County attorney's office joins crackdown on employers
KINGMAN - A Bullhead City area construction company is one of eight businesses being investigated by the county for hiring illegal immigrants.The Legal Arizona Workers Act, which went into effect in January, cracks down on employers who intentionally or knowingly employ unauthorized workers, or employees who do not have the legal right to work in this country.
Chief Deputy Mohave County Attorney Jace Zack said there have been eight complaints filed so far with his office. One of the complaints has been filed in the Bullhead City area against the construction company. Other complaints have been filed against construction companies in Lake Havasu City and Kingman. So far, the county attorney's office has not filed any lawsuits against the businesses. NEW YORK (AP) - A hedge fund attempting to gain four seats on the board of Dillard's Inc. has asked to inspect the department store chain's records related to executive perquisites and business relationships, according to a regulatory filing on Tuesday.
Barington Capital Group LP, led by James Mitarotonda, and its affiliate, Clinton Group Inc., has blamed Chairman, President and Chief Executive William Dillard II for Dillard's declining stock price.
The hedge fund asked for the records related to executives' perquisites or non-cash compensation, use of company aircraft and business expenses. Barington also asked to inspect records regarding contractors and construction developers, family and business relationships and the company's retirement trust.

I bought this perforated business card paper from staples, and on the packaging there is a website address to download templates. Well its not really going according to plan, I cant insert a graphic and then type over it, I cant figure out a way to put lines and stuff on my card, basically all I can figure out is to type the business name and all the info. WOW! That will grab people attention! lmao I really need to figure this out and quick, I need the business cards for tomorrow morning. I know I know, I should leave things till last minute, but I wasnt aware I would need them until earlier today. Im using microsoft word, and im trying to use a template, but still running into the same problems (cant type over graphic, etc). Well, I recently tried the bluetooth option and the only available features was the headset, business card, and two other applications that I have no interests in. If I cannot transfer files between my computer and verizon alias through bluetooth, is the micro SD a more viable option? here is my computer info: Video Card: chip NVidia DAC 8 bit Chip Rev B1 32 MB card Adapter string VGA OS= Vista Business CPU 1.70 GHz RAM 1.7GB disc space available over 90GB display resolution 1280 x 1024 pixels (16 bit colors) i am an administrator on my computer so i can install programs. please let me know if you need more info when i install the exe, it downloads fine, installs fine to my c drive and the wizard says it's finished. so when i open it up, i type my user name and password in there. i got the intro video to show, but it didn't have sound. so after the video is done, the screen flashes black and then it says toontown exe has stopped working or isn't working properly. then it says windows is checking for a solution. on the toontown launch program it said 255 game closed abnormally or something like that then it also said something about it with a -147.... or some other error code like that it's really frustrating me i got it to work on my dad's vista business laptop but for some reason it isn't working on my computer. windows also says that i have the most up to date software for my video card, so it might not let me download another one. if you need more information please email me and let me know. if you know the problem that's wrong, please tell me so i can fix it. i love playing this game and besides the bandwidth logging me off all the time on the other computers, this dilemma is the only thing standing in my way. thank you very much moreResolved Question: damaged internet card?

Well, i have: Intel P4 3.0Ghz(HT enabled) 1Gb of RAM(Motherboard supports up to 2Gb) nVidia FX5500 256MB Memory 3 HDDs:(please ignore the dots) ...Seagate IDE 160Gb (50Gb for Windows XP-frequently used & 110Gb for data) ...Seagate SATA 120Gb (for Data) ...Maxtor 40Gb (for Windows Vista) ...(Therefore, i have 4 drives in "My Computer": C:, D:, E: & F: ) Motherboard: Asus P5V800-MX(supports Intel Pentium D) 1 CD-ROM 1 CD/DVD+-R/RW 1 expansion card installed(Winfast Global-for recording videos) I am a massive internet user(I download alot), multi-tasker(surfing the net while copying files, downloading, printing & etc.), data keeper and absolutely NOT a PC gamer - I use my computer for personal use, education and sometimes business. I edit pictures at 3k-20k pixel sizes, create HD videos, making flash, edit sounds, etc. While watching Eagle Eye movie(copied the file from DVD to HDD) on my XP, my computer restarted on itself. After startup, it showed "recovered from a system failure. A log file has been created" why is that?. I restarted my PC again but, now, it takes more than 30mins loading the startup. I restarted my system again, but this time i used the Vista do some check disks and defrags. I still get the self restart while watching Eagle's Eye on Vista. I suspected that there should be something wrong. I checked the CPU fan and temp, they're: 1950-2000RPM and 42C-51C(are these values normal?) or have i just loaded lots of HDDs? or should i need upgrade system: buy new CPU, add more RAMs and buy higher display cards? or is my OS corrupted* and needs a reformat as well as installation? *Recently, XP showed an error about Dr. Watson(what this?) and then laggs. Here is my problem. I have a toshiba A215-S5817. I upgraded from Vista Home edition to Vista Business. As soon as I did this, my audio port went nuts. When I plug my headphones in, the right side just hears static and it will end up getting HOT. I tried multiple sets of headphones with the same result. I downloaded the most current RealTek HD Audio Driver (version 6.0.1.5700). That did not help. What is crazy is that I had another identical computer that did the same thing after installing Vista Business. I took the other one back cause I thought it had a faulty sound card. Could this be a BIOS issue? If so, how do I check to see if I need to update my BIOS. I will be honest, I don't know much about computers. Someone just said that this could be the problem, but didn't have time to help me out. If this doesn't sound like a BIOS issue, what else could it be? hi, greetings... im so damn frustrated, disappointed and angry with my stupid isp for being so slow... heres the story, the previous months january to 3rd week of october i was satisfied with the performance of my isp (there are days that is not but recently is different) i could get 300-500 kbps downspeed and 100-300 upspeed (speedtest.net), i could surf fast, i could watch plenty of anime episodes a day, i could watch several movies a day at ovguide, i could download naruto bleach episodes fast... BUT since the last week of october until now WOWOWEE suddenly it became so slow, even just opening firefox with its default homepage took a min to finish... i don't understand really! i didn't do anything unnecessary to my PC and the wirings of my isp broadband... i called their customer service BUT telling me the same kind of troubleshooting that i already know and heres whats more irritating people, it will take ONE WEEK for the techs to troubleshoot your pc... i mean, ONE ***KING WEEK is so ... AHHHHHHHHH!!! i already format my pc (2x), change my AV from AVG8 to AviraFree, i also added Spybot, i thouroughly clean my pc, check the onboard LAN, the isp adapter, scan my pc for spyware malware trojans virus for several times (Zero result), i tried proxy server (proxy.meridian.ph 8080 port) it works for a few hours like from 50-100kbps to 100-350 kbps but it will return again and again and again... DAMN!!! Perhaps my only option is to climb up to the roof and check the ANTENNA PERSONALLY AND CONFRONT IT!!..well they have a utility program that will check your connection to know where the problem occur (QuickFix) but there is no problem on the antenna/lan card... BUT i notice something during latency check they few request timed out thingy and in trace route Hop# 1-14 there are some request timed out also... well i dont fully understand all of this you know... oh yeah, i didnt paid the September bill so they double on the October but i only paid the September bill so having a balance of 1 month... So, i was thinking that it might affect the speed i am having recently, you know this is also a business, you get what you paid... but this isnt the first time that i didnt pay my bill at full, and the speed will back in a few days but not recently, its really different. you might think that everytime i experience slowlyness on my isp is i need to pay for the months bill and the speed will return? yes, thats what i had notice honestly... I recently purchased said phone on ebay. I have service with a local phone company that uses sim cards and all that. I also have a data plan that lets me browse the internet. Let me explain before i tell you my problem: I have these sims games installed: The Sims Double Deluxe Open For Business Freetime Pets Seasons H&M Fashion Stuff Teen Style Stuff and Glamor Life Stuff I also have Bon Voyage but I don't have it installed lol so anyways... I have 41 gigs used up and i have 70 gigs left. The computer I use to play the sims 2 is a really good computer. Its my bf's computer and we recently put in a new graphics card and added a 512 mb stick. so now we have 1gig of ram. So I know everything is okay on the computer. And its not the stuff I have downloaded in my game, because even before I downloaded stuff (hair, objects etc.) It did this. The problem: Say I build a nice house. With a nice garden, garage, 2 story. rooms for every sim and bathrooms. You know. everything... And I like to use expensive furniture (It looks better, and it gives them ++ on their environment need) Well while building, and during game play my game lags so bad while playing! And even if I download a house that someone else made off the sims 2 website. It lags. I hate it and I don't know why it lags. Can someone please tell me why it lags and what I can do to fix it. I installed 'Sims 2' then 'Family Fun Stuff' then 'Celebration Stuff' and they all worked fine. But when I installed 'Open For Business' the error message about "Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics ... application will now terminate." appeared and none of the other expansions would open. When I uninstalled 'Open For Business' the other expansions worked again. I know a lot of people have also had this problem and it has something to do with the graphic card in my laptop; Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family. The booklet warns that "video card chipsets in laptop systems may work with this game but are not supported by EA". What does that mean? During Sims 2 Open for Business the computer monitor goes into sleep mode but I can't get it out of sleep mode without turning off my computer. I cleaned the dust out of the inside and with the side panel off of it and it did the same thing - so it's not an overheating problem. The video card is new - I'm not familar with computers so I'm not sure what type and whatever it is but my brother installed a new, expensive one last year. The computer worked better with it until I tried playing Sims 2 OFB a few weeks ago. I installed all the recommended drivers and downloads off the Dell website and it didn't help. I'm wanting a computer that is solid for typical home/business use (running a few simple programs at the same - excel, word, firefox, etc, surfing the web, downloading and burning music/dvd's) I currently have a VERY outdated computer I build back in 2000, but don't feel like dishing out mega bucks for an all-star box. I also already have a new power supply and dvd burner and sound card, so I really just need a new case, mobo, hd, ram, video card, and cpu. Looking on Newegg I saw around 450 to build including tax and shipping/handling, whereas tigerdirect had some barebones boxes for much cheaper. My company also gets deals through hp and my dad works at dell so I get "some" deals, but nothing amazing. I hate store bought computers, because they are usually hell to work on/upgrade and proprietary, but I also don't need anything fancy, just something better than I'm running now. I'm thinking 2.2 ghz dual-core, 2gb ram, 250gb hdd... what do you think.. store bought or build?
