropriation?
I am a web developer and full time student that traded one of my assets (a profitable website) for a 30% stake in a small business that sells a proprietary product in the United States. The situation is quite simple that I'm facing. My partner, who owns the lionshare (70%) of the company, decided we should sell the website since we had a good buyer (this is true). So we sold the website for $xxx,xxx.00, much higher than I anticipated. Now that we have a huge influx of cash flow after selling an asset, we have to make up for the lost revenue. However, my partner has been increasingly "frivolous" of his spending. I have confirmed my suspicions that he is using corporate funds for at least SOME of his personal pleasure. For example, for my 21st birthday he justified using the corporate credit card for our "night out" together. This is ok to me. However, I think that my partner has broken his limits as partner by, over a long period of time, using corporate funds to finance his lifestyle. As you may expect, this does not sit well with me. I have strong suspicions that he is using the money from the asset sale, and now he is spending of the cash on himself. I don't know if he THINKS i think it's ok. The website was something I worked hard on for three years of my life, so I'm obviously going to be more attached to the cash than him. But I am only 21 years old, and he is 33. So I'm pretty sure something is going on here. Bottom line, can I sue him for misappropriating funds? I don't want to talk to a lawyer yet because I would hate to make our business go sour if it is not true. Any advice and/or suggestions is very appreciated.We are an LLC corporation doing business in Illinois. I believe he is not being truthful about our spending because he has consistently demonstrated to me that he simply does not respect my money. He has straight up told me he was considering insurance fraud. Big flag, right? He also talks about laundering and what not. However, I have to admit that I do not know what he is speaking about half the time. I just pretend like I do (probably not good, but hey). Anyways, I don't think he realizes that he is interfering with my financial security and future, IF he is misappropriating funds. moreResolved Question: How much would it cost to have a wesbite where you can charge credit cards through it?
Porn in the USA: Conservatives Are Biggest Consumers 8 of Top 10 Porn-Consuming States Voted Republican in 2008 Presidential Election By EWEN CALLAWAY Feb. 28, 2009 Americans may paint themselves in increasingly bright shades of red and blue, but new research finds one thing that varies little across the nation: the liking for online pornography. A new nationwide study (pdf) of anonymised credit-card receipts from a major online adult entertainment provider finds little variation in consumption between states. "When it comes to adult entertainment, it seems people are more the same than different," says Benjamin Edelman at Harvard Business School. However, there are some trends to be seen in the data. Those states that do consume the most porn tend to be more conservative and religious than states with lower levels of consumption, the study finds. "Some of the people who are most outraged turn out to be consumers of the very things they claimed to be outraged by," Edelman says. Political Divide Edelman spends part of his time helping companies such as Microsoft and AOL detect advertising fraud. Another consulting client runs dozens of adult websites, though he says he is not at liberty to identify the firm. That company did, however, provide Edelman with roughly two years of credit card data from 2006 to 2008 that included a purchase date and each customer's postal code After controlling for differences in broadband internet access between states – online porn tends to be a bandwidth hog – and adjusting for population, he found a relatively small difference between states with the most adult purchases and those with the fewest. The biggest consumer, Utah, averaged 5.47 adult content subscriptions per 1000 home broadband users; Montana bought the least with 1.92 per 1000. "The differences here are not so stark," Edelman says. Number 10 on the list was West Virginia at 2.94 subscriptions per 1000, while number 41, Michigan, averaged 2.32. Eight of the top 10 pornography consuming states gave their electoral votes to John McCain in last year's presidential election – Florida and Hawaii were the exceptions. While six out of the lowest 10 favoured Barack Obama. http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/Business/story?id=6977202&page=1 moreResolved Question: I am considering filing for bankruptsy...?
I am 24. I am an independent business owner. My business is under control however, my personal is lacking a lot. I own a small pharmacy in the city. A customer came up to me to pay for his purchase. The total came up to $50.49. He asked if I accepted credit or debit. I replied yes. Then he gave me the card. I asked him if it was credit or debit and he replied it doesn't matter. I want to know which make me or money because I know there is a charge I have to pay for charging credit and debit. The card was mastercard. moreVoting Question: What will the big banks do in the future? "If" things turn around.?
This is all hypothetical to me.........but here it goes: If and when the economy gets rolling again prior to everything really going down the drain about 2-3 years ago... I'd go farther with the gas prices going to 4.00 a gal but.................do you think the big banks are really going to suffer the consequences from the middle class consumer? I ask this for a few reasons- One, those of us that can manage to get by w/out the credit cards even after they jacked up the interest rates, and all those other things to squeeze us like a sandwich, when those balances get paid off, I really don't think our mindset is going to be to use them again even if the interest rates go into the single digits! I think the small community banks will eventually prevail over the big banks in the end because the whole world learned their lesson ( especially we indulgent Americans) and make it even harder for them to get return or new customers. I think the mindset will focus more on paying w/cash, and really waiting for the things we need or want when we have the cash to pay for it. It's our fault yes, for whipping out the plastic every other time to offset the checking account balance, but it's not our fault for the banks sticking it to us because they know they can. Like I said "if and when", I'm not going into the politics of it. When the big guy takes advantage of the little guy, the little guy will pay his dues, but when their paid, he will move elsewhere and burn the big guys bridge, never to return. Thats my logic anyway. I think in the end, at least hope, that when things turn around for the better, that big business is going to be hurting for our business even more before things took a tumble. I'm sure I'll here Republican, Democrat, and Obama right? Thank Bush for the Iraq war, and thank the banks for the housing collapse. I think things were pretty good before we invaded Iraq. I mean, did we really have to? I don't think so. I'm referencing the "middle class consumer" here. We're the ones getting the shaft the most IMO. moreResolved Question: how do small business get credit cards?
Several years ago, I tried out the "fill out ads for money" deal. I unknowingly filled ads with my email and mailing address, and was eventually sent some products (books) that I did not want. Supposedly, they were free when I filled that ad, but then they charged me with an invoice totaling up for a large amounts of money. And it didn't stop there. Each month, they kept sending books, although I called and emailed them to stop because I did not want their service. It took a while to stop them, but once it ended, I lost a large amount of money. I have grown up and learned from this past mistake, but now that I think back to it, was there a way for me to avoid these invoices? Since I didnt put any credit card number down, were these people still eligible to charge me? I searched around and I guess that there are some scams where they send you an ad that looks surprisingly close to an invoice, I am wondering if I fell for the same thing. I am just curious and want to know what my options are for dealing with situations like this. I plan on opening up my own business after college, and I heard that that scammers love to prey off new/small businesses. My fiance and I have been engaged since last July. He lives 2 hours away, and lives with a relative of his. Anyway... Recently, his relative who owns the house, has invited 2, (maybe 3) other people to live with them. 4 grown people sharing a small house with one bathroom and maybe 3 bedrooms could be quite.. uncomfortable. In addition to that, they started out with 3 dogs, and the new people brought 4 more, so there's also 7 dogs there as well. My family is already hard on him, because we met online and there's an age difference between us. If they found out about his, it wouldn't help either of us at all. Last year, he lost his job as a manager at a bar&grille because it went out of business. The relative he lives with was the owner. He was on unemployment for a little while, and now has the fortune to be working full time at Giant. However, he has to be working at least 45 hours to pay his bills. It seems to me, that he's the only one there that has a job, and he can't afford to pay ALL of the bills by himself. If the others are paying rent, she's not using the money for bills. His credit card bill is going up, and he can't afford to pay it back, because he has to spend his pay checks on the bills that he shouldn't have to be paying on his own to begin with. He's trying to find another, higher paying job, but obviously, that's not an easy thing to do. He wants to get out of that place, but he can't afford to move. His relative won't give him his W2 so he can't do his taxes, apparently because she owes them money. He's convinced that eventually, he's going to be so far into debt, he won't have a place to live, or a car to drive, or a way for us to keep in contact, much less marry. And, if his relative won't give him his W2, he can't do his taxes, and he might have to go to jail. I work part time as a local grocery store. I just bought my first car, and I'm spending most of my own money on my insurance and phone bill, and gas. I want to help him, but I can't, and he won't let me. I suggested declaring bankruptcy, if he had to, and he said that that would destroy his credit, and he won't be able to get anything anyway. Is there anything at all that I can do to help him get passed this? It is extremely difficult thinking that eventually I won't be able to contact him for an indeterminable time. Perhaps, this might even bring the end of our relationship. Any helpful suggestions, financial or otherwise, would be greatly appreciated. moreResolved Question: Can revenue Canada seize my bank account for my husbands debt?
I moved to Canad from the states back in October 2009. I opened a bank account completely separate from my husband. He owes about $25,000 in taxes to Revenue Canada. He was making payments until last summer when he lost his job. Since he couldn't find work, he was living off his credit cards. Revenue Canada contacted him when he stopped making payments and he let them know about the situation. They sent him some paperwork he filled out and out of good faith he made a $100 payment and told them he would pay more when he could. When I moved here we didn't think I would have any problems finding work, but even after almost 6 months I was only able to get a month seasonal job during Christmas, otherwise no one will even give me an interview. In the meantime my husband has started a small business that just barely covers our monthly living expenses (this was back in December). At the same time he received a letter from Revenue Canada stating if he didn't fill out this form that authorized them to pry into every nook and cranny of our lives for the past 10 years, they would proceed with legal action. Since it was Christmas we couldn't get an appointment to see an attorney to find out what our options were so he sent a letter to Revenue Canada asking them for an additional 30 days to consult a lawyer and he would get back to them. After talking to the lawyer, my husband make several attempts to contact Revenue Canada. never hearing back or being able to get a hold of the person he was dealing with. Before we knew it, they seized his bank account and took what little money that was in it. Miraculously when he called Revenue Canada to find out what happened he got a hold of the guy and he told him basically any money that goes in Revenue Canada will take and they were proceeding with legal actions. When he told him he kept trying to get in contact with him, the guy played dumb like he never got any of his messages. So my questions are 1) what are our options? We can negotiate a payment plan but there is no way we can pay off all the debt in 2 years like they want especially since I can't get anyone to hire me. and 2) can revenue Canada seize my bank accounts as well even though it is solely my account and not a joint account? Thanks ahead of time! moreVoting Question: Help me understand reversing a credit card charge?
Ok, here is the story. I bought a used 4-wheeler from a small business owner and used my credit card. Once the card was ran and approved, the owner put the 4-wheeler on the truck. THEN, he began saying that the electric start had JUST burned out when loading it, start it by sparking the battery. Then the pull start needed oil, but there was NO pull cord. Then he says "oh, the brakes are touchy."....there were NO brakes, he burned them out putting it on the truck. So, I get it home and it won't go into gear, I call him 3-4 hrs later and tell him about it, he says he will fix it but it will take weeks. So, I am seriously pissed now, because before I ran my card, the 4-wheeler "ran perfect", then after, "Oh, well there's this tore up and that tore up." So, I called my credit card company and they would gladly refund my money, but I needed to talk with the merchant first and see if he would return it first. He says, "NO Refunds". So, my question is, if I have the proof of my problems, have the credit card company reverse my charges, and have proof of returning the 4-wheeler in the same condition....Does the guy have a case against me for returning it and reversing the charges? Last May, Obama signed the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009. “We're not going to give people a free pass, and we expect consumers to live within their means and pay what they owe, but we also expect financial institutions to act with the same sense of responsibility that the American people aspire to in their own lives,” he said. When the bill went into effect earlier this week Obama said, ""These new rules don't absolve consumers of their obligation to pay their bills, but they finally level the playing field so that every family and small business using a credit card has the information they need to make responsible financial decisions," Obama said. Surprise, surprise, surprise....... NEW CREDIT CARD LAW RIFE WITH LOOPHOLES BEWARE: Hidden and deceptive fees are still lurking around the corner As new rules to protect credit card holders from predatory practices went into effect on Monday, issuing banks warned that the regulations would result in higher interest rates and less access to credit. You've heard a lot about the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009, which took effect on Monday. The new law requires credit card companies to treat their customers more fairly, and that's clearly a victory for consumers. But even with the new law, there are still many ways you could end up paying more than you should for your charge cards. Can you imagine how shocked our elected government officials were when they learned that there were loopholes in this bill? My, my, my.........I can absolutely understand how this could happen though. I usually cut a few large entry holes in any fence I build too......by mistake of course. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35544006/ns/business-consumer_news http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2009/05/obama-signs-cre.html http://www.credit.com/news/credit-debt/2010-02-22/obama-administration-praises-credit-card-reform.html moreResolved Question: Question About College for a 40-Year-Old Female...?
Bear with me, this is a bit lengthy. I am female, nearly 40 with family, especially 76 year old father coaxing me to pursue a college degree to land "secure employment" with benefits. Let me shed a little light with regards to my particular situation. I reluctantly graduated high school in '88 *wishing I'd repeated that year citing personal reasons* and, with the persistence of both my parents, began that fall in community college, randomly choosing a major to 1) get my parents off of my back and 2) declare a major just for the sake of declaring a major. My grandfather put away money since the time I was a baby in the stock market for my college, but I used it to fulfill transportation, living expenses and a trade school instead *I had always wanted to be a barber -- since the age of five* This, not surprisingly, was an unacceptable aspiration and, several years later, continued to be coaxed to finish a four-year-degree. This time, not only by my grandfather, but also my father and my younger brother and his wife. To make an insanely long story short, I spent those 20+ years traveling, barbering *for 15 years total*, working in various administrative positions in various industries and had a blast, along the way, doing so. There's one drawback: I have an extremely tiny retirement *my fault*, no benefits other than health insurance through my ex *not that I consider THAT a benefit -- more so a necessity* and some of the best income produced of any field I worked in in the barbering industry, $6000/mo, to be exact. Not too shabby. Still, the barber *out of work, currently* that I am, and the part-time entrepreneur *in another field* that I've become, my family still hounds me about that four-year college degree. Now, I am no dummy. I can do math *citing reasons to be diswayed by bloated interest rates for student loans* and I know my personality. The biggest problem with regards to attending college or, shall I say, the biggest problemS with regards to attending college right now *for my personal situation* are the following: -- I cannot sit still through classes, much less sit still through four full years, more if I need to go part time. -- There's not one major in college that I care to pursue. Not ONE. -- Not that I have anything against them, nor do I realize that all fall within this category, but I don't want a white collar position. No offense to white collar workers. My whole family is white collar. I am the only one who isn't. -- I can do math. I am not stupid. I know what I would need to repay for student loans after private, public or community colleges. I shudder with the thought of even having a debt of $5000. I don't have credit card debt. I don't own a credit card *my wisdom*. I have marginal medical debt *thank you, knee surgeries and asthma issues!*, but that only totals an amount in the ball park of $2000 -- manageable, comparitively speaking. I don't wish to repay loans once I hit the age when I begin drawing social security. I don't qualify for a grant -- still *legally* married, and I don't qualify for academic scholarships, grades aren't good enough, thanks to my high course withdrawal rate and F's for failing to withdraw courses once I unofficially dropped them back in the late 80's. -- I want to own a business when the opportunity arises and don't see it as a possibility by taking out student loans. There's no such thing as good debt/bad debt. It's ALL debt and I'd rather be debt free once the time permits to apply for a small business loan. So, there you have it. My life in a fairly sizeable nutshell. Question is this: How do I effectively explain to my family, once and for all, that I am NOT college-bound and that I have other, more important, more attractive aspirations? Well, with the Elimination Chamber PPV behind us now, it's a little easier to see what's going down for this year's Wrestlemania. I may be the only one, but I'm really happy with the decisions made at tonights PPV. -Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels II: For a second there I was questioning WWE's commitment to this match. It's pretty damn clear it's going to go down, for better or for worse, for a second time. I give Undertaker the win here, for obvious reasons, but I'll give the WWE some credit with Batista's title win last night. They can shake things up sometimes. Undertaker will most LIKELY walk out the winner, but there's always that small amount of doubt... And by the way, nice touch turning HBK all the way tonight. -Chris Jericho(c) vs. Edge for the World Title: You know, I knew it was going to happen, but I didn't see it after Edge won the Rumble. I would not have give Jericho the title win tonight, and in such an ironic way? HBK and Jericho was the biggest feud of the last few years, and HBK ends up handing Jericho the belt? Very nice WWE, I like your style. This is anybody's ball game, but I feel like Edge is getting his push for being out injured. Jericho had his time last year, Edge's got cut short. However, Jericho could be rewarded for all the good work he's been doing lately in the tag division. This is anybody's guess in my opinion. -Batista(c) vs. John Cena for the WWE Title: So they're really going through with this, huh? I have to admit, it's more intelligent than I thought it was going to be. Batista has really screwed over Cena, and the match is now believable. What still isn't clear, is why Vince is so active in this. How are they handling the Hart vs. Vince story? My guess is that it will somehow be crafted into the WWE Title match at Mania. Maybe Batista is accompanied by Vince, and Brett Hart comes out at the last minute to make the save, giving Cena the title. -Shaemus vs. Triple H: This match is bound to happen now that Triple H beat him in the chamber. Neither of them have anything to do for the biggest show of the year, so why not? I still hate him, but Shaemus is getting a lot better in the ring and on the mic. He's still not great, but at least he's out of the main event, right? Let him face the Game, and if he wins against Triple H, you know he's going places. Because honestly, we know Triple H doesn't put people over easily, and that's especially true of WrestleMania. -Miz/Big Show vs. MVP/Mark Henry for the Tag Team Titles: Honestly, I would rather see MVP and Miz have a real match at Mania. They've been great together in the last month or so,but the tag titles have been pushed on us too much this year for them not to showcase the straps at Mania. And this match just makes sense. It's not perfect, and it's not even that great, but it makes sense. I'm looking for one of the big men to turn on the small guys. -Drew McIntyre vs. ? for the IC Title: Drew has been on fire lately, 100% due to Vince McMahon being high on him. Don't get me wrong, he's great, but he's being force-fed to us (but at least not to the point of Shaemus). Drew is still undefeated, and he's harolded as being unbeatable and great, so why not give him a real challenge. I know people will scream at this, but why not have Captain Charisma step into the ring with him? Christian can show up on Smackdown this next week and tell Drew that's he's one of the best IC champions of all time, and Drew has a lot to prove if he's going to make all these claims about himself. Go one step further, add Rey Mysterio to the mix. He's looking for a match, throw him in there. Add John Morrison to the mix and suddently you have a Cruiserweight throwdown with 4 of the best guys in the business today. Other thoughts: -I really don't know how they'll resolve Vince/Brett with him being "injured." I'm really dissapointed with the whole thing, but mostly with fans lack of enthusiasm for the greatest in-ring wrestler of all time... -I realize the WWE doesn't care about their attitude era fans anymore, but if you really want to make some young adults happy, throw Christian into the World title mix. Have Edge announce that he's facing Chris Jericho at Mania, and have Christian come down to just...I don't know. He doesn't even need an excuse. Just say, "Hello boys...It's been awhile. I want in." I mean, Christian has been at the core of Jericho and Edge in the past. Edge/Jericho, Edge/Christian, Christian/Jericho....it's all been done. Now have them tear each other apart on the biggest stage of them all... Wrestlemania! -The Diva's division is just terrible...they have SOME good talent (James, Pheonix, Gail Kim....ish) but...in general that's the bathroom break of the PPV. -I still feel that it's missing something. Without the MITB, what are they going to do? No more titles to fill, and so many Smackdown guys without matches! Kane, Mysterio, Morrison, Christian (eventually) need a match. __________________ Th moreVoting Question: is it really hard to get credit for a small business?
I have a small computer repair shop. I operate on tight tight finances and my policy has always been that any hardware sold has a 30 day replacement or repair warranty, and there is no warranty on software. I have had many happy customers buy computers from me and have computers repaired with me. I only accept cash, because there is no chargeback risk as with credit cards or checks. Recently I had a customer purchase a laptop from me, bring it back and say she is not happy with it. Claims it will not play video games her son wants to play on it. I told her it is not powerful enough. (Not enough ram or processor speed). There is nothing wrong with the computer. I can't afford to refund her but she claims its illegal to not refund money. My grocer charges $0.65 per transaction under $10.00. Is this legal? My bf and I own a business together, so everything earned, we both earn. The problem I am having is that his daughter is always wanting or needing to borrow money and when she borrows it's always 3 or 4 hundred. I don't mind giving it to her, since we do pretty well, but she never even offers to pay it back. I have a daughter as well, she is a single mom, gets no child support, and manages to pay her bills on her own. Occasionally she will ask for a small loan, and I give it to her, the difference is, she always pays me back and exactly when she says she will. Now his adopted son calls and asks for $1,000.00 so him and his wife can come down to visit. My bf says yes and gives him the credit card number to purchase the airline tickets. I know right now that we together will be paying that credit card bill, and I know that we will never see that thousand again. So, honestly what would you do in this situation? I know they are his kids, but it's half my money, I help earn it, and work very hard to just keep giving it away. Where is the responsibility? Should I put a stop to it, or demand it be paid back before they ask for more?I also have 4 sons, none of which ever borrow money, and if they did, sure I would give them a loan, but I would expect them to repay me. I wouldn't just give it to them. moreVoting Question: Does business's credit effect owner's personal credit score?
I already know it is like communism but I think this particular idea of it might be called something else. 1.)everyone is equal regardless of race or age or religion the only determining factor in acquiring a job is ability if you are either Strong enough or smart enough or both you get the job on a first come first served basis and cash is eliminated as currency for Business stores/groceries etc are credit based and cards are also eliminated either fingerprint 7/or retinal scan no rfid chips because dumb asses think that's the mark of the beast but cash will still be used for interpersonal trade such as prostitution or in other situations where the thumbprint idea would not work such as collection plates or poker in a home you take the cash to the bank and it is credited if you want it to buy food at a restaurant you can creditt cash you have and much like direct deposit you work for money and it is credited to your account. 2.)If you are hurt or unable to work a strenuous job you get a living wage stipend this is taken from the surplus of the workers that don't spend all of there paycheck(in another way to say it giving to charity is not a choice it just happens.) 3)medicine and schooling is free within limits if you go to colledge and study a particular thing and later get a job in that field then the state pays for it if you study but don't get a job the state takes the cost out of 1/2 the pay from the job you do get and if you can't live on the other half they suppliment food rations (like food pantries today)with the current fda approved diet they give you stuff they have record you didn't buy with the 1/2 of your pay you do get. 4)age of concent is exactly that when the partners both say yes and no one is hurt. 5)any drug that you can't overdose on is free. 6) as said previously medicine is free but I also said to an extent if it is cureable they cure it if it's a fatal disease they let you live and help you out but if you want to/ask to die they provide euthenasia for you. 7)voting is obligatory there is no penalty for which way you vote but everyone is made to that way you can't bitch about it if your guy wins. 8)you must live with someone for a year beforehand if you want to marry them. 9)the government will assign you a job if you ask for one if you are big stong and dumb they give you demolition if you are big strong ans smart you are the supervisor smart and weak you get a computer or filing job small and stupid you get the jobs they give retards.(cause they get the stipend thing mentioned earlier unless they want to work then they get a job accourding to there ability. 10)clothing shall be free but if you are in need of free clothes you must accept a uniform like a jumpsuit. 11)If you/your family already owns a farm and you can sustain yourself your share is divided amount the rest you can get an odd job when you need.want something and get it on that or you can barter your produce or your farm can be and industrial operation and you can get your credits that way. O.K. now ask questions about certain situations and how my system would cover them I'll answer with additional details check back and edit your answer accourdingly thank you for your timeto answer the question 1 it would be lead by a brain trust of the greatest intellectual minds and artistic people so that way it would be balanced The fingerprint scanner needs to sence that the finger is alive and attached to a bodyIt would be kinda like england with a royal family that creates laws and a government that desiminates them down to the people.The ruling/governmental body would be elected rule for life then when they die there is a presidential race and the people vote and that person rules for life and when they die people vot new guy it is kinda like how the pope system is only it is all the people not just the important ones the braintrust and the government would be two seperate entities but they govt. would be influenced by the braintrust and then the people would vot on the ideas they supply the presidents main job would be as ambassador and tiebreaker when votes are too close to call he is the desider he also has the authority to make laws (the people vote on them)and when they agree the law is put into affect if the people dissagree it is placed in an idea file and saved for a later date.Basically (I am calling him president but actually a king kinda) The king Rules and makes laws the people vote and it is put into effect.Under him (but with more power in practice less in title)is a group of great minds and great hearts to create and collaborate on ideas to help people out new sciences of agriculture and metalergy and medicine etc. then under them the individual what america would call the guy that runs the state I beleave senator they would take the news down to there town the governers of the cities they would in turn give the info to the mayors of towns and they would each hold an assembly in there respective towns and tell the people the news if no new laws were made that week there would be town business such as marriag announcements or births or deaths whatever happens to be local news that week sowe don't have newspapers to save paper.unless there is a 3rd answer before i get back and the question goes to voting give it to brandon.if there are only the 2 give it him more don't vote any. moreVoting Question: How to handle Legal Issue with a Gym.?
Hi. I am in the process of dealing with a legal issue with a business and I would like some input from anyone proffesional. I joined a gym about 9 months ago. There was NO contract. It just went on a month to month basis and renewed each month unless you cancel it a month in advance. I paid my first months fee in cash. I filled out my paperwork stating that I would like for my monthy fee to be taken out of a SAVINGS account on the first of each month. The next month, both of my cards were canceled, my access into the building was denied, and nothing was taken out of my bank account. On the 5th of that month, I called the gym manager to find out what was going on and he said that he accidentaly put in the computer system that my account type was CHECKING (which it wasn't). He said that in order for my to have my membership renewed, I would have to come in and pay another full month is cash. I never came in and my cards stayed CANCELED. Recently I pull my credit report and there is a 2 month charge for that gym. He put the right account type back in, but withdrew without me knowing about it while my cards still stayed canceled! Now I am being threatened to have my wages garnished. I am trying to go to small claims court because I don’t see how I could be liable for his mistake. HELP!!!!!!!! Is he right for doing this? moreVoting Question: i owne a small business and i need a credit card?
Can anyone help me on this. I run a small business and currently been involved with a scam, as much as I give it the benefit of the doubt. The scammer is from New York and I am from Boston. He asked to purchase $3000 worth of products and I was dumb enough to believe the COD shipping method. I did ask for credit card number but he offered to pay by check. So i sent it, and the delivery person collected the check and mailed it to me. I received the check and deposited it in my bank but after a few days the check bounced and I tried to contact the person but he kept prolonging the situation with he is going to wire the money the next day or he has money in the account. What are the legal actions I can do to get my money back or possibly arrest this person. I mailed it to their home address or atleast i believe its their home address. Thank you and I will really appreciate anyone's help.the COD is cash on delivery. When the shipment is sent, the receiver has to pay before receiving so can that be evidence moreVoting Question: is there some kind of relief or compromise available to pay off a high credit card debt?
I need a loan to pay off small credit card debt and build a business website. All I need is about 10,000 dollars. I would like to know which banks offer best personal loans? Anyway, which banks offer best personal loans? Thank you moreResolved Question: I owen a small cash buissens and want to start taking criedt and debit cards how do i do this.?
I just want to know how i can run credit and debit cards for payment trough a small home basted Businessa small cash bussiuss is a small bussiuss that only excepts cash as payment moreResolved Question: What can I do with credit limit decrease?
I don't know what to do now. I am a small business owner and have or had a good credit. Banks were dying to lend me money. The economy were good back then and my business was doing pretty good. So, I got offers from my business and personal credit cards with 0 interest rates. I admit I took out some loans and line of credit to hire employees and expand my business but I was good at paying bills on time. All of the sudden, I am not a good risk anymore. First bank of america decreased my credit limit to the balance owed then other banks followed. Now, I look like I max out on my credit cards and business line of credit and worse the banks use that as a reason to hike up my interest rate from 9% to 24.99. This is like a vicious cycle. I didn't max out my cards and before my limit were decreased I had plenty of cushion. This is sick. Banks lower my limit to make me look like I maxed out on my loans and they use this reason to hike up my interest rates. I have to let go 3 employees just to pay the banks. Now, the future looks pretty doom for my business and family. moreVoting Question: Can I file bankruptcy on business credit cards?
OK, this all started when the beginning of Year 10 began, and we had to start focusing on BTEC aka college work, and this friend of mine started to do Business. However, in after about five weeks time, she decided to move to my BTEC class, Performing Arts, and to be honest we do need to extra people along, and we are (kind of 'were' now) cool friends and we enjoy each other's company the past. So she asked me if I could make her a letter to the teacher so she can transfer to my class, which I was more than happy to do at the time. Then (my karma came), after she moved to Drama, the worst thing happened. She started to act like we're all 'smaller' people than her, and how she's going to be in the next Twilight movie (?!?), and how she doesn't need an agent to get her famous, and I'm like OK then, and I just ignored it. Then she got A LOT worse. Even outside of class she starts to get arrogant and annoying, I said hey to her one morning and she just ignored me and straight and hugged my other friend, and she starts to push me off when I joke around with her, and she shouts at me when I miss or forget my lines! Not being rude, but she was the late member in my Drama class and all of my other classmates are grounded, and we all had performing experience, whilst she doesn't, and just don't think about the 'fame' and just focuses on having fun, which I do to, even though I do have a somewhat a big-head, I don't boss around people and get the so-called fame in my head! And this week might be the most painful class I had with her, when the teacher asked us what we think we need to improve on she said how: 'We should try to memorize our lines a little better' And she looks at me like I'm some bastard?! I practically said to the teacher I can't work with her anymore and the others agreed with me as well. Then after class she lost her 'sim card' and she asks me if I have credit, with her nice and mellow attitude? I just ignored her and walked on. I swear, she turned into this monster and I want my old friend back!!! What do I do?! moreResolved Question: cnn we please plea donation country as japan,german,bothfrench,english canada by help haiticrisis moneydonate?
Having issues with Chase Payroll Card as I set direct deposit up.?
Hello all. I have a serious matter that is somehow getting out of hand. I am currently employed with At&t Mobility and work as a part time retail sales consultant in the state of Washington. I recently just moved up here from California on a temporary basis, and my main bank is back at home with a small credit union. At and t has an option to give payroll cards, which is issued by Chase and JP Morgan. I filled out the form on Dec. 5th, 2009. And i called back 4 days later to see the status of my card, which they had notified me that it was sent out already, and takes 7-10 business days. I waited and waited, nothing ever came. I called back customer care for the Chase pay card, and knowing that my direct deposit had already kicked in, with my next check going into the account in the 1st week of January, asked where the card was. I made a call on Dec. 30th, they said since I didn't get my card they can overnight it to me and have it expedited via Fedex. I waited till Jan. 3, never received that card that was supposed to be overnighted. The lady said she'd cancel the 2nd card, and send another one via Fedex again, and to wait till the 4th to get the card. I waited the next day, never got anything, and then called back, they said it takes TWO DAYS FOR OVERNIGHT DELIVERY, and that I should get it on the 5th. I never got a card, called again, asked to speak to a supervisor, this supervisor seemed to have a deep Indian accent, as if the call center was from India. He seemed to ignore my frustrations, as my check had already direct deposited to the Chase Paycard account. He said "he can fix the problem and re-issue me another card" which then I almost belligerently yelled he had not heard a word I was saying, and if he EVEN looked at the account at all, that he could have seen MULTIPLE cards generated. He said he resent another card, and I asked if there was anyother way to fix my problem. He said no. I waited again for Jan. 7th, nothing and almost 1000 dollars was already deposited to the account, and i have no card. I called another supervisor on the 7th, as I never got the card! They could not supply me a tracking number or anything. They inform me that they can "escalate" the matter to the "investigation team" and that I should get contacted in 2 business days. It never came. I called again, they said they are working on it. It has been 4 business days, and they say its Fedex's fault for never receiving it, yet a supervisor got fedex on the phone with me, and fedex is not at fault as they are saying it is the company's fault for not sending me the card. Someone said that it needs another day or so for the investigation to figure things out. They FINALLLY CALL me yesterday, saying I would get a card today, AND NOTHING. The company WILL NOT CUT ME A CHECK because they say I need to have a CARD ACTIVATED first, but shit, I never got a card in what now seems like 6 weeks!!!!! They wont transfer it to someone else's account for me, and I dont know how I can even get my damn money out of there. What can I do? I threatened them with a Lawyer, but im thinking if its hard to get a single debit card, how much more a check via standard mail??????? moreResolved Question: Small business owners on the web: What store front service do you use/recommend?
