DFL considers legal action

The Bonn-based authority recently approved the centralised marketing of the rights through DFL and media entrepreneur Leo Kirch only under the condition that the highlights of Saturday matches would be screened before 8pm on free-to-air television. Criticism & Compliments pleasee !! I'm eleven, by the way(: Early light seeped through the cracks of Marissa’s attic in New York. Marissa was extremely challenged to see what was in the box her mom was trying to hide from her sensitive daughter, so she got up thirty minutes earlier, 5:30. Although being fourteen in age, Marissa took place of a five year old, pouting and making a fuss when something didn’t go the right way. But she couldn’t help it for she had a disease which made her the way she was and couldn’t control her angry nor stress. Otherwise, she was a normal teenager; popular and proud. In the attic, Marissa clearly spotted a big brown box underneath a small, blue album full of photos. The big box clearly smelled like cottage cheese. “Gross,” she whispered to herself, plugging her nose with one hand. With the other, she slid the blue album off the box, making a ‘thud’. As she saw the box, she noticed that her mom taped it the day she placed it into the attic. Marissa left the album she was still holding steadily and quietly rushed to the kitchen counter. Like a mouse, she tried not to make the wood of the floor squeak because it would wake up her mom. Marissa successfully got two pocket knifes; one was green with flowers and the other was a part of her present from her father, who lived in Montana because of business. Her father was a wealthy man working for a person under Montana’s largest company, so he was usually busy. When he got a chance to come to the east side of the United States, he always brought a small gift and most importantly a warm and unforgettable hug. The gift was always something good, useful, and special to Marissa. When she was three years old, her dad got her a Cinderella lullaby, which she loved and took everywhere. When she was twelve years old, he got her a $200 gift card to her favorite store at the local mall. However, lately, Marissa’s dad was very busy and wasn’t able to visit his daughter since an year and two months. Marissa carefully got the green pocket knife and scraped it past the tape, when the box opened magically. It gleamed, it sparkled. It smelled like vanilla ice cream. It was a diamond necklace! But wait, there were scratches and cuts. Worse, there was still a tag on it, which meant it was new. “This has to be a mistake!” she cried to herself. Even a few tears rolled down Marissa’s cold, pale cheek. When those tears touched her mouth, she grimaced at the saltiness. And this, was the way she acted, as a five year old, when she was actually fourteen. She couldn’t comprehend exactly why the necklace looked horrible and not in shape. With her empty hands, she reached towards the box to grab the jewelry, but saw a neon sticky-note flashing towards her view. It seemed like it was meant to be, to catch her attention. She first glanced at the bottom of the note, to discover who the necklace was from. “Why would my father mail me an ugly necklace?!” she shockingly said with her now-cracked voice. At this time, Marissa could hear footsteps from her mom on the second floor, getting off of her bed. Marissa wasn’t even able to read the whole note, and decided to do it another time. How strange would it be to find your daughter in the attic at 6:00 A.M.? Very strange. So, to not make her mom suspicious at any rate, she went out of the attic quickly and quietly. Scurrying up the stairs to at a time, but stepping very lightly. “Phew,” Marissa said to herself after her last, long breath, when she laid down on her twin-sized bed. Luckily, her mom was back sitting on her own bed, figuring out what she had to do that day. “Well, I need... Well, first, I need to go to work and after during my break, go to the market, return to work, and go home. Technically, that’s not a busy day. Mm, okay,” she said to herself. As quickly as can be, she got off the bed and called out Marissa’s name, to wake her up through the hallway. Obviously, her mom believed that she was still dreaming, heavily sleeping in heaven. Marissa led a sigh of relief under her covers and a loud, audible yawn. Marissa got out of bed and looked at herself in a full-view mirror. She inspected herself to find anything different about herself that might be a clue to why her dad would send her a non-valuable necklace. First of all, she noticed that she was still in her striped pajama pants and an oversized t-shirt. Her hair was in the muddy brown colored and messy, as usual in the mornings, so nothing was especially different. She looked through her closet to find her purple, plaid shirt, a pair or worn jeans, and a red zip-up jacket. Her good and expensive jeans were all in the laundry basket, but her mom never got to do the laundry and never put it on her list of things to do. But of course she does it one day or another. While her feet adjusted in her running shoes, she swiftly ran a brush through her thick hair, but it was still put and messy. “Hurry and come down Marissa!” she heard more

My dad gave me his old MAC laptop a while back. Well I finally got the hang of it and am starting to go through it and delete his stuff on it and it turns out he had it connected to his blackberry and iphone, etc. Which means all of his e-mails copy themselves and go to all three places, along to his current computers. I have been getting duplicates all this time of all of his e-mails he has been receiving and sending for the past year and half I have had the computer and he didn't realize it, and neither did I till now. I think he forgot to turn that off. If that whole process makes sense. Well anyway I was going through the other day and deleting all of his e-mails and not paying any mind to what I was deleting, cause it wasn't any of my business, until one opened up on accident and I was caught off gaurd. It was to some weird Shemale site. Once I started looking closer at what I was deleting it turned out a lot of my dad's e-mails were to confirmations for "Thank you for using our escort service," signing up for this adult friend finder website, etc. There are hundreds of e-mails like this. There are also several subscriptions to paid websites, like over 10 where he has to pay between $18 and $70 a month to subscribe to them. My parents aren't rich. They have always struggled. And I used to help my parents go through there bills a few years ago and sort them out and I always rememberd asking my dad "What does ccbill.com stand for?? And he would never answer me. There would be tons of charges for ccbill.com listed but he would never tell me. Guess what ccbill.com stands for? It is what all of these porn and fetish sites use to coverup on the credit card bills so no one knows what you actually pay for. Which means my dad has been doing this for several years. I'm so mad I don't know what to do and I don't want to hurt my mom. And in one e-mail to this woman he sent back and forth, around Thanksgiving, she kept thanking him for all the "presents she had received throughout the year?" what does that mean? That he sends her stuff? My parents have been married for 29 years this June. I never knew. My mom I don't think knows. And it turns out going through this my dad, after I logged onto one of his websites he created with the friend finder things, is bisexual. He is claiming to be a couple years younger and is saying he is bisexual. It isn't a joke. The e-mails date a couple of years back. There are even e-mails where he tells women and escorts to come to the house when he knows my mom will be at work. What do I do? He doesn't know I know??? It is creepy to know that there are people that have been in my parents bed and in my house that have seen my photos. And they know he is married. He tells them "Not today, my wife is here. Not today I have to do something with my son, etc." And he has answered ads on craigslist too. He has even gone to visit my mom where she works and when he has gotten bored found an escort to keep him occupied. He has clearly done it a couple of days before Christmas and Thanksgiving, days which should be spent with family. Times we thought he was working. I mean do you think my mom knows and this is why she works as far away as she does? Why she took a job as far away as she did? They seem happy. They don't argue. They talk regularly. They kiss, they hug. They agree on everything. You would NEVER know. They just work far apart. I just wonder if my mom has a blind eye. My mom works 3 hours away and so they see eachother on weekends, which I think is how my dad has been able to pull this off. My dad had also travelled several months out of the year for a lot of their relationship. I am married now and don't live at home, but I never saw any hint of this. If my mom did she never let on. So what do I do? Say nothing and act like nothing is wrong? Delete the e-mails? Or keep them as evidence down the road? Confront my dad? I can't just ask my mom, that seems like something my dad should do, right? My grandma, my dad's mom, has always suspected my dad of this. Gut feeling I guess. And it turns out she was right. She has been ostracized from the family for it because we all thought she was crazy. My parents seemed happy. So do I go to her? I am just so confused, and my husband doesn't know what to do either. Voting Question: recording a phone call?

Okay I own photo card business, and sometimes I go to Walmart to get some cards printed. I went today and the manager was being an a-hole. I submit 2-3 orders online separatly and when I get there they combine my order into one. So I get the a discount if I order 100 or more. Never had a problem. Since I go to the store often I see this manager often around the store and carries himself as "God gift to Walmart" Okay so the manager is in the photolab today (shortstaffed) and when I am about to combine my orders and the photo clerk (a young girl) says she does not know how to do it. So she gets the manager who refuses to do it due to company policy,because it is a separate orders. I am also a photographer and I can tell you that I have not heard of this. All the photolab managers do it without a problem. So I tell him If I refuse to take the order and resubmit the order will you then apply the discount? He said that was the only way!! He kept on saying "company policy" but with a big smile on his face. Does this make sense? He was willing to reprint them and throw away the previous orders. Okay so I go home in disbelief and pissed, and decide to call him, and ask him how can this be? He was being rude and sarcastic and telling me company policy, and that all the other Walmart were not follwing company policy. I realize that I am talking on my company phone and that the phone call is being recorded. So I tell him, If I forward the call to upper management who what would they they think? He said "This is illegal and I'm calling the cops" We'll the cops aren't at my door yet... :) So it is illegal to tape a conversation, but it depends if a place of business normally records their conversations then, it is okay. Resolved Question: Creating Holiday Cards: Tips? Design, Photography, Cost?

Hi, I just finished a graphic design program. I also own a petcare business. I would like to start a side business offering my petcare clients design work. Specifically, I would like to offer to design clients' holidays cards for friends and family. What is the best way to go about this? I am a decent photographer. I also am a decent designer. So, should I buy blank car stock and design and print out 3-4 templates of designs, each with an attached photograph taped in the middle? If I use a printing shop, they will charge me an arm and a leg to print only 4 samples. But I can't print a full bleed with printer at home, not to mention the quality wouldn't be great. Or do I just find cute pre-designed Christmas cards with a photo spot and only worry about taking the photograph? But I would assume that most clients would want a personalized message inside. And how much money could I really make if I didn't design it? But the outside printing would already be done, so that would save some money, maybe? So , what do you suggest? Has anyone done this on a small scale? I have 15 clients and I would guess that 7-8 of them will take me up on the holiday card design. I am assuming that each client will order 50-60 cards, at least. What do I charge? What is the most cost efficient way to do this? more
