I'm 17 and I feel like I'm stuck in a bad situation. I lost all of my friends bc my parents deprived me of a phone, internet, and anything for such a long time. They don't even care, my dad said that friends aren't important and I should just go to school and get a job. I go out everyday to get away from them bc if I stay in I will get yelled at for just sitting there, minding my own business. I don't stay out late, I come home at the same time everyday, 10, and if i do stay out it's on the weekends but I still get yelled at even though I have no relationship with them. My mom called me a whore and said I go out looking for guys when I have had the same boyfriend for 2 years. My parents hate my boyfriend and they don't even know him. I tried introducing him to my parents and my dad was like he's a loser why are you dating him, and so he's never at my house bc i don't want my dad saying things to him.They just always find a reason to yell at me. I never get money or anything and my dad never buys me clothes, not even for school. I am a senior in high school and I've been wearing clothes that I've had since I was in the 7th grade, and that makes them think I have clothes. Half of the clothes in my closet belong to my best friend. When I get sick they don't care, I don't go to a doctor, I don't think I've been to the doctors since I was about 6 bc they just don't care. So unlinke the rest of the world i don't have a doctor, dentist or anything. My dad is always telling me I'm useless and that I should get a job, and when I finally got one he's like oh your job sucks you make dirt money it costs more to drive there than what you make. There's just no pleasing him. When i got into high school he was like oh you're so lazy why don't you join a sport so i joined the track team. I had them picking me up from practice everyday and one day my dad was like i bet you don't even go to practice you can't run, i bet you're doing something else everyday until 5 30 so i just quit track. I get A's & B's in school and my dad tells me I'm stupid and need to do better. When i want food they just tell me i'm 17 and can cook for myself, even though no one has bothered to teach me how. My mom always tries to "sneak" and go to the store without me bc she doesn't want me buying food and when i do go she yells at me for grabbing like one thing.They never give me rides anywhere, and my friend's parents always have to bring me back and forth which is rude. When my friends say hi to my mom she gives them dirty looks. My friend needed to call her mom once so I asked my mom if i could use her phone and she told me to get out of her face. I've been battling them ever since i can remember and i can't stand it. they are just so ignorant. When my sister got cancer my mom never wanted to visit her in the hospital and my sister would just call me crying everyday begging me to ask my mom to go see her. i could go on for years about how much they suck and how heartless and not normal they are. How do i get out of this house where i only get yelled at and everything i do is wrong. I never hear anything good come out of my parents. Sure i have a roof over my head blah blah blah my dad is always pulling that card out, and saying we gave you life this and that. well they gave me alife that i hate and i'm not happy. Open Question: I'd like to become a home-based debt collector...?

I'd like to become a debt collector. Work in my own home, collecting debts. I have no idea how to go about this. I think that after I get licensed I can start asking around random small companies to let me handle their debt. (I live in a semi-small town, so this shouldn't be too hard to do.) Where can I get licensed to collect debts for the state of Utah? I'd like to start out very small, not handling too many accounts. Do I even need a license for this state? Also, I would like some tips on starting my own personal business in this field. How should I approach people? Should I get cards made up with my name and make up a company name as well? Do I need to apply for this as a business? I'd like as much information as possible, but only from people that have direct experience. I have done a lot of searching on the internet and have been thinking about this for over 10 years. Dear All, I have just recently joined a company as a sales person. Before this job I used to work for a bank for last 5 years in a back office function, which is totally different from a sales job. I have started making field calls.Initailly I am doing the cold calling on propective clients.Our product is basically for corporate purpose.So I have to knock on lots of office doors. Problem is that the receptionist or a clerk often doesn't allow me to meet the decision maker who makes the purchasing decision.They say that the person is busy, out of town, that they already have a supplier for this product, we hardly use this product, etc etc.I ask for business card mentioning the name & number of the person, so I can call them for appointment.Mostly I do get the business cards, but again the same receptionist/clerk picks up the phone & say the same thing that the person is unavailable, not interested, etc etc. Please all guys tell me how do I get past the gatekeeper, meet the main decision maker & close a sales.If I don't achieve my sales target, then I have to start searching for a job !!! I have got this job after being jobless for a long time, so I want to hold this job. Opening a tanning salon(something neat and sophisticated looking.) has been in my plans since I was about 14. All during high school I was home schooled and I worked for my dad cleaning newly constructed houses/businesses before they were put on the market for sale or lease. That is until things went under and he had to file for bankruptcy on all of the residential and commercial real estate that he developed. The I went to Costco for 2 years. From the 4 or so years I worked during school, I hoarded nearly every penny I made so I could fulfill my dream as an entrepreneur when I graduated from high school. Right after graduating from the Fulton County Public School System, I was set and went out looking for SOMETHING else to do to start my career in a self-owned business. Everything exceeded what my budget was set on until my dads good friends' dad was retiring and selling his repo company. So, I knew then at that time that was my opportunity. Luckily he allowed me to finance everything since he owned the stuff and he also let me walk in his lot that he's now leasing to me. So I've been in the repossession/recovery business for over a year now and with the economy HOPEFULLY shaping up, I've really been thinking about getting rid of my trucks & selling everything(of course after I have another main source of income coming in). The main reason is because I fear in about 2-3 years from now, this economy will have improved greatly and there won't be as much recovery work to cover all of my expenses associated with my company. ---OK so now my story about my young life is over, I'll get to my main concern- Although I'm only 19 now, I've had credit since I was 15(I lied about my DOB on credit card apps which has now been corrected with all 3 credit bureaus). Every since then I ALWAYS did right and kept my credit immaculate as it still is. My Transunion FICO through MyFico is at 738 and is slowly rising as my accounts grow older and as my personal vehicle is on its way to being fully paid off. I do have credit cards, but have $0 in credit card debt. Since Mar. 8th 2009 to Dec. 31st 2009, my company has grossed approx. $480K. That number may be fairly large, but considering I have 3 other drivers/employees I pay commission to, repo insurance(nearly $13K for not even the full year), rent on my ex-car lot(just over $20K for not even the full year), tax, all utilities, and after going ahead and paying my "agent" off for financing the PC's, software, trucks etc., that number was lowered significantly. Fortunately, 2010 so far is just as busy as it has been for the past 10 months and I'm even having to send repo orders back to finance companies from not having enough time to do them all(I'm not buying another truck). Like I said, I'm really thinking about going into the tanning business and it's a decision I'll have to make between now and the next 2-3 years. Would someone like me at my age(I will be 21-22yo then) have a hard time being approved for a $300K+ loan with the following factors: Company grossed $480K.(Honestly I want to leave this out of the app.) I netted about $110K during the last 3 quarters of '09.(before all of my personal bills/expenses.) I have roughly $80K in assets(2 recovery trucks, a money market account, and other misc. things). I have 3 checking accounts(2 personal, 1 business) I have 2 savings accounts. I have tax forms that have been filed and I also have bank and broker statements to prove my income. I have above average+ personal credit but no business credit.(no debt besides personal vehicle which will be paid off in 2 years or sooner) I have the knowledge, skill and common sense to know how to properly run a business. I can produce a legitimate business proposal. Hopefully within the next 2 or so years all of my assets and everything else will have grown.(if it doesn't there's a problem. lol) I know this is a lot of info, but my life ahead is really sticking to my nerves and I need support. I saw how my dad went from one minute having a lot of real estate to the next minute having to dig into his retirement money, and I want to avoid this by all means possible. I could be making a mistake by wanting to stop repossessing vehicles but as I said, I feel when this economy shapes up I won't even be grossing enough to cover everything and I don't want to lose my ***. The big question, how will banks view my status when attempting to obtain a commercial loan for roughly $300K? Would it be best if I go through the SBA? My daughter has gone to the same preschool since she was about 10 months old. There are three "daycares" within the business. One group is infants, one is toddlers, and one is preschool. She had a set of teachers from 10 months to 2 yrs. She has been with the same teachers since she was 2 now. She will be 5 in July. Anyway, I've moved her preschool closer to where I work so she could adjust to the daycare she'll be going to when she starts kindergarten.... I am aware there are certain risks, which are of a significant importance to opening The Cinnamon Stick cafe. The main risk is that I am not skilled in opening up a new enterprise and have never embarked on such a project before. It is known that the majority of any entrepenurial ventures fail. This could result in my business failing to survive. One of the factors which contribute to the failing of a business is due to self-employed people not having previous experience in engaging in an occupation of being an entrepeneur. Some () is that I may have competition or complacency. Competition would normally occur with other restaurants or cafes nearby with a more significant degree if they are to sell the same foods which are consumed by customers. The problem in this context is that my cafe is an international cafe selling foods and drinks of cuisines from around the world. This would mean that it is likely to be nearby restaurants or cafes with the same foods. To keep ahead of this is such a thing was to occur I would be essential to sustain a competitive advantage. I may need to lower prices of certain foods to maintain a sufficient amount of money. For some time I've always figured myself different from other people - or I'm better than other people. I'm not sure what it is, because I've never actually thought about it too seriously, even as I type this and try to express what I'm trying to convey. I watch people, their actions and reactions seem redundant to me, yet I find myself having to follow these examples to get what I want – Why do people feel I always offend them? Why do they care that I’ve offended them? Why do people ask me to tell them about myself (I find this an extremely intrusive question), which people say I have difficulty answering and become evasive? I was physically and mentally abused as a young child by the person who was suppose to be looking after me, this was encouraged by my mother, who would say that this carer should beat and me and my brother in whatever way she chooses – I still have the physical scars to this day to which my mother has gracefully ignored through the time I grew up (And when I look at my brother, I know he will never have a normal life). I find it difficult to talk to my mother because – I used to have panic attacks when walking past people in the street or in crowded places when I was young. My heart use to RACE and I would be on the verge of bludgeoning them if they so much as asked me a question about directions or inquired about what a nice day it was – Girls used to come up and ask me out and want to know about me, and I use to violently attack them. I think this stopped when my mum sent me away to Jamaica – My grandma/Pa had a dog there I liked (it never asked questions and was always nice), my grandma and grandfather used to tie it to a tree because they had cats. I didn’t like this, so I took the cats, and pretty much fed them to the dog (It would shred apart any cat I fed it until it was dead), then I would tell my grandmother that the cats used to get too close to the dog, she had no idea what I was up to. I didn’t enjoy or dislike killing them I was indifferent, it was never part of the equation for me, I just wanted the dog set free so I could spend time with it – My grandparents finally got the point to not waste money on stupid animals that would get close to a larger predator, I would go deeper into the things I did but it’s not something I wish to discuss yet – What I’m trying to say is that’s when my life became simpler. But anyway, I’m 24 now, and I feel I have some control over my demons, I can walk the street, make conversation without feeling the need to attack anyone (As long as it’s not about me for some reason – and when it is it hasn’t gotten physical because I’m usually very brief) – Nobody knows about my past, I’m not even sure I remember all of it. My point is when I talk to her I feel I am regressing and falling back into bad habits, the only solution I have for this is to put a gun in my mouth and pull the trigger. I’d rather not have anything to do with her. I haven’t seen her in a long time – I’ve never sent Christmas or birthday cards or anything like that since I don’t even know how old she is (When I asked her when I was young she use to tell me to “Mind your own fucking business”), even if I did know I wouldn’t waste the money. Let me start off by saying I don't need people telling me we screwed up. I get the idea we're in a huge mess. I need help and advice on how to get everything organized and get our life back on track. My husband and I have around 10k credit card debt, in collections, from about 3 years ago. He had lost his job and while I tried to get things paid, it didn't happen. Now, last September we moved in with his best friend into a 2 bedroom apartment. Everything was going fine, we weren't in the best money situations, he has 1 credit card he was trying to build his credit with and I had 2, a credit card and a gas card. November, we found out I was pregnant. While we were excited, we were also scared because we obviously weren't very good with money. I started planning on how were were going to get through this mess. I work full time, 40 hours a week and make 16.22 an hour. Other bills we have are a storage unit ($92.00/month) and cell phone ($150.00/month, but are working on cutting it way down) Then at the start of December... my husbands work lost business and so my husband lost his job, again. The previous mess started to return. We got into a fight with his friend because we could no long afford to live there. (No longer on speaking terms now) and we moved back home to my mom's house. Hubby has since found a job 40hrs at 9an hour, but at least its something. We are behind on all of our credit cards, so far have made an agreement with one. Now, I know what your thinking, since hes working again, wheres the problem? The problem is my mom's house is a wreck! It's a freaking mess, the kitchen doesn't work (no frig, no stove) and neither does the shower. I've tried to get my family to help fix up the place, but they start and then stop. Bear with me, this is a bit lengthy. I am female, nearly 40 with family, especially 76 year old father coaxing me to pursue a college degree to land "secure employment" with benefits. Let me shed a little light with regards to my particular situation. I reluctantly graduated high school in '88 *wishing I'd repeated that year citing personal reasons* and, with the persistence of both my parents, began that fall in community college, randomly choosing a major to 1) get my parents off of my back and 2) declare a major just for the sake of declaring a major. My grandfather put away money since the time I was a baby in the stock market for my college, but I used it to fulfill transportation, living expenses and a trade school instead *I had always wanted to be a barber -- since the age of five* This, not surprisingly, was an unacceptable aspiration and, several years later, continued to be coaxed to finish a four-year-degree. This time, not only by my grandfather, but also my father and my younger brother and his wife. To make an insanely long story short, I spent those 20+ years traveling, barbering *for 15 years total*, working in various administrative positions in various industries and had a blast, along the way, doing so. There's one drawback: I have an extremely tiny retirement *my fault*, no benefits other than health insurance through my ex *not that I consider THAT a benefit -- more so a necessity* and some of the best income produced of any field I worked in in the barbering industry, $6000/mo, to be exact. Not too shabby. Still, the barber *out of work, currently* that I am, and the part-time entrepreneur *in another field* that I've become, my family still hounds me about that four-year college degree. Now, I am no dummy. I can do math *citing reasons to be diswayed by bloated interest rates for student loans* and I know my personality. The biggest problem with regards to attending college or, shall I say, the biggest problemS with regards to attending college right now *for my personal situation* are the following: -- I cannot sit still through classes, much less sit still through four full years, more if I need to go part time. -- There's not one major in college that I care to pursue. Not ONE. -- Not that I have anything against them, nor do I realize that all fall within this category, but I don't want a white collar position. No offense to white collar workers. My whole family is white collar. I am the only one who isn't. -- I can do math. I am not stupid. I know what I would need to repay for student loans after private, public or community colleges. I shudder with the thought of even having a debt of $5000. I don't have credit card debt. I don't own a credit card *my wisdom*. I have marginal medical debt *thank you, knee surgeries and asthma issues!*, but that only totals an amount in the ball park of $2000 -- manageable, comparitively speaking. I don't wish to repay loans once I hit the age when I begin drawing social security. I don't qualify for a grant -- still *legally* married, and I don't qualify for academic scholarships, grades aren't good enough, thanks to my high course withdrawal rate and F's for failing to withdraw courses once I unofficially dropped them back in the late 80's. -- I want to own a business when the opportunity arises and don't see it as a possibility by taking out student loans. There's no such thing as good debt/bad debt. It's ALL debt and I'd rather be debt free once the time permits to apply for a small business loan. So, there you have it. My life in a fairly sizeable nutshell. Question is this: How do I effectively explain to my family, once and for all, that I am NOT college-bound and that I have other, more important, more attractive aspirations? I made an account on exploretalent.com a little while back, I had saw it advertised about casting calls and this stuff so I signed up for a free account. Once it told me I had to pay to submit for any audition I was like ehh whatever and forgot about it. Then I got a phone call today from a man, he kind of had an accent so it was a little hard for me to understand everything he was saying, that and trying to keep my son quiet so I could talk on the phone lol He basically was saying he wanted to be my agent, talked about making me business cards with my picture on them and wanted to submit me for a role in a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Resolved Question: Questions concerning mark. cosmetics?

I'm thinking about selling mark. cosmetics. I'm 19 years old and attending college for a degree in business management. I understand I will not make a living and I don't plan on selling mark. to make a great deal of money, I just think it will be fun and something my friends and classmates will be interesting in buying and love. I'm very concerned with giving them my credit card number but I understand it is necessary, so my first question is what exactly do they charge your credit card for? I am aware of the $20 start up fee, and the orders that are placed will obviously be charged on my card as well, but what else is there? How much is shipping for the products and do I have to pay for that as well? To my understanding, there isn't a monthly amount of orders I have to place, correct? A lot of things I am reading online is that people order a large amount of product expecting it to sell and then are stuck with the extra and can not return it. Would it be reasonable to only order product when there is a request from a customer? I understand I'll have to buy product for myself and for sampling purposes so they can see it on someone, but other than that I don't see why I should have to order large sums to sell with out people ordering it in the first place. Voting Question: Should I give or keep the jacket I bought for her when I wish to break up?

Okay, so the girlfriend and I are in a long-distance relationship and on her 20th birthday, I bought her this jacket from Guess (she's always wanted their clothes) and since that day, I called her wishing her a happy birthday and that I have a surprise for her and never told her about this jacket. Of course, she was extremely excited and could not wait to see what it was. Well, let's fast forward ahead. It's been three months already and I feel this relationship is really hard to keep on, at least on my side. It's becoming hard for me with a full-time job and all that jazz and it's really starting to wear me down and I am not ready to make a commitment for a relationship, let alone a long-distance relationship. So I decided I am going to come back to her and tell her what's going on in my mind. Should I give her this "surprise" that I promised her? Or ... would this cause her more pain and sorrow? Voting Question: How to make the most of my per diem when on a company credit card?

I'm going on a business trip for a week and I'm allowed $66 a day for food. I'm using a company credit card which means the transactions will be shown on their credit card statement, so I have to buy things from restaurants.I know I'll probably only spend like $25 a day on food so I'm trying to figure out ways I can spend that extra money on other stuff. One idea was to purchase mugs and ground coffee from starbucks. Anyone have any other ideas? more

Resolved Question: WrestleMania 26 Match Card?

Well, with the Elimination Chamber PPV behind us now, it's a little easier to see what's going down for this year's Wrestlemania. I may be the only one, but I'm really happy with the decisions made at tonights PPV. -Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels II: For a second there I was questioning WWE's commitment to this match. It's pretty damn clear it's going to go down, for better or for worse, for a second time. I give Undertaker the win here, for obvious reasons, but I'll give the WWE some credit with Batista's title win last night. They can shake things up sometimes. Undertaker will most LIKELY walk out the winner, but there's always that small amount of doubt... And by the way, nice touch turning HBK all the way tonight. -Chris Jericho(c) vs. Edge for the World Title: You know, I knew it was going to happen, but I didn't see it after Edge won the Rumble. I would not have give Jericho the title win tonight, and in such an ironic way? HBK and Jericho was the biggest feud of the last few years, and HBK ends up handing Jericho the belt? Very nice WWE, I like your style. This is anybody's ball game, but I feel like Edge is getting his push for being out injured. Jericho had his time last year, Edge's got cut short. However, Jericho could be rewarded for all the good work he's been doing lately in the tag division. This is anybody's guess in my opinion. -Batista(c) vs. John Cena for the WWE Title: So they're really going through with this, huh? I have to admit, it's more intelligent than I thought it was going to be. Batista has really screwed over Cena, and the match is now believable. What still isn't clear, is why Vince is so active in this. How are they handling the Hart vs. Vince story? My guess is that it will somehow be crafted into the WWE Title match at Mania. Maybe Batista is accompanied by Vince, and Brett Hart comes out at the last minute to make the save, giving Cena the title. -Shaemus vs. Triple H: This match is bound to happen now that Triple H beat him in the chamber. Neither of them have anything to do for the biggest show of the year, so why not? I still hate him, but Shaemus is getting a lot better in the ring and on the mic. He's still not great, but at least he's out of the main event, right? Let him face the Game, and if he wins against Triple H, you know he's going places. Because honestly, we know Triple H doesn't put people over easily, and that's especially true of WrestleMania. -Miz/Big Show vs. MVP/Mark Henry for the Tag Team Titles: Honestly, I would rather see MVP and Miz have a real match at Mania. They've been great together in the last month or so,but the tag titles have been pushed on us too much this year for them not to showcase the straps at Mania. And this match just makes sense. It's not perfect, and it's not even that great, but it makes sense. I'm looking for one of the big men to turn on the small guys. -Drew McIntyre vs. ? for the IC Title: Drew has been on fire lately, 100% due to Vince McMahon being high on him. Don't get me wrong, he's great, but he's being force-fed to us (but at least not to the point of Shaemus). Drew is still undefeated, and he's harolded as being unbeatable and great, so why not give him a real challenge. I know people will scream at this, but why not have Captain Charisma step into the ring with him? Christian can show up on Smackdown this next week and tell Drew that's he's one of the best IC champions of all time, and Drew has a lot to prove if he's going to make all these claims about himself. Go one step further, add Rey Mysterio to the mix. He's looking for a match, throw him in there. Add John Morrison to the mix and suddently you have a Cruiserweight throwdown with 4 of the best guys in the business today. Other thoughts: -I really don't know how they'll resolve Vince/Brett with him being "injured." I'm really dissapointed with the whole thing, but mostly with fans lack of enthusiasm for the greatest in-ring wrestler of all time... -I realize the WWE doesn't care about their attitude era fans anymore, but if you really want to make some young adults happy, throw Christian into the World title mix. Have Edge announce that he's facing Chris Jericho at Mania, and have Christian come down to just...I don't know. He doesn't even need an excuse. Just say, "Hello boys...It's been awhile. I want in." I mean, Christian has been at the core of Jericho and Edge in the past. Edge/Jericho, Edge/Christian, Christian/Jericho....it's all been done. Now have them tear each other apart on the biggest stage of them all... Wrestlemania! -The Diva's division is just terrible...they have SOME good talent (James, Pheonix, Gail Kim....ish) but...in general that's the bathroom break of the PPV. -I still feel that it's missing something. Without the MITB, what are they going to do? No more titles to fill, and so many Smackdown guys without matches! Today i ordered something from a website. When i was proceeding to check out, my computer started to act up. I wasn't to for sure if my order went through. I just went on the website and check my account. It said that i order the same thing 3 times and that i couldn't edit it, because it was in it's final stages of being processed or already sent for shipped. I only receive only 1 email for one order, not the other two orders with a different confirmation number. I just sent a e-mail to the company explaining that there was a mistake and two cancel two of them orders. I did give them the two orders confirmation number that I seen on my account that i have with the website. i just want to know what to do. How can i really make sure that those two orders i wanted cancel be canceled for sure. Can i call my credit card company and tell them my situation. and oh yeah the shipping is with in 3-6 business days. Resolved Question: Does anyone know or have an idea on how to make a claim against uninsured Ambullette Company?

My car was involved in an auto accident few days ago, and driver who hit my car states that due to heavy fall of snow he lost control of his vehicle causing him to side wipe "Two Parked Vehicles." He gave police officer an old insurance card which was terminated but expiration date was still valid. So officer did not issue a ticket to a driver. I was going to file an auto claim with the old policy and found out that this policy terminted due to change of an owner ship of the ambullette company. I went to the police station and asked for a license plate search but all they can found was old policy informations which was expired last year (Sep.2009) so I decided to contact the driver who hit my car. He cooperated, he gave me a copy of his new insurance policy which he got after the accident. He was saying that his boss gave him a new insurance card to carry in his vehicle after the accident. New insurance policy began on 17th of Feb. 2010 and the old policy expired on Oct.11 2009 which means this vehicle was not insured for about 5 months. Accident occured on Feb.10.2010 I haven't call the insurance company yet since it's friday evening, but I doubt they will pay for the damage on my car. Should bring this to a small claims court? What if repair costs exceed more than $3000? Small claims court only pays maximum of $3000 if you win. Isn't it crime to run a business without an auto insurance for 5 months? They did not receive any warnings or letters from DMV? How could not have a Valid insurance when they're in Ambulance service business? Please Help! Any help will be highly appreciated. Low and behold I lost my crappy job in November, Got drunk on the job. Yes alcoholic. However, I always found a way to get money to get booze. A few years ago I had an incident where I totally got thrown into confusion all day. I took all the strong prescription pills, that in the past would chill me right out, but this time around, it was like a placebo. Only thing to give me energy was drinking. Not everyday, but about 3 times a week. I talked to a counsellor 6 months ago, and I told her, I would never steal for alcohol (this was while I was working of course). So when my parents go out, I sneak around lookin for cash. All I needed was an extra five to get a six pack, however I came across $100 in american money (im canadian), and I spent it all on alcohol. A month goes by, I get desperate again, I was looking for my moms sleeping pills, but I come across her bank card, and I know the pin number. So I end up going on a 2 day bender costing 400 bucks (not just me but 3 other people too). Parents find out, are totally pissed, told me how they were going to call the cops, but didn't. The other week, I actually grabbed a 40 pounder of canadian club whiskey and just blatently walked out the door. The guy isn't allowed to chase me, and I always paid cash there. Now today, I had only drank 3 times in the last 2 months. Pretty good right. However I start sneaking around my parents stuff. Going into the computer room, going into their walk in closet, going through their drawers (where i found the american money) and I couldn't find anything. So I find 2 credit cards in my moms little purse. I know I could walk into a liquor store and buy stuff with it, however my mom would notice that on her bill. so just tried to take money out from the bank. It didn't work. So i walked 5 mins back home. I was like fine, I won't get booze, and I'm not stealing a 40 pounder (because my dad found out and was so dissapointed). But I am a sneaky guy. I know places to look. So I look under my parents matress, and find some of my sleeping pills there. So i just take 2, so my mom won't notice. Than i goto her bedside and I start flipping pages in her novels and self help books, because I know people hide money in there. Well I found nothing. So I go back into the walk in closet, and there's a pile of books. And i keep flippin through them, I found a business card. Than I grab the second to last book, flip through it. There's 40 bucks sittin there. LIKE WTF, I have never done this before. So i just take a 20, and get someone to by me beer at the beerstore that i stole from. I didn't want to be seen. I feel sooo guilty the next few days, I replay it all, and I feel absolutely disgusting, because I grew up in a nice family, and had the world at my fingertips. I feel ashamed (as I should) and guilty because I have dishonored my parents, yet I've done this like 4 times. Than there is all my grandma's gold necklaces and pendats, pearl necklaces, bracelets, the whole nine yards sittin in my parents drawer.......however I will never do that, because I had to pick my dead grandma up off the ground, and see her tiny little body dead. But where does it end? This is all within a half a year. Prior to that I might have taken 5 bucks from my parents. And yes, I have mental illnesses and all the rest. I am totally christian, and believe that what you steal you pay back 10 times in return. The Big Question is, is there room in heaven for someone like me when I die? Jesus died for my sins, and I know that, yet it doesn't give me a free ticket to sin. So what's your verdict? and btw, this is totally true. not a word of a lie, I am actually typing from Vancouver, winter olympics. Do I go to church? Do i go ask my psych for new presription drugs? do I goto an alcohol rehabilitaion. I want to make my dad proud. If he dies before I accomplish something, I will die too.They know I stole $400 from them, They know I stole a 40 pounder from the store, they know that I have sold stuff on craigslist just to get alcohol. And yes I am putting my parents through hell. My mom has 3 types of arthritis. 2 plastic hips, a carbon fibre thigh bone. Broken toes and pins nailed into them to make them straight. My mom always criticises me. I personally think I do well in school and sports but she ALWAYS reminds me that I haven't done well in a subject, or I didn't get an A in something. She definately wasn't a bad student, but it's not like she was the TOP student. She always manages to crush my newly built confidence (I was never confident in anything) every time I bring home my report card. She has a thing against my social life. It's not like I go out as often as other girls in my grade do, but when I do go out she always rants about how she doesn't approve. I go to one of the best private schools in my country and there are many rich business family's kids. But I'm not as rich as they are and my friends aren't either. It turns out that my bro's friends are all the rich kids, and he goes out with them almost every weekend whne possible. Even if he's busy she'd make him go for an hour or so to their mansion. BUT when I want to go out it becomes a huuge ordeal, and I hardly go out with friends to socialise! She tells me that I need to stay at home and STUDY for the subjects that I didn't get an A in. That's perfectly normal, but the thing is she thinks that having to study means THE WHOLE DAY and I shouldn't have any time left to go out or check out my FaceBook page or whatever. For example, today I asked if I can go out for a movie (the cinema is just 10 minutes from home, the movie is less than 2hrs). JUST the movie, no dinner, no fooling around...I'll come straight home. She then started that idiotic ritual of hers, where she reminds me that my grades weren't so good (i.e. I got all A's except for 3 subjects) and that I need to study much harder. Yes, I need to study more but that doesn't mean I can't go out. And I'm on a 1 week holiday right now, does she expect me to stay home all week and do nothing? If I didn't go to the movie, it doesn't mean I'd be spending that two hours studying. I'd probably be PRETENDING to study (I'm not the type of person who can sit for hours and hours studying. I've got a limit where I say "Enough!" and can't study after that) by starting at my lovely wall the whole time. So what difference does it make? I can go out and have some fun instead of slowly rotting my brain at home! I am SO sick of her expectations and her control-freak attitude. I'm still 16 so I can't live on my own or anything. I feel so trapped that I desperately signed up for a camping trip in a Thai jungle, even though I'm not a huge fan of camping, let alone in a jungle. I think this is really bad for me, but I have no idea what to do! Talking to her doesn't work because she always thinks she is right. I am an American Girl doll fan, and I am trying to save up...well...$900 to buy American Girl Mia's Whole World on ebay. $900 is a lot of money, so of course I wouldn't ask a family member to buy it for me. I want to save up as much money as I can to add to my jar. My birthday is coming up here in May, and last birthday, all together I got $245 (some of it was gift cards though). So I thought if I were to just add all my extra change/dollar bills, change I find on the street or around the house, money for odd jobs (which doesn't happen very much), and birthday money then maybe I could get $300-$400. I want to have the $900 around September though, because it gets MORE AND MORE expensive as time goes on (Mia isn't sold anymore), so I was thinking about starting a babysitting business. I babysit for these two people like once ever 2 months. I usually get between $15 and $20. This will help once I babysit again, but it's just NOT ENOUGH. So I want to figure out how to run a babysitting business BEFORE I talk to my mom about it. I just need some tips! Some things I need to know: 1) What should my fliers look like? 2) What is a good price p/hour or p/kid for the job? 3) I don't want to babysit babies, because I'm really bad at managing them. I can babysit starting at maybe 4 and ending at maybe 9, how to I write that on a flier? 4) Where should I post my fliers? 5) How should I meet with the people possibly BEFORE the night/day of the job? 6) If I get it figured out, should I make an email address for my business? I'm writing thank you notes to the people I met with at the college I will be attending next year. The man I met with is referred to as Dr. *Name* so I will address him in that way, however, two of the women introduced themselves to me just saying their first and last names. None of their business cards say whether they earned their PhDs (including the gentleman's, so I know the school just doesn't print it on the cards). Both of the women are married and took their husbands' last names, should I just write "Dear Mrs. *Name*," on each of my notes to them? I don't want to be rude or make a mistake. okay so I have to make this quick. so i posted a question about this b4 and a lot of you said they would understand when I said that I wanted to be and actress and get an agent and stuff. i haven't told them yet. I was thinking about it, but then we were in the mall and we passed by this (fake) agency stand in the mall. the man there said to my mom "oh your daughter has a nice look! would you like our card?" and she smiled and shook her head. I thought she said no bcuz it was a fake agency but it turned out she didnt even know it was fake! she said she said no bcuz she "doesnt want me in that business". i was going to ask her "well, what if i wanted to be in that business?" but I thought against it. what should I say now? my dad also said earlier "look how many famous people's lives are messed up! you shouldn't want to be famous," to my sister bcuz she was also expressing interest at TV acting and stuff. Voting Question: How do I get more Avon customers?

How can I get more customers? I live with my in-laws in a gated community of active seniors. I hand out brochures (door to door), but I CAN NOT hang up flyers or anything like that because of management. I have placed brochures in the small shopping center across the street. But I CAN NOT hang up flyers, business cards or anything like that there because there are NO bulletin boards anywhere in the center. What else can I do to get more customers? I CAN NOT afford to pay for ads. I have been selling Avon since the first part of December. and only have 3 or 4 steady customers. Avon is my only source of income, and I DO NOT make much ( about $20 every 2 weeks). I lost my job in September 2009.I can not afford business cards, since I am only making about $20 every 2 weeks.
